I mean, I actually did by clarifying what Dice believes was your "Slip" and then gave further context of what you were talking about. Even with that further context, Dice was content that it was indeed a wolf slip. (From the previous game, this.. honestly tracks with Town!Dice logic at play)

It not being a slip, doesn't clear you as Town. But you do still have some existing town cred with me from pages back.

From my perspective, I'm interested in why Peace called that single line that Dice was focused on "barely a slip" rather than "not a slip". Words matter, right? "barely a slip", is good strategic wording to distance from Heavy. Saying "not a slip" = defending heavy, "barely a slip", can be seen as null defense. It gives Peace an Out for "defending" Heavy if you flip town, or Town Cred if you flip wolf.

Berf, says he'll stick around for a Teph train.

Ithi votes Teph.

I ask Berf about that Dice question, he doesn't have time to answer it, but has to skedaddles but not before voting teph.

So, remember how that interaction where you made one post you made, where Leelou followed up a few minutes later saying she liked it and gave you town cred, and people thought that was "Wolfy"?

Berf voting immediately after Ithi "feels" wolfy. There's something sus going on here and I can't put my finger on it. This EOD votes spreading out like this? That's giving me the "heebie jeebies" to paraphrase Ithi.

So... if I had to make a WTL list from the trains right now..

I am currently trying to catch up, on pg 30. Been out food shopping all morning. I don't know why everyone thinks I'm in a cave or whatever. Just wasn't ready to die for what I knew yet. Here's my secrets: I viewed Darth N0, said he was town and then a 🦆 killed him!

Is different. I've given reads. Gud just said no. We got an hour and a half to go and nothing from Gud. Nothing useful from Teph. Barely nothing from you.

There's no 3rd party in this game. I'm just pure looking for mafia. You gonna vote me?

Dude, stop with this "distancing" obsession lmao.

Now I'm not claiming to be an expert, but trying to tell the wolves from their interactions seems like an inefficient way to go about it. How their actions dovetail, or complement each other seems a better way.

But here is a suggestion for Peace's barely a slip. He cannot call it a slip as it obviously wasn't. It was a factual statement. But he wants to sus me in a way that there is no smoke without fire, he can come back and reference this without actually contradicting himself. Not as a single piece of evidence but in a parallel argument where all the little pieces of evidence add up to something.

No it is a real thing. That's why we had to get Key going on her subtext posts from the off.

There's like an inherent part of human nature that makes it difficult to interact naturally with people you're being deceptive with. So me and Key kind of just stayed away from each other as much as we could.

Also you know, Mafia like to plan how they will interact sometimes... like a little play. Usually shows as a bit fakey

So, I quickly skimmed through the 15 pages I have missed, so I will give my feeling on what I read:

Berf: seems to be going back and forth without conviction, kinda fluffy. Maybe he was assuming I was parking my vote and wasting it? Sorry guy, Real Life took me for a twirl but I am here. I understand your vote on me and may have done the same in your shoes

Shad: I really like the cases you made, but I'm not 100% sold on SD. If he rolled wolf a 2nd time, I doubt he would play exactly the same way, so not in total agreement with you on this read. Overall, good hunting, looking for wolves

Ithi: I liked how you were attacking what you were seeing, trying to force a slip maybe? I do not like how you started re-hashing old arguments with SD using the same quotes, etc. Felt forced, while if you would have left it lie it may have felt stronger to me. Overall tho, I have you as top town.

Heavy: Darthe said it in the beginning about you rolling first wolf. I think your playstyle could hide a lot of normal wolfy tendencies. However, I think Dice may have found a slip and I'm going to look at it more. I also think you have been maybe over-defensive, maybe nervous people are sniffing your first wolf rand...?

Yeah obviously I'm looking at this from a town point of view. I really play this game totally differently from all you guys. From town, any interactions are inherently WIFOM. You can test hypotheses against them, but they aren't hard evidence. Where the votes go, who combines to derail the thread, who sets up who, this is much more concrete. It was your and Key's actions, working in concert, not interactions that allowed me to solve the game. Not that it helped anything thanks to a certain pirate, but still.

Remember I'm unspoiled Town, interactions imho are weak sauce. YMMV.

Actually, he said that I may have been a wolf. Which is interesting because I hadn’t even posted at the time he came in and read the thread.
