The nastiness is the redundancy. I get no result if Turin is lying or DPR is lying. For those doubting my claim let me point out that I claimed before anyone else claimed a reason that I would have been. 

 

I admit if I tried a different NA I could have known it wasn't working but I would still not have known why. 

 

2 NAs at night. Not one. Not as many you want so DPR would have double voting. Hmm. 

 

Dice's question to Key about if she had seen his vote, even though it was already included in the final vote count. Is that the reaction of someone having a gut shot in the dark or a nervous person worried their team plan hadn't worked? 

 

We need to narrow it down. We cannot just eliminate everyone and find out. 

 

Like if Ed is lying and used the NK to kill SD, we would only find that out by eliminating him. But that would mean we don't have an explanation for how Teph died. So unless anyone claims or has a reason for it that kind of puts Ed out of the picture (lol if Key's scene was just flavour and Ed actually had an extra NK).

If Tigs is lyjng she either holstered or shot at Turin or me. Not sure holstering makes sense as if SD isn't blocked, he could have done the NK. If he is there is only one other block (and no one at this point knew DPR could use two abilities) so at best it would clear one player (if we believed DPR) but kill a townie. So holstering seems suboptimal and choosing Turin or me over DPR or Ed seems highly cautious as the only way on the table to protect someone was to jail them (if they believed DPR) so jailing DPR wouldn't work and jailing Ed would be counter productive. But the only way to know would be to eliminate Tigs.

I actually just went back and looked at keys vc before I asked

 

when I read it I swear it said I wasn’t on farther lol which is why I asked but looking now it says I’m on farther and I don’t see anything saying it was edited so I think I misread it lol

I think Key had changed the order of the players so the top voted player was on top each time. But still kind of panicky not to see that. Or you still had sleep in your eyes, lol. 

 

On that note I'm getting coffee. It would be really great if we could find someone that could clear more than one person with their flip.

The more I think about D2 the more I doubt Dice was part of the plan. Sd not switching to Darthe in self defense seems to indicate that mafia was willing to "let it ride" believe Darthe said and sacrifice SD. Dice being Dice may have messed up the plan.

Not relevant but I still find it funny as fluff that Dice tried to yolo the inactive player. We may owe him a sleepy lunch. No not really but lololololol 

OK I'm gonna check Darthe for interactions.  SD might be too much to ask.

I was re reading my notes and have some questions before seriously going through Darthe's posts...

 

@DPR, can you bring up your actual read lists and show me anywhere you had SD as town?

 

@dicetosser1, at EoD1 when you came in you said you weren't voting SD (at that time) would you go through your reasoning for having him town.

 

@ed2funy, you shaded Darthe for his entry post about being town

 I think you called it a soft claim. Why you think that?

I viewed you because I was most suspicious of you. As I said, I find it really hard to believe the wolves were voting for themselves all game. Though Darthe was saying that people were being too rigid in their thinking about what a wolf would do, so maybe his strat relies on completely abusing that. Still makes no sense to me so far though. 

 

I didn't like how you had voted lock step with Darthe. I didn't like how it was my sus of your interactions with Darthe that had led to Darthe being outed in part. I also felt resolving whether you were town or not would clarify more than just your alignment. You have had such an effect itt that I would have felt better knowing your alignment. I didn't like the way you (and DPR) were pushing to tell the mafia the only parts of the game they didn't know (the PRs). I didn't like how certain you have been on things I didn't agree with and when things are proven wrong you pivot to a new theory with the same certainty. Though you were right on SD, but then again, so was Darthe so to speak. 

 

I gave the information as it didn't help me and there is only one mafia left, it may have been useful. Also if I was given the ability for balance I may as well try and help town with it. Also, I'm now effectively vanilla again, and even if the mafia think I'm the new cop that just gives them more problems without risking any advantage of Town.

As the Town is in a very good place right now, I’m going to reiterate the scenarios that got us here:

 

ed is the Vig. He claimed it when Mafia wouldn’t know if there was a Vig out there and nobody has countered. We had a double kill on N1 and a Mafia kill on N2. ed is the Vig.
 

