First of all: This week is in fact two very short weeks with a one-day weekend in between.

Second of all: I don't know how to tell the difference between a woman being friendly and a woman who knows I'm interested in her and is trying to encourage me.

Third of all: I'm catching up.

Finally: I'm throwing a preliminary town read on the three or four people (whose names I will have to check because I don't remember who did this) that started moving on to analysis back on like page 4. Less fluff day 1 = more informed lynch day 1 = better for town.

That's all for a little while. I'm at work so won't be able to read super quickly but will be on and posting during my breaks and lunch.

Z stop encouraging the Penguin with fluff.

Penguin stop encouraging Z with fluff.

The uncle-father thing is getting weird.

I am going to handle the Penguins slot by not trusting him whatsoever

I can follow instructions

Well you would be following my username *shrug*

Anyway, if people don't want to trust me that's up to them. I'm still going to try and figure them out in my own way. I wanted to see what would happen with my vote and @Darthe moved to me. So assuming he's serious(?) with that, I'm guessing that means he town reads Leelou now and scum reads me(?)

I would have accepted a tongue sticking out emote tbh

Penguin some baseline stuff if you feel like answering? :)

What's your preferred alignment?
What do you think your best quality as a villager is?
What do you think your best quality as a wolf is?

But I am happy that it has given something to talk about. That's what I was hoping for :p (<just for you lol)

I don't know, I do think it makes you look a little Wolfy.

Sure.

1. Difficult because I see things that I like in each alignment. Like personally I like the idea of doing what I want and also helping out as Town, and the idea of having a team as a wolf. I probably say that while I like mafia, I do prefer Town nowadays (when I first started, I would have said scum though)

2. 3. I don't really know tbh. Liz always shouts at me for saying things like this but I don't know what my best qualities would be because I really think I'm still learning ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think I've been told I can work with Town when I'm comfortable with my town reads as Town(which usually comes a bit later tbf) and as a wolf fake emotion(?) Idrk sorry it's a bit Vegemite.

Like I said, I can link games for reference if people want to look for themselves, because even good self meta is self meta at the end of the day...

My post or my vote?

I don't know if you saw my question with the failed mention, but I've explained my reasons but you haven't got back to it. I'll give the Botd that you missed it:

Are you town reading Leelow?

Thanks but it seemed not to work with Darthe

you have a team as town, too! you just have to find them :P

Yup I know and that's what I mean about when I feel comfortable.

The worst Town games are when I struggle to get in that state tbh so have too many scumreads for example. The best ones are when I get in and asap.

Like I said, I do think I'm still learning in some cases and offsiting will definitely be a new learning curve for me, but yeah, comfort zones, stepping out, yadda yadda.

learning new things is how we all grow [and other cliches]!

i think that's a good approach, and this is a great forum to play on iyam (ok the forum software sucks now but the player base is amazing) so i think you will do just fine :P

anything catch your eye so far in particular so far?

re: early town reads in DM games, reading your convo /w aj currently

DM games tend to be more gameplay-focused (my trashposting aside wink wink), so its not uncommon to have players make very quick reads, but typically they are thin and more about "trying to get a handle on the game" more than "this is my read forever and im not going to abandon it"

obviously they still deserve scrutiny. but it's pretty commonplace
