Hey folks, would love to get a few more but I'ma say we need to do it within the next day or two.  My hope is to start the game with a 72 hour D1 on Friday.  We do technically have enough to start, but this setup is very easy to expand.

This game will have an open setup. As you sign up for the game, please vote on which setup you prefer. Setups are subject to minor changes if anyone points out glaring reasons they don't work.  These are meant to be fast, lighthearted games. 

 

Setup 1, Everyone Wins (except those who don't):

12 jesters with 1x vig shots & 1x activated BPVs. 

1 Cult leader 

 

The cult leader has a restriction: Every time they target a player another player randomly becomes immune to cult conversions, and is not notified of it.  The cult leader converts a back-up cult leader at on D0 who will inherit their powers if they die.  This does trigger making another player recruit immune.
Jesters have two abilities.  They may choose one or the other, but not both, in the same night.

 

Setup 2, Too Evil:

2 town role cops

1 town role-blocker

2 town masons

5 town 1x vigilantes

 

Each Evil leader may choose nightly between a recurring recruit, or a 1x nexus.  Evil leaders cannot be converted by one another.  Recruits lose all abilities when recruited and die if recruited by the other team. 

Role cops will see "masn/rb/vigilante" respectively for town and "recruit" for recruiters, and "Evil Leader" for Evil Leaders.  They are effectively cops who can also distinguish between a cultist and cult leader.  The message provided to them will only indicate a result, and not reiterate the target of the result. 

 

Setup 3, Move Fast and Break Things

3x Jesters

5 town 1x vigilante's

1 town banner-man

1 town cop/banner-man combo (picks between the two each night)

 

Banner-men cannot be recruited. The cult leader selects a back-up cult leader at the start of the game and converts them at game start. The back-up will take the cult leader's abilities if-and-only-if the cult leader is lynched day 1.

 

Jesters may protect themselves from night actions 1x per game on the night of their choosing. This affects bullets, peeks, and conversions.

 

Setup 4, 90's Action Hero Mafia

1 Mafia Godfather

1 Mafia Roleblocker

 

1 3p Condemner, converts to SK if target dies by another hand.

 

1 Town Cop (receives town or not-town)

1 Town Doctor (can't self-protect)

1 Town Hider

4 Town Vanilla

 

 

Town Wincon: Town wins when there are no remaining non-town players.

Cult Wincon: Cult wins when the number of living players in the cult equal or outnumber the living players not in the cult.

Jester Wincon: Jesters win by getting yourself lynched or surviving until no members of another alignment live. This does mean jesters can function as a defacto (but separate) team.

Mafia Wincon: Mafia wins when they reach parity or majority with the living players.  In a 1v1 where two players represent opposing factions and have lethal abilities to destroy the other, mafia wins the tie-breaker.

Serial-Killer Wincon: Serial Killers win by eliminating all opposition and making it to the end of the game alive.

Condemner Wincon: Condemners win by eliminating a specific character a player represents in the game.  If the condemner is successful they'll be removed from the game and the game will continue.
