This phase it feels like it, but that’s maybe cause I’ve been talking to Lenlo for ~48 hours. And no, I don’t need you to update me. You’re not the only one with a work/home life.

 

You made a point about meta, and I corrected you. If I saw you doing things that I’ve nailed you for as scum, don’t you think I would call you on it? Aside from you being too lenient with Nyn here, I don’t think you’re scum.

But have you read my previous stuff wrt Kat? If so you would've noted that I also commented that Kat voted Dice when she was lightly in his PoE also? 

 

I think there's another difference here fwiw, because at the time Dice was heavily pushing Nyn and simply mentioned Kat really needed to step up. 

 

The only response my Kat thoughts got from you was "Will you vote Nyn" and this seems unsettling - IIRC the Town!AJ from the previous game we were in commented on a wider range of players in our later stages, I'm pretty sure, and gave thoughts after cases/ISOs like that were laid out?

I want you to rethink that question a bit and I’m pretty sure you’ll find your answer. Why would I look at a low impact Nyn differently than a low impact Kat? You like talking about meta so I’m sure you can figure that out for yourself. I’m not saying it’s a good sign, but really.

 

also If you go back to that post you’re talking about and read it from the POV of someone not in your head, I think you’ll see why I asked. The language is almost ~positive about Kat. You talked about her being consistent and how her progression on some reads were “~ok”. So yeah, I assumed and was cutting to the chase with what you were getting at when I asked my question.

Kk, I hadn't looked at it from that PoV but can appreciate that take, though. FWIW the main feeling was nothing but the Dice vote to put her above null/possi-scum for me at that point. 

 

I would kind of still hope/expect Town AJ to reply summarise/comment explicitly with his thoughts on Kat herself at some point also.

Yesterday I think it was more a matter of trusting Dice over you/being back and forth between you-AJ.

 

At least for me. I also had pause on your tone/feeling off about your post and your-AJ thunderdome out of the gate.

Yesterday there was also a lot of support for a Nyn lynch, which is part of what got Dice elected IMO - and part of what makes Nyn feel like a LHF/Scum-pushed train.

Ok, have read up on Kat in both the game we last played where she was Scum (Tarmon Gaidon) and her last game here (GoT Mafia).

 

Tldr I'm stronger on my Scum lean on her here.

 

 

In the Town!Kat game, she still has fluff/fun/tinfoil, but her entire outlook/mood is different

Focuses more on:

- Questioning people

- Offering opinions/reads

- Pushing people, even for things like wording

- Discussing set-up theory etc

 

 

Even though she mentions her dislike of D1 etc, she quickly moves past it and overall she just feels more enthusiastic and hunty and involved.

 

 

I see a lot of similarities between the Scum!Kat game and here:

Heavy focus on:

- posts/comments addressed to her

- lamenting a lack of reads

- disliking D1 /disliking the set-up of the game

- ATE when pressured

So these are my thoughts right now. The greens are the ones I feel either sure (or as sure as I can be without full confirmation) are town. Honestly 2 besides myself on d2 is amazing for me lol The blues are the ones I want to say are probably not Mafia. I'd even say that Iron/Marsh is most likely town. The more I think about it, it would have been extremely foolhardy for him to claim the kill on Kaylee as anything other than Vig. Same with Tress. Makes the most sense for her to claim what she did as Town, though would be a good way to throw suspicion off of her if she was Mafia and it just made her a goon... But i'm gonna go with she's probably town for now. 

 

From the rest of my list of the people I'm just not sure about, I would not want to lynch Cory or Dice today. Probably. I want to think they're not mafia... not sure they're not SK or something else though.

 

The rest... I do'nt know who I REALLY want to lynch out of the group. A lot of it will depend on what happens with Krak and BFG and how involved they start getting and how I feel about them once they do. 

 

Having a hard time reading Beads and IllianTear. I think mostly because they're new. I'm not sure how much of their stuff I'm reading that I think reads kinda scummy is really scummy and how much is just inexperience with forum based mafia. I don't want to jump to conclusions on them, but UGH. If i had to vote one right now I'd have to vote IllianTear. Beads does seem to be more solvey.

The harry potter one, but that shouldn't count because I was a sub and when I came in I was already under suspicion so i didn't play my best game... And that's the only scum PM I saw. I thought there was another but I can't remember what it was. it was farther back.. Zander what was the one I played with AJ and we were scum? It was the one with 2 scum teams. Zass (Zander/Cass) - It's hard for me to imagine Zander as anything but town from his play so far. Of course that could just be because I wanna sheep him *shrugs* 

 

Hallia - I want to see more from. She does seem towny from what she's posted, but I know from experience she's good at appearing towny d1 as scum. So Town lean but that's about it. 

 

WIfi - seems her usual self. This is reassuring after the last game she came in and at first didn't know how to act, which for me was a bigger give away than most took it as. Most likely she's town here. Though the last game could have just taught her how to fake it better lol 

 

And it goes downhill from here lol. 

 

Darthe I'm just not sure about. I always have a hard time reading him though, mostly I think because he's slightly..... abrasive? That word will work.. *shrugs* 

 

Shad - Seems slightly defensive, but I've seen him do that as town so idk. It'd be an easy thing to do as scum to though so he's mostly null. 

 

Nolder - meh. He came in seemed to pick a bit of a fight and then said he was gonna put someone on ignore and I haven't seen a lot more out of him. Maybe he accidentally put the whole thread on ignore?? lol idk. 

 

Marsh - I don't think i'll ever be able to read him on D1. Or maybe ever... Both games I've played with him he's looked fairly similar and seemed scum, but last game I know he was town so maybe i'm just reading him wrong. 

 

Hellian - I don't know. He's new so I don't know how to take him yet. I'm currently reserving judgement because I think some of his stuff that "seems" scummy could just be from him being new and not knowing people and not knowing how to take different people, but could come from scum.

Since it's zander... yes I did... And nothing particularly towny no... *shrugs* but I don't see anything that yells scum either. But it was one time, so I don't get the "he keeps doing it repeatedly" vibe he's getting off but I think that could be from frustration. But it could be scum angry because he thinks you're on to him. Dice - I have a hard time reading. I think he's town. But sometimes some stuff he says just makes me want to facepalm lol. And I don't know if that makes him more likely town or scum, but he wouldn't be in my wtl right now...

Pral - been completely inactive, which is an easy place for the scum to hide. please check John and Hellian. I mean D1 both of them were practically non existant. I could totally see a scum in that situation laying low if they aren't being sussed and only putting in enough effort to not get modkilled and to stave off policy lynches. Especially if I'm already known to have a low post count like pral. 

 

Darthe - I always have a HORRIBLE time reading darthe because he always sounds abrasive and defensive to me. but his vote on me for raisens earlier combined with the fact that he won't even ISO me to find another reasoning for his vote bothers me a lot. I mean I understand Zander's vote on me (sort of) but the Darthe vote on me with no reasoning besides "i don't wanna die" is horrible. 

 

Believer - I still hold to my case that he's scum.I thought so D1 and I continue to think so. He has done very little in this thread today besides complain about how everyone is sussing him. He's not scum hunting now. He's whining because he's being suspected. And how in the world can anyone say what he'd do as scum and if he'd buss or anything else if it is as he said and he's never randed wolf before? He was very good in the disney game. I think it's a distinct possibility he is fooling ya'll.
