he was relly good in a little known movie called the mosquito coast, and in regarding hennery.  was average as john ryan in the tom clancy movies, as well as in airforce one.

I really disliked his Jack Ryan stints... they let the series down for me. Jack Ryan is so much better in the books than he is in Harrison Ford's hands.

i hate alec baldwen's guts but he was the only good jack ryan.  i think hollywird is what squrewd up the clancy movies though. i think it is a credit to ford that he refused to do the sum of all fears because the plot was so bad and so different from the book
