Marsh I also feel is not Mafia. Very possibly the SK, but I don't think there's anyway that he comes out and claims to kill Kaylee as scum. And really his claim makes me think he's probably what he says he is. Probably... 

 

 

I'm less sure about Socio than ya'll. I understand what you're saying but I don't know if Hoof is one who would bus a teammate. I've seen crazier things. But that could just be tinfoil.. idk... ugh.

i kinda do agree with this too. Dice is normally more belligerent as town. Like to the point that it makes me question if he's really town lol But I don't know that this is his mafia game either. I'm not sure what to think of him.

The other one who had struck me as off was Dice. I do believe that Marsh isn't Mafia, but he could very well be 3rd party. If anyone is, he seems a good bet. I could also readily believe he is exactly who he says he is.

Also, sorry for doubting you, Hallia. I am sometimes a bit too over-zealous in my personal hunt. On the plus side, you're the least of the threats to the scum now that you are a confirmed vanilla town. I mean, pretty much everyone else is far more dangerous than you at this point.

I think equating Blackhoof voting Socio to Socio being townspewed by Blackhoof is really foolhardy

Blackhoof wasn't even around when Socio became a real wagon

Wolves vote other wolves like, all the time, especially early in games, especially when it's most irrelevant bceause they wanna 'look good' later on

I'm not super familiar with Blackhoof as a player, but from what I know I wouldn't think at all he's someone who wouldnt vote a partner in the early game

Trying to sort through thoughts in my head this morning before work, but my cat is making it difficult. He's a majestic mini-panther solid black kitty, and prefers to be indoor-outdoor, but today is Halloween and for his own safety i keep him locked inside from bedtime on October 30th until I get up in the morning November 1st.   

 

He started about 5:00AM this morning with yelling at me periodically to draw my attention to the closed pet door.  Now it has degenerated to piteous meowing every 3.5 seconds, which only gets worse if I respond to him.  It makes it very hard to concentrate.

 

It may take me a while to draw conclusions but I'm going to try to put my thoughts out there as much as possible, starting with this:

 

9. Hallia - Mod confirmed innocent child
12. Darthe - Town per Nyn peek

 

10. Marsh - claimed vigilante (potential SK equity but with the Hoof kill unclaimed, is at least more believable than not... and AJ has a great point in that claiming vig as SK is a great way to get shot by the actual vig)

 

Which leaves probably 3 mafia and an SK in this group:

Illian Tear, Krak and BFG haven't really given enough info to know what to think of them just now and all of us need more from all 3 slots, so yeah.  Do that thing today, people.  

 

Beads I kinda want to trust.  He's said some things that have made me wonder if he's crafty scum, but I'm leaning toward town getting used to a new mode of gameplay with mostly new people.  I have another reason for tentatively wanting to trust him but that's not discussable and falls under the possible craftiness as scum WIFOM if I think about it too much.

 

Socio has a few arguments for being town, unless Dice's mod-gaming exercise was a colossal red herring and Hoof really was preemptively bussing a teammate.  I suppose he could be 3p also, but that might just be his screen name making me wary on that front.

 

I know I've gotten worse at reading Dice, and I want to trust Dice.   I kinda think this is Town!Dice, and I've proven to myself that just because i'm not 100% sure doesn't mean he ISN'T town, so I shouldn't let my doubt make me doubt more.   Again with the mod-gaming thing, but when I realized what he was getting at suggesting Kat might be clear because she was in the QT with him, Hoof and Kaylee, my first thought was "what are the chances all of them BUT Kaylee were mafia?  DPR put 2 mafia with a town in a 3 person QT in Suras Blades..."   But that's seriously tinfoil territory and I do think an even mafia distribution by the mods is somewhat more likely, unless they random.org'd the QT composition entirely.  So I probably should trust Dice.  Probably.

 

I'm marginally weirded out by the fact that Kat actually voted D1, since my recollection of her most games is that she doesn't feel like she has a good enough handle on the game to even venture that much, and her vote wasn't actually needed to achieve a lynch.  Just a little niggling worry.  She's definitely demonstrated the indecision I expect from her as town early game, and I'm kinda right there with her on the rampant tinfoil until we can pin down the D1 Inactive Crew.

 

Because unless all 3 of the D1 inactives were non-town, I'm afraid either Cory or AJ might be non-town (Light, please don't let it be both!) and I'm pretty sure I won't be able to tell.  

 

My plan for tonight after work is to comb back through D1 and look at things a little harder, make some notes and whatnot.

 

In the meantime, I'll be hoping for some decent content from Illian, Krak and BFG.

I'm trying to remember the few games I played with Hoof.  He tends to die far too early in games to have much of a history as I recall.  My first ever game, we were mafia teammates, but he hammered the bomb on D1 and blew himself up.

 

But yeah, that should be taken into consideration.

The thing is that confirmed town a lot of time end up deaded because they are a liability at the lynch. It's a person that they CAN'T get a mislynch on and a person for town to build off of. They don't want to leave them too late in the game.
