Hollywood 1940's Mafia! Game Over!

Hollywood, 1940. You enter the dark set of your top-secret movie, coffee in hand ready for the day’s shoot when you trip over something lumpy. Thinking it’s a mislaid prop; you move your foot around to feel what is hindering your path. Shocked by the size, you then feel the item with your hand. It’s cold slick skin. You scream as the lights come on. Stricken with horror you look upon the star of the movie. It looks as though an axe cleaved between his neck and shoulder. On the verge of fainting, the rest of the crew rushes over as soon as they heard your scream.

 

 

It is Day. You will have 72 hours to come up with a majority vote else some random player will be lynched.

 

Rules:

 

Before posting in the game, please confirm your roll via pm.

 

Day Cycles will be a maximum of 72 hours and Night Cycles will be 48 hours.

 

If Day deadlines are missed and a majority lynch is not reached, a random player will be killed.

 

If Night deadlines are missed, you forfeit your action for that night.

 

All votes must be GLOWED in the [glow=red,2,300]COLOR RED[/glow] to count.

 

If you are to Glow anything else, please use a different color, else the MOD might smite you.

 

You may not speak outside the game thread unless your role states that you may.

 

You may not quote pms from the Mod, if you do it will be an instant MOD KILL.

 

You may not EDIT your posts, to do so would be considered cheating!

 

Unless you are gone on an LOA, and have notified the MOD, you are required to post at least once within a GAME DAY to not be MOD KILLED for inactivity.

I looked back and we are still waiting on Nyn, Hybrid, DJ, & Blig to check in. We should be around 30 hours into our 72 hour day.

 

Mod, is a No Lynch vote allowed? I'm not a big fan of the No Lynch vote, but it's an alternative to a random kill.

I don't disagree - I'd rather have the information that a majority vote would give us.  But, It would be better to only lose 1 innocent instead of 2. If we don't hit 8 votes, the mod will random kill 1, and the chances are the highest that it will be an innocent.  The mafi will take their kill, and we'll be right back here in the morning.

 

We would have to wait to get any info, but it would save a player's life.

I'm here...and i'm afraid that, with the way things are going, that we will not reach a majority vote in time.  :-\

 

I wouldn't want the first mafia game i've played in a real long time to have the mod kill me off all quick like...not that i'd be the one randomly Mod Killed, i'm just sayin' that it can be pretty random  :'(

 

But hey...life can be like that. (Wishes he could say it in French where it sounds cool)  :D  :P

 

I've checked in but who's to say what's going on with Nyn, Hybrid or DJ? Maybe they're just sitting back and watching the show...maybe they're passed out from a long day at the office...maybe...just maybe...i'm not making any sense at all.  :(
