My philosophy on playing is everyone is town until a reason is given otherwise, especially D1:

 

On this, I was a bit bothered in the beginning of the game when on Peace's 2nd or 3rd post put a 3rd vote on SD with no reasoning at that time.  Given, an explanation was explained later about the spam, lack of content etc.. but it was obvious it was just fun loving spam at the time, nothing to be taken serious.

 

The whole bussing thing really threw me off, just...why?  Hard to really go into AI, but the wanting to force a vote with 24 hours left kinda felt sus.

 

Heavy is being Heavy to me at this point.  Maybe the whole discussion between Heavy & GK could have been distancing, especially since not game topic related, guess we'll see..

 

GK started the game feeling strong town to me, but the back and forth with Heavy makes me wonder a bit

Though yeah apparently returning to the game isn't an option then. I'd call this distraction more than faffing about when the thread opens. those aren't good responses though, Heavy got really bent out of shape over the new player discussion which he then completely forgets about in those posts you provided not to mention none of that is really gameplay related. And that third post made absolutely no sense, I never said anything about lynch/elimination, my original post that that is referring to was a statement about how this is not a nice game, sure it may have been after Teph clarified why he used lunch over lynch, but I was talking about the game as a whole, otherwise why would I have tagged Heavy there.

I think Heavy has had some quality posts. He’s certainly got off track a couple of times but he is participating in a real way.

My opinion on spam and non scum hunting posts is that they lead me to believe spammers are trying to make it harder, not easier to scumhunt.  It makes the eyes glaze over when trying to catch up on several pages or even hunt down things you are trying to remember and share.  

It is most definitely anti-town behavior.

Fwiw I didn’t consider DPRs post very impactful in my read of you (though good for my read of him, it’s trackable)… but this post is mildly alarming.  It’s the “good for future days” part, why isn’t !townpeace in the moment?  That one’s rhetorical, but peace is like to resolve understanding why you think votes, even one like the EP sarcastic vote, are going to be useful if your push for them is tainting the data?  Explain that like I’m 5 please.

I think this tracks with your performance in other games - and I have a town read on you - but I’ve gotta tell you your fundamental understanding of the game and overconfidence in it are wildly harmful to any team you’re on.  This is your best post because it’s dispassionate so I can at least follow where your head is at.  We’re I not trying to win I’d probably advocate lynching you and maybe teph (still might there he’s semi-wolfy) just to not have to deal with how much harder you’re both gonna make the game.

that’s your opinion. I think their good posts but I’m probably looking at it differently then you. I’m basing it off my experience with heavy plus what I generally like to see in posts

What they're doing is coming off as scum hunting, but scum hunting doesn't always = town.

I see scum hunting going on, but that in itself doesn't make one town. 

I see him hounding people, much like DPR hounds people on some random detail, and he'll keep coming back to it page after page. (If I'm exaggerating, sorry that's just me exaggerating, not a purposeful misrep).

I don't know enough about GK's personality or play style to tell if this is just who he is, or if this is how he plays as town or as wolf, or if he plays the same regardless.

I'm getting the exact same Town vibe out of him as last game. I've been around heavy enough to just know what y'all are seeing as sus... Well this is just Heavy. People have different play styles, different personalities, etc, that aren't going to fit the meta of what you're used to, and I think that's what's tripping y'all up here.

 

I think if you want to legit catch a wolf Heavy, focus on something that's not these dumb arguments that don't matter to the game.

 

My advice for Heavy, pick your battles.

When playing Mafia, think of it like getting pulled over by the po po. Sometimes you're better off playing dumb then telling them you were going 45 on a 40. 😛
