Something to pick your brain

Hey all, figured I need to get better acquainted and get to know my fellow members of The Band...so here goes....while most of us of the Band would try to steer clear of Aes Sedai in general, I would like to know who you all found the most intriguing and dare I say *gulp, realizes there might be Aes Sedai in the Band* tolerable??

 

I'll go first, I'd have to say Moiraine, and I hope we will see her again, may be at Tarmon Gaidon??

*chuckles* yes rather a lot of us are also Aes Sedai, Nik but good question. I like Moiraine but I'd have to go with Verin. Another one no-one seems very sure about. She has her own reasons for doing stuff and she intrigues me. She is not Black though, I'm quite positive on that.

To my mind all, the AS have varying degree's of the "We know whats best for you" syndrome which grinds my teeth to no end. Cad's (not ours of course  ;)) is like 947 years old or something so is fair set in her ways. She does have a tiny open spot in her mind though. Moiraine and Verin are learning, though slowly. They still think they can steer the ship... They can't of course.

 

The dumb bunny Seanchan are worse than anyone though... outside of wise ones. ;D

Oh my, this one's full of himself *laughs* ten out of ten for trying. Might be worth noting though that here on the Org side, the Ajahs don't follow the books strictly. All Aes Sedai can bond and do lol. In actual fact, *whispers* watch out for the Reds, their snugglebites are lethal!!  ;D

I also like Verin... I love a Brown with a Aqua streak! (aqua=Green/Blue)

 

And she is not Black Ajah... there was a chapter from her point of view and she most certainly is not. lol

A very good question. I can't really answer since it's been some time since I've read the series, and a re-read is quite low in the list of tbooks to read.

 

However, I did find most of the Aes Sedai annoying and meddling. None really stood out as tolerable. That answer may change on a re-read though.

As for the best one I love, it has to Egwene, I've like her from the start.

 

As for Siuan, I like her alot especially second time round. (her as and AS)
