Thanks for explaining that, Verb. I don't see how we can grow as a game player without relying on our past experience, though. So, I'm a bit puzzled about that whole concept.

Pete, you have to be kidding! I'm not allowed to defend myself against personal attacks without seeming scummy? That's just stupid. I'd say that I think you and Pandy are working together to get my killed, except I can't see how it could possibly benefit you. You couldn't know my role, and getting yourself killed like Pandy would only reduce your number to a dangerous level. So, I'm guessing that's not what you're doing. Just stirring the pot again, bro? There's nothing here to find. Sorry.

Yep. Crush. That's why I have faith in your system. It works! ;)

Nice day one lynch on a baddie!! ;D  Pandy always acts like a prick when hes mafia.

Nae you have just become more awesome than I ever thought, I love that line.

I guess that was a big pro that one  ;D

And also, Lily. due to the nature of Mafiagames, and all the different roles you can get, metagaming is rarely a good thing. Tho it sometimes works, a person rarely has the same roles two games in a row, so saying "that person was a mafia last game, he must be a mafia this time too, because he acts just the same as that time when he was" is never a good reason to lynch imo, cause I know people mostly act the same regardless. Some exceptions to the rule of course, and I know this was a crappy try at explaining, but thats just my opinion  ;D

The main point is that a good player will alter his/her game style so that you can never tell, or simply play the exact same way in EVERY game.  Either method makes guessing alignment based on past games risky at best, and disasterous at worst.

I'm still waiting on Night Actions. Many of you have them, so please send them in! If you have questions, PM me.

Pale light begins to filter through the mist, and as you douse the torches, you watch each other in the early light. Looks of mistrust and dread give way to relief as you realize that everyone has made it through the night.

"We have discovered and killed one assassin, and the other assassins have failed to kill one of us. It is a most auspicious start! The king would be pleased."

Heads nod in agreement as leather armour and weapons are taken up.

You stare at the paths set before you, stone walls parting to allow passage to the left, throuh the middle, or to the right.

"Artificer, which path do we choose?"

A gentle snore is your only answer, and all eyes turn to the figure still asleep against the wall.

"Maybe not as aupsicious a beginning as we had at first hoped."

Several harumphs are uttered, and then the middle path is chosen for lack of knowledge. A half grumble, half voice calls out,, "Somebody wake up the Artificer...and let us hope that the Weaver is more dilligent."

The Weaver nods, indicating that the path back is well accounted for.

As a group, the eleven of you move forward, and though the events of the previous day are encouraging, the bones that now litter along the path are not.

IT IS NOW DAY 2. YOU MAY BEGIN VOTING.You have 72 hours until Night 2.

Verbal, Jeran and Rey didn't vote for Panda. So I am assuming that one is probably scum.

Out of those I pick [glow=red,2,300]Jeran[/glow]

For some reason, Nae's comment strikes me as something a mafia would say. Not sure why. Unlike Pete, I'm not going to vote just yet, though.

I'm just glad we didn't lose anybody last night. This is looking good so far!

The last (and only) time I decided to cast my votes based solely on other people's voting patterns it was nearly a disaster.  I led or strongly contributed to a charge on at least three innocents in a row who were voted out and the game came down to one person's vote to let the town win.  (Double Blind game on Myndjack)

@Red in your next update you should include Danya who didn't vote.

Well fair enough I suppose Lily but I'm actually wary of you... the way you and Pandy were at each other reeks of a kivam gambit.  Tell me.. did the mafia forget to kill someone?  Or did the healer get lucky?  That's all I'm sayin.

Are you asking ME to tell you? I'd like those answers myself, actually, but you and I both know we won't get them. Either way, we got lucky last night.

As I've said before I didn't "go at" Pandy. I defended myself from his attacks. There's a difference.

And Nae, attacking the person who commented on your post negatively is a scum ploy, hon.
