Actually the easiest role to fake is doc, since it reveals no infomation you just say I protected XXX last night...And choose XXX who didn't die.

 

Cop is the next easiest as all you have to do is declare someone innocent and even if they are mafia they are not going to come out and say its false.

 

However the tracker has to be correct not only on who has abilities but whom they use them on, which is impossible to fake.

 

It is also possible that there are more then one team of mafia or individual serial killers...

 

 

i was refering to more that anyone claiming cop or doc falsly, thats pretty hard to pull off, especially when now most people will suspect false claims on those imdedatly. and like i said with a tracker role you could still be evil.

 

whereas claiming an new role gives you at least an extra night if your were an evil.

 

You misunderstand, I don't think everyone should reveal. I think we should force one person to reveal and then depending on the revealed infomation, whether their character is crediable determine whether to lynch...

i think there is a pretty big flaw in this.

-it is somthing that should be done on the second day.

 

then there is more evidence and information to go off. whereas today  what information is there? the usual first day stuff + a revealed role.

 

oh another thing i forgot to mention maybe your some kind of bomb or something geting the finder to look at you will set you off and kabluey! the evils got a sweet ride home to victory.

well, tracker sounds like one of those names that's too specific to make up.  unless ilgross is really mixing it up, i'm inclined to think he's telling the truth.

 

i strongly disagree with his gambit of having someone reveal now to provide clues.  i understand you're revealing yourself to save your bacon, and that's just good sense with the speed you were getting voted for, but i really don't think anyone else should even entertain the idea at this point.  it's really not necessary, and more likely to get someone nightkilled than anything else.

 

ilgross' role sounds to me sort of pseudo-useful.  we know someone's target if they have a role, but not the role itself?  just a clue to point out from that, that probably means there's some other finder-ish role that gives incomplete information too.  just something to keep in mind.  knowing who someone targets could potentially be useful, though.  maybe we should keep him around for a day and see what he turns up?

I absolutely agree with the last few posts about not revealing anymore roles. Revealing only, only, only helps the mafia at this point.

Ok, I've been about today, but I've not been trying to figure out what next thanks to a rather painful migraine.  Now that it's subsided a little, I can try and wrap my mind around this game.

 

Firstly, I'm going to [glow=red,2,300]unvote Ilgross[/glow].  A couple of people have said it, but that role sounds too realistic to be made up.  I've never heard of a tracker role before (ok, I haven't played many games, but still) but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.  It still leaves me clutching at straws, as no-one else stands out at all.

 

Still, I have to vote.  It's going to sound petty, but I'm going to [glow=red,2,300]vote for Loki[/glow].  I have no other reason than he voted for me.
