Questions to be Answered

Before I start, I dont want this thread to get into the "I think the answer is this" discussions, so if you want to give us your opinions on the answers, please use the lovely shiny search bar to find the most relevant post and leave your opinions in there.

 

What I want to do, is find out which questions are burning in everyone's head - I suspect that aside from the obvious, there are things that I am dying to know that other people have barely passed a thought on.

 

Not including 'who will win Tarmon Gaidon' OR 'who killed Asmodean' OR 'where is Demandred'?.

 

For me, I want the answers to:

 

The Verin conundrum

The Sheriam conundrum

Will Tam and Rand and Abel and Mat get back together?

Will Sevanna and Therava get their come-uppance?

What will become of Slayer / Isam / Luc?

Will Galad discover Rand is his half-brother, and what will be his reaction?

What will happen if/when Siuan is restored to her former strength in the power?

When will Mesaana surface, and what will she do?

Will the AS ever fully root out the BA, and what will they do to them?

What is the significance of the Dream of Logain and Rand's body?

What will happen if / when Morgase is found out?

What is Breane doing with Lamgwin, and will she play a bigger part?

Will Bela / Lini / Sorilea EVER die?

 

There are some others too but they DO centre around the 'who killed asmodean'-type debates.

 

What about you? Are there some little details that you want clarifying?

Will Setalla Anan (sp?) be healed?  can she be?

How the attack on the White Tower will play out?

What exactly did happen to Lanfear?

Is Manetheren revived or will the two rivers stay part of Andor?

Does Rand marry anyone or just shack up with the three?

Will we see Giadal Cain or is he out of the picture?

Can I get a date with Lanfear, or at least a one nighter?

I want to know the nature of the connection between Moridin and Shaidar Haran. Theres is definitely something happening there, something about them both is nagging at me. I have a theory on this but not many people agree with it. Shaidar Haran is Moridin wrapped in the True Power.

 

Also, Noal Charin/Jain Farstrider. I can't believe that Jain Farstrider isn't a Darkfriend. Can't wait till we find out what secrets are being kept on this one, and Im quite sure this is something that WILL be revealed in AMoL.

 

Lastly I want to find out what Alivias exact role is in Rands death. She will "help him die" as we all know, Rand knows this isn't something bad necessarily, but there has been no light shed on this whatsoever so far.

In plain terms what exactly was the sin did the Aiel commit, and after all is said and done what will be their role after TG?

 

How is Rand going to both bow to and bind the Seanchan?

 

What will happen with the five major groups of channeling women? Will Aiel, Sea Folk, Aes Sedai, Seanchan, and...oh man I forget what the those other group of women are called...put aside their differences eventually and become one much stronger and more knowledgable group, or will they continue to be seperate and keep their secrets from one another (well soemthing would have to give with the Seanchan at least since they seem to want to colar all the channellers and none of the other channellers wants colared)?

Here are the few aditional questions burning my brain up:

1) What is the 'remnant of a remnant' of the Aiel who will be saved? Is it the Shaido coz they are the only ones who returned to the waste?

2) Will the Seanchan habit of collaring channelers stop after Tarmon Gaidon?

3) What is the significance of the royal line of andor in Tarmon Gaidon? Or has this already occured (ie. Rand's mother etc)

4) Another interesting idea is this... Will it be Rand or Lews Therin wielding saidin at Tarmon Gaidon? This idea,  I think, deserves considerable thought, I might post an additional thread on it... :D

Cain was reborn, and is currently an infant. What answer do you want beyond that? Also, we have an answer to the second - only the Seanchan Prophecies make mention of Rand bowing to the Crystal Throne, the Seanchan Prophecies are corrupted, we are not going back to Seanchan in AMOL. I'm sure you can work it out from there.

This reminds me of the end of the old sitcom called "Soap"  There was a catchy theme song and asked questions that would be answered in the next episode.  If you're under 30, don't bother asking. 

 

Will Elaida be stilled?  Or just birched for being a dumbass?

Which of the Seanchan characters will assist Egwene?

Will Lan raise an army and hold the Gap or will he die in glory?

