I'm sure it's obvious by now, but I don't really do vibes based, I like taking the concrete info we have (Flips, cops, watches, etc) and then looking back through what was said and how people acted with that information in mind.

I'm not fully prepared to call RTE or Lenlo villagers but I don't want to kill them at this moment.

 

Cairos was bugging me for a reason that I know upsets him and others have already called out, but reading people on how they handle their inability to participate due to IRL obligations is a thing we all have to do sometimes.  I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and allow him space to play, but he's on my radar.

I know I can't just convince you all i'm town because i'm nice! or because zander says he's in my pocket. but ask yourself this, what have i done to behave wolfy at all? I'm ok with being the sacrifice if it leads to others' success but if i am (lynched or nk'd) and i flip town remember some of the points i've made or the questions i asked people. 

My feels have shifted a bit in the last couple hours. 

not 100% on cairos, cass, heavy or dice to be honest. starting to feel like verbal, lenlo, rte and shad has 1 at best wolf if any, keep forgetting about turin this game because he's been much quieter but i still feel he's town.

pretty sure zander is town or a fantastic actor

Yeah I mean

 

You bleed new to the game all over and sometimes you say things that strike me as wolfy in the moment, but then I reflect on how I think someone who has those takes as either alignment would play their first wolf rand and I go right back to feeling comfortable with you.  We'll see where things go down the road but you're still in my village pile for now.

I noticed myself pop up in the top posters section and it reminded me of something I really like about this forum layout for Werewolf.

 

I like that we can't track every player's post count.

 

I can't stand post count reads.  They're so cheap.  They invite spam.  Wolves have to and villagers feel obligated to post more to live up to other players' expectations, and the standard raises with every generation as people constantly try to out-post each other, and suddenly oh you had less than 100 posts in a day phase makes you a suspect no matter what you've had to say, while half the people around you have said nothing at all but hit that sweet untouchable spot of 300 post per day average.  Ugh.

 

I'm glad it's not visible here.  Being forced to ignore post count is good for the game.

Counter point, what have you done to behave town at all? Like I'll give you the benefit of the doubt for now, not because I trust you but because other people I have town reads on like Shad appear content to do so,.

Imo? They talk less about themselves and more about other people. They look into what people are saying and why they could be saying it, they aren't terribly concerned with their own lives (Unless they have a role, but don't tell anyone you have that because it makes you a target for wolves to shoot) over finding wolves, etc etc. Basically, a town looks to understand and solve, a wolf looks to survive and fit in, most of the time. Exceptions prove the rule, yadda yadda

1. Shad. I think his process is pure. I don't always understand what he says but I find myself nodding in agreement  most of the time.

Willing to lynch. (Not in order)

1. Zander Dice. That thing with our interactions is bugging me more and more. It feels like using his "special skill" to slide by taking a stance where it isn't warranted. Tbh, I don't really remember him reading me all that great. 

2. RTE.  The vig thing was bad.  The policy lynch thing was worse. The only positive thing I remember from him is his stopping any attempts at away Dice lynching from happening. 

3. Cairos.  Just not enough from him. I'm nowt really a meta guy, like at all, but I just saw him not really post many thoughts as mafia last game. I want to see more thoughts, take a stance.

Turin it seems you have misinterpreted my question. I wasnt asking about the interactions between you and Zander.

 

You made a comment that it was too early for Len to get a T/T read on Zander.

 

What I was asking is would you have that same opinion if it was ME making that T/T and not Lenlo? 

 

And the purpose is to understand your thinking there. Is it just a hardline way of thinking for you that applies to everyone? Does it change depending on who is doing it?

It was your comparision.  Dont sus me for questioning when you compare your style to mine considering the experience difference. It was all to do with understanding why you think we are alike. Not about alignments.

You don't even have any votes on you so seems a bit dramatic with talking about being sacrificed. Also yes naming almost half the players in the game certainly should have one wolf in there 😂 I would say just try to appear genuine and ask good questions and describe how your reads change when they do.

Actually you used go be able to do that on DM but appears you can't anymore. I don't completely disagree with you but did reveal when people were taking the piss with way too few posts by say Day 6

Gud is obviously lovely, but can anyone really differentiate between a new player coming into her own in confidence and imprinting her personality on the thread, and a new player being asked in wolf chat "so what were you like last game? Totally cute? Run with that, don't be too quiet".

 

I think Gud's tone is fine, if maybe a little defensive. Leaning towards Town, but fairly null read for me.

 

Everyone seems to be back tracking on their suspicions, making excuses for everyone, generally leaving me confused. 

 

Shad seems town, Turin seems more relaxed, so hopefully more accurate. Don't like RTE's posting and his interactions with Lenlo. Don't like Verbal's tone, or the way he was taking the "leader of the town" position by assigning lynch targets and PR targets, rather on the low key, totally sensible advice. Zander seems to have calmed down. Cass? I feel like someone is asking me to rate her artistic ability then showing me a video of her shoving crayons up her nose. I mean, sure why not? Definitely town or mafia. Probably. Cairos is a hard working nurse and probably has a cute uniform, null read, real life seems plausible, especially combined with the questions he has been asking. Dice appears as grumpy and taciturn as ever. Guess is town? Doesn't seem to have the "this person is mafia and I will die on this hill" that he did last game. Which could be down to better camouflaged wolves, I suppose.

 

All my suspicions are weak sauce. Willing to lynch at this point, RTE, Verbal and Lenlo, roughly in that order of priority. I'm sure my opinions will wildly fluctuate over the next 24 hours if last game is anything to go by.
