I think maybe a season and change - bringing her back at the end of S5 would seem about right.

It may have been mentioned somewhere in these forums but a couple of weeks ago Amazon fired Jennifer Salke, who was the head of their film division.  I would imaging this puts most of their project under the microscope and could lead to a delay in any green lighting.

Season 2 showed they don't want to be without Rosamund Pike for too long, I can't see them going too long without her or bringing her back in some way in dreams etc.  Unless maybe she had another commitment, They added stuff in season 2 for her so I just can't see her having a long absence.

There’s an ocean of difference between sidelining her for all most of season 2 and having her take a couple of season hiatus.

I do discount it. I just find these types of comments tired and unfunny.

Force ghost might be a bit much.  We just saw them bring in Ishy for a cameo in season 3, I don't think it would be too big of a jump to think there might be Moraine cameos.  Either dream world or people like Lan remembering things.

I had the idea that you could keep Rosamund in the show by having her become a figment of Rand's Madness.  Can you imagine Rand doing something really bad and we see from his point of view, Moiraine sitting and watching and shaking her head.  Or having her taunt him at times of wielding the power. etc.... 

 

I also thought they would use Alexander Karim int he same way to represent the literally voice of Lews Therin.

Well I am seriously hoping that they look at the fact that episode 4 was clearly the best received in this season if not the entire series and change course. Outside this I hope the show is cancelled as it is not good enough to warrant continuing.

They could make her a hero of the horn.  They already did it with Uno.  She could have something like Birgitte’s arc where she’s brought into this world and continues to “mentor” Rand.

Cos I thought that was supposed to be a natural amphitheatre of stone.

 

If Alcair Dal is a Stone slab surround by sand dunes then I'm gonna be puzzled, cos shifting loose sand is a sound muffler and not an acoustic wonder.

 

Plus all the sweeping off of the sand that I mentioned before.

That is something Lanfear should be aware of, though, so anything that happens there shouldn’t come as a surprise to her at all.

There's nothing particularly that Moiraine needs to do later that cannot be achieved by giving it to another character. So there's nothing really preventing her leaving the series altogether next week. I hope she will be back, but if not, then not.

 

I'm just hoping with everything I have for a greenlight. Regardless of show/book variations, I'm enjoying the show immensely, just as I did the books.

Not sure how reliable it is, though. Those involved had always been optimistic

If Josha doesn't announce something at the Con he's appearing at this weekend in Europe, Amazon is holding its Upfronts presentation on May 12th, which would be, in my mind, the absolute latest we'd hear something one way or another.
