I thought she hadn't said something, she did, my DM experienced made it all wonky and I missed it, I've read what she's written in response, she seems a touch defensive, but that in itself isn't odd considering she had in fact responded to what I'd asked.  I don't get the dice read still; I don't see him as doing solving things

My process with Dice is it's easier to read him later game. Early game I tend to go with a "innocent until proven guilty" with everyone really. I look for things that stand out. For him, to me, when he's scum he comes across more forced. I don't see that here. I have him as a half green in terms of color. AJ and Cory are higher.

I don't have problem with him thus far. Gth I'd say Town but I wouldn't say he hasn't done anything yet that he couldn't replicate

 

anyway, I'm done with my assignment so now it's time for sleep

yeah it sounded off to me too. Sociopath has been a tad defensive so far, and that pings to me.

I like the thought you're putting into it and you trying to solve but I don't really agree with your points.

 

Marsh's b point sounds more of a disgruntled comment than a haha comment. I don't know the history behind it but I assume he was nailed over his first post as scum in a previous game. Him bringing it up that way feels more like a reminiscence of a feeling rather than related to this game.

 

irt sociopath, it bugs me when people use defensiveness as an indication of scumminess. I get plenty defensive in pretty much every game I play in. I think it's even fair to say I get more defensive as town. It's a really old school indiciator that fails more often than not. Now I don't have any meta knowledge on socio, so maybe you're hitting the mark there and generally speaking it's not a bad place to start... but I'm not rushing to any conclusions based on it.

Actually I will add a correction. If the proportion of the defensiveness doesn't suit the situation, that could certainly ping me.... cause it would feel more like a "freak out" but in this instance I don't think that happened at all.