What will Cadsuane teach Rand and all the Ashaman?

What will Thom do to the Aes Sedai who gentled Owyn?

Will the White Tower be destroyed?

Will Egwene and Gawyn do the deed?  and by that I mean the Warder Bond you perverts.

How does Mat lose his eye?

Will the Aes Sedai wriggle out of the Sea Folk Bargain?

Will the Kin haev to swear the 3 oaths even if it means their deaths

Nicola?

Who is the Hawk from Egwene's dream, Tuon or Berelain?

Who is the Seanchan woman with a sword who will save Egwene?  Egeanin?

What happens with the Sul'dam/Damane issue.

How and where will Logain find his glory?

Who was the dying man from Egwene's dream?  Why it is important he not die?

What's the darkness around Bashere?

What's "Odd" about Aviendha's Babies?

Will the five Hunters in the Tower root out all the Black Ajah?

Will Rnad break the seals?

What will happen when Rand and Egwene cross paths again.

Will Elayne take the throne of Cairhien?

Will Chiad give up the spear for Gaul?  What about Bain?

What is the "tragedy for the world" RJ referred to?

Will Mat have his cannon ready before TG?

How will Carlinya become Da'covale?

Will Suian Sanche marry Gareth Bryne?

Who kills Padan Fain?

    I love the 'Batman' reference.

 

    Will we find out where the Chosen have been hiding? The ones we don't know about.

    What will happen to Masema when/if Moirainne puts her hands on him?

    If not Moirainne who gets to him?

    Will we see armies fighting in the Pit of Doom or will it just be Rand against the DO?

This has already be answered (in <i>The Shadow Rising</i>. They abandoned the Way of the Leaf, and thus broke the Covenant they had with the Aes Sedai, and the commitment they had made to the Aes Sedai when leaving Paaren Disen:

 

SR, Chap. 26.,

 

Solinda Sedai to Jonai:

 

``Keep the Covenant, Jonai. If the Da'shain lose everything else, see that they keep the Way of the Leaf. Promise me.''

 

Jonai replies, shocked at the very thought: ``Of course, Aes Sedai''. As he then reflects to himself: ``The Covenant was the Aiel and the Aiel were the Covenant; to abandon the Way would be to abandon what they were.''.

 

But of course, some of them do break the Covenant, and eventually those that did become the only Aiel, once the Jenn Aiel die out. And that they did so, was, on the face of it, necessary that they should be preserved to play their role in TG, as well as to save the Jenn Aiel long enough for them to create Rhuidean and conceal most of the objects of the power entrusted to them (and a Chora tree), including most particularly the access keys to the Choedan Kal.

Depending on your POV, this was never lost. The chiefs of Rand's line, at a minimum, all shared Coumin's memory of the seed singing.

Who is the Hawk from Egwene's dream, Tuon or Berelain?

 

I'm not answering this but would like to point out that Tuon is a Raven, no matter how much hawk blood she thinks she has.

 

1) Why are they all dead when the seals are gone? The seals weren't there in the war of power and many survived. What makes this time different?

 

2) Will Nynaeve remember how she turned saidin against Aginor during her test for accepted? This would be handy for TG. Also against the Black Tower.

 

3) Does Rand bind the nine moons to him? Is it possible this passage was about Mat, and the non-Verin idiots in the tower just didn't realise it?

 

4) Will Mat be the one to say "Hey Perrin, I know you've gone all lordly and like the finer things in life, but having Queen Morgase bringing you your tea is going a bit far!"

 

5) Will Egwene finally get her dreams, or continue to be so wrong? She's worse than Elaida.

 

6) Will it be Mordeth/Fain, sick with rage at the sight of his thwarted vengeance who up and kills the dark one for taking away the pleasure of killing Rand? Is this why it's Rand's blood on Shayol Ghul - not his abilities - that will end the battle?

 

7) What will they do with Semirhage?

 

8) Will Rand ever get into that pond with all 3 of his girls?

 

9) Will my self-saucing chocholate pudding be cool enough to eat by now? Have I put on too much thickened cream?

 

And I'm pretty sure Danger Mouse did that Soap thing before the add breaks.
