  1. Did I miss something? I understand that the channeling red-veiled Aiel were male Aiel channlers that went to fight the shadow and they were turned. Did we ever get an explanation as to where all the non-channeling red-veiled Aiel came from? I was surprised how many there were. Were there any red-veil maidens?
  2. Thank you, that link finally worked after my 1,000 clicks on it. I HAVE it now!
  3. I got up at 3AM today, because it was supposed to be up on their site (audible) by that time..It is now after 9:00 and still not up. I have e-mailed them and nothing back yet.
  4. Waiting so very patiently......NOT! I feel like a little kid at Christmas. Why is time going so very slow now?
  5. Failed: A Time to Die Time To Die A Marriage Wreath Honor of a Wise One
  6. Failed Marriage of a Wise One A Time for Marriage
  7. Personally, I am fine paying for any part of the book I can get early. The earlier the better. Yes, I need my WOT fix asap. I did not think the cost was excessive for the last early release and I was pleasantly surprised for the other free release after. I hope we get something asap.
  8. That would be "The Prophet" preaching about Rand. Masema(The Prophet) is insanely dedicated to the DB, but has twisted himself into a lunatic, mainly because he was sent from their hideout in the mountains by Lan & Moiraine after Rand fled alone. (thus not allowed to be near Rand again) The "Shienaran lord" part of that discussion is just Masema's twist on the proclamation, mostly due to the soldiers of Fal Dara having been the first to see and follow Rand before and after the events at Falme. Also, a lot of the rank-and-file in Sheinar did think that Rand was a lord, partially because of the importance that Moiraine put on him, getting welcomed into the home of the Sheinarian king, but also because the Al' in his last name was a royal or noble prefix used in Sheinarian names. So wasn't so much a twist on the proclamation as much as something Masema might have believed. I know this got shot down before, however, as I continue my re-read, in The Fires of Heaven it is mentioned that the Sheinarins are fighting each other. The sisters don't understand why they would be fighting with each other and there is no information given to what is causing it. Did Masema actually stay in Sheinar to preach about the Dragon Reborn? I though he left with Rand before and started his preaching outside of the borderlands? And I know they thought Rand was a lord, but they knew he was not Sheinarin. I still find these reports about Sheinar interesting. Why would they be fighting among themselves? Okay now further along in The Fires of Heaven, there are reports of rebellion in Sheinar. What would cause a rebellion in Sheinar?

  10. I am doing a re-read or I should say re-listen (audio books) and I noticed something that I have never caught before. Forgive my mispelling of names....when Suian is talking to Min and the Keeper in The Shadow Rising, she is talking about all the crazy reports she has been getting. This is right before she gets the report that Rand has taken callindor. One of the things she mentions is that a Lord of Shinar (Borderlands) has proclaimed himself the Dragon Reborn. Could this be it...that the Boderlands have their own "Dragon Reborn" or think they have the true one? (unseen Foresaken..maybe?)
  11. Does anyone recall the last time we did see Danelle in the books? She seemed like the best choice, but I don't remember seeing her for a while. Do we know if she is still in the tower?
  12. I am so bad at remembering what happened in what book, can someone remember? When did the prediction that Perin would need to rescue Rand not once but twice?
  13. I was just doing a re-read and had some questions. It is at the part where one of the sisters is questioning Semi and Cads states she is listening in, but she used the trick of inverting her weaves, so the sister inside could not tell she was listening....however she then states the sisters outside the room could see what she was doing, but they did not say anything. I thought if you inverted your weaves, they could not be seen? Did I misunderstand this? Also, then when Semi drops the tray, she states she immediately embraces the source - that confused me again - shouldn't she already have been embracing the source to do the listening in the first place? Can someone clarify for me?
  14. I am not sure if this is the right place for this or if it is being discussed elsewhere (if so please let me know). Regarding Cadsuane - did anyone else find it suspicious that Cads shows the Domination Band to the Wise Ones - shortly after, the incident with Semi happens - and during that time Cads is out visiting the Wise Ones in their tents? I think Cads even says something like "of all the nights to be out visiting the Wise Ones". This made be very suspicious of the Wise Ones - or maybe one of them. Again, if this is the wrong place for this and I need to move it, just let me know. ***** I found the discussion of this on the Aiel Page ******