If you nutjobs want to try and imagine ridiculous possibilities, that’s on you. I’m done with this topic. 
 

Tigs as the deep wolf mastermind: again, you guys are paddling as hard as you can *toward* the waterfall. Why? I’m sure she could put a diabolical plan together,  but she has been rather preoccupied to say the least. She has contributed game content and nobody has been pinged by what she’s posted. Why can’t this be exactly what it looks like? I’m done with this topic as well. 
 

Turin as a Commuter: maybe? Does it matter? Turin, you’ve been all over the place to the extent that if you are the deep wolf mastermind who’s going to take us all for a ride, well played. But I think you’re just a confused Townie. I’m completely done with this topic.  
 

As far as my slot goes, you have no reason to doubt what I’ve claimed, especially in light of N2 having no NK.

Turin breadcrumbs his role has always rubbed me the wrong way.  If I'm a hider or a commuter or absolutely anything that protects me at night, I'm not announcing it for no reason.  Reason? Because by alerting the masses for the doc not to protect him, he's giving the mafia team a heads up and almost guaranteeing they don't target him.  You should want them to target you at night, that means there is a possibility of 1) saving another townie and 2) helping town numbers by having no NK.  I dont see that as the reason there was no NK (although with everything that has been claimed, I dont think we can figure out why there was no NK unless someone slips.) I just dont understand giving away the advantage of a hider type role.

Man, you need to let that go.  I'm not saying that saying you're town is not town.  I just thought it was odd that Darthe's very first post was an "ahhh I'm town" (not verbatim).  It pinged for me as something that was just an odd first statement.  That and his "let's take it slow" remark then voting were the two things that stood out the most to me about Darthe. Although I would like to state for the record that Darthe announcing he was town, was in fact, not town. Nananabooboo 😛

 

I am Vanilla Town.  Idk what it's like to mod, but I can imagine it's pretty difficult to balance a game out perfectly.  With that being said, so far we've seen the roles of 2 of the mafia.  1 was a 50/50 bus driver? I'll check the OP to make sure and a goon.  How many roles would it make sense for town to have? That's a genuine question because as I said, I'm no mod.

Seeing as SD was a talentless goon, it makes me feel better about Dice.  It made sense for him to switch from one scummate to another (if he's scum) Only if the former had a better role.  Or at least, that's how I see it.  

 

I hate that I dont know game mechanics from a mods point of view.  It would help make more sense of is it logical to give town a 1x role just cause the cop fecked it all up.

I'm just trying to cover all the angles. Hopefully something will shakes loose logically. If the only thing is one of us is mafia and lying, and the only way to tell is to eliminate them, we have nothing but hunches to go on. There is no reason for the last wolf to do anything that would stand out any more. Maybe this was the wolf endgame all along, but it seems odd to rely on luck. If Sinister had flipped goon, would not make it much more likely that he had "misunderstood the rules" to save a better role? So Dice getting Darthe to flip increases the WIFOM and makes it more likely SD would be blocked. Which may be why the other mafia handed in the NK. Which aligns with Dice. Or me, but in that case you can eliminate one and shoot the other.

If DPR is lying. He was pushing for people to claim roles so he would know who to "block". I'd still get no result. DPR holsters or tries to kill Turin. He doesn't kill Ed as as long as DPR is core town Ed just helps thin the herd out quicker. He choses Turin as he is the one most after Dice. Is the interaction with Darthe "no Wes doesn't make those mistakes" distancing. It felt a bit forced to me. 

 

But again, no way of resolving outside of checking the pockets of a dead pirate. 

 

Sighs. It really looks like anyone lying has no impact on anything else. Except for Ed where we need another explanation of Teph's death.

Sure. There are always other possibilities. You can WIFOM those all day long but to what end? There is no way to answer those questions - there never is. 
 

How did the mod set the game up? 

Why did player X do what they did?

What if (insert conspiracy here)?

 

We’ll find out in the end but not before. 
 

Why not focus on what we do have, which is the connections between Darthe,SD and you or dice lol
