WoT dreams

[A Demon Llama!]

A while ago I had a dream, a special dream.  It was about me, but I had the ability to use the power.  I was in some sort of depression and all around me there were trollocks emerging from the hills and running straight for me.  I blasted them this way and that with fireballs, shot lightning, and blew up earth under them.  I vaguely remember some soldiers fighting beside me, but didn't pay much attention.  Also while attacking them shadowspawn I felt good, very good... must be the power... After the last trollock was blown to pieces I remember making a chair or some sort of seat out of air air, sat down, and... that's all I remember.

 

Now that was a pretty cool dream, but I told myself that all this reading WoT has messed up my brain.  Any of you experienced this brain... breakage... with  some WoT dreams?  Or am I the only one?

I've had dreams of being able to channel the One Power before. In my dream i was so excited that i went to my friends who also read the books and i tried to show them to do it too. lol. It wasnt anything hardcore just moving things around and making a flame. But yea WoT definitly infiltrated my dreams.  :)

    I can't honestly say that I haven't had a dream of WOT, but considering I've been reading the books for over 10 years, I might have. But definetly, not a dream as vivid as that one. Kudos to you and let us know if you find out the end of the book before us!! lol

I believe I have had a few WoT dreams, but I think it was more T'A'R than anything else. It's all too jumbled up for me to succeed in channeling. But if I became aware of the dream I would probably something stupid, like balefiring myself to see what happens  :)

I've had dreams with trollocs (that one was awesome) in before and Aes Sedai, but I've never channeled myself although I do sometimes have powers just not the One Power.

Sometimes when I fall to sleep listening to the books on tapes I find my self in a WOT world. Normally fighting with a sword.

Ive had WoT dreams, I cant remember them, but i was definately interacting with the characters. I think i was an Aiel chief, which is wierd.

Sorry to grave-dig, but this was the only thread I found using the search function, and I figured it would be better to resurrect it rather than just start a new one entirely.  :-\

 

Anyway, I just had a WoT dream last night. I was in an office building, or something, when a large man came in, claiming he was testing to see whether anyone could channel. I was pretty anxious to find out, and so volunteered myself. He did the flame resonance-test with me, and to my great joy, he told me just seconds after starting that I could channel saidin. That was probably the happiest I've ever been in a dream. I walked away excited, and hoped that I was powerful. I also remember attempting to embrace saidin later in the dream, but I don't think I succeeded.

It was because you have to seize saidin not embrace it!

 

Anyway I had a dream once I was myself in Randland and I was supposed to help Rand and Moiraine and Egwene because they were all in trouble or something because I was real important some how. I don't think I could channel. Then one of the female forsaken or some high up Black Ajah Aes Sedai was promising me all these wonders if I betrayed them and helped her and I remember trying to think of a way to try taking advantage of this and still helping the others. Great dream.

I've had two dreams about the WoT world, one in which i killed Lan in a sword fight then went on to kill Moridin and Rand together linked in a OP fight (i'm not modest in my dreams) And the other one i was basically Lan but better and could channel and Nynaeve was my wife and bonder

I've never dreamed anything like that, but I have daydreamed about using the power...mostly at work to make life easier.

I had this one dream that I don't remember much of, but I remember it involved a jungle, not the blight because one scene had two AS strolling through the rainforest and chatting, which wouldn't happen in the blight.

 

No one strolls through the blight, not even the things that live there.
