Alys m'dear, you set the deadline for Thursday, I only added the timezone that I thought you were in. Of course, I was wrong, and for that I blame you for being in a lesser timezone. :P

To everyone: Yes, deadline is Thursday

To Jelly: Read the first post in this thread. I've edited it a bit.

That being said, can we bury this dog, pretty please?  ;)

The sooner the better :D

Okay, the four people I said I'ld look at earlier. Bold is the name, # is the number of the reply, italics is something I would like to hear more about. Things between "" are quotes, between ( ) are personal comments

FDM

# 65: says she'll be online much from now on - except during the weekends

# 92: repeats she never votes on Day 1 (well, I prefer to vote on non-voters to keep the game interesting)

Blig

# 02: spam

# 09: spam

# 12: spam

# 50: no voting, but leans towards me because of my "crappy logic" and "letting things slip he didn't mean to let go" (Which???)

# 53: spam

BCX

# 33: new job --> only online every other day; holds his vote because he's still got time till the deadline

#112: doesn't believe the editing thing; thinks I drew too much attention to be maffia; votes for the person lying low that catches his eye: Luthine

May

# 75: excuses herself for being late; says she'll make a vote later

# 93: was going to vote for me, but doesn't for: "but now im begining to think that mabey there was some editing going on so Im not so sure. Vemy doing his supper nice thing could just be to throw us off as some of us where in the other game, but I dont want to vote on that alone other then that I dont relly have much to go on!". (Care for some explanation??)

Oh, and my excuses if I made a gender-mistake.

I'll keep my vote on blig for now.

My suggestion would be to keep it on me, blig, boyo, or daet for today.

thorum (4) - nae, kivam, dpr, daet

blig (2) - luthine, thorum

boyo (2) - the dude, jelly

daet (2) - leelou, loki

kivam (1) - boyo

leelou (1) - verbal

dpr (1) - vemy

luthine (1) - bcx

not voting: fdm, sirayn, blig, may

Question @ the mods: what happens if no one reaches the necessary amount of votes?

PS: sirayn hasn't voted yet?? strange...

i'm calling it. thorum will die at night fall. barms will post the scene when he gets here. time to send in those actions. you have until monday morning about 8 am Central Time due to the weekend being on the way- that is unless actions are in sooner.

don't forget, night actions go to both mods. try not to talk in the night. i am, however, leaving the thread open so that loa's and such can be posted.

"Well I'll be damned, guess somebody had to test Mr. Jackson's word," Kivam stated to the Dude, as they watched Thorum get gunned down by General Lee's forces, "Guess that goes to show that none of the rest of us will be leaving."

"Agreed," replied the Dude, "he's made a good example of what happens if you try to flee the town, even by cover of darkness through the bush."

Thorum, an innocent, is dead. It is now night, deadline is whenever Alys said it is, in her last post before this one.

He's the guy who lead the Confederate forces in the Civil War. Andrew Jackson was one of the American Presidents pre-Civil War, and I believe he was a slave owner before that. Not sure about that last though.

I pointed this out in the last Corner Pub game, and I think it helped us win: we really do need to come to a majority vote to lynch, otherwise we give the mafia a big advantage.  It did not matter as much on day 1 because we are working with no info, but in the future, we have to avoid letting the mafia cast doubt on an innocent just get a few votes on them, knowing that they'll get lynched. I've used this before as an evil, and it is very easy to manipulate the game with. The innocents strength lies in our numbers, and our combined ability to pick the most likely person to lynch.  I know this isn't anyone's first rodeo, but I did want to at least mention it.

General Lee actually, if I remember correctly, never owned slaves and didn't even like the institution, but he felt his honor was bound with the fate of the South, where he was born and raised. Thus, he left the service of the U.S. military and headed up the Confederate Army....

barms, next time you are around, could you pm me?

+1,000

In fact, more than just allowing the mafia to lynch people with fewer votes, it leaves us with a lot less information to analyze, which puts us at a disadvantage on day 2 and 3 and however far down the road this game goes before we win (and we will win  ;D)

So more votes, people.

Thorum died? That...that's sad. I voted with my mafia buddy's, in the Ragnorak game, to NK him. And he dies again? So soon?

*looks to Thorum*

Bummer man...  :-\

It's night huh?  :(

*runs to hide*

Robert E Lee was actually offered the command of the entire Union Army.  As a confederate General he only commanded one of the Confederacies field armies. The Army of Northern Virginia, even though it contained more than just Virginians.

The South will rise again! South Carolina shall prevail! You will all say y'all instead of you all! First new law! *nods*

Folks, we have a carpetbagger.  Any true southerner'd know to say "Y'all will say y'all", not some fancy yank "You will all"

Blig to the block!  Blig to the block!
