Ode to the Infantry Brew

 

Curious I was of this said drink

Brewed from a loincloth, colored pink

Most Banders pour it down the sink

Else they be dancing with Jak o' The Shadows

 

So I decided on a quest

To put this Infant drink to test

And let my curiousity rest

About this drink of Jak o' The Shadows

 

So off I went to offer this brew

To Infantrymen, I'm sure they'd do!

I was mistaken as they all flew

They'd rather dance with Jak o' The Shadows

 

An Archer was the next I spied

"A drink to beat all drinks", I lied

He took a sniff and then he cried

"I'd rather dance with Jak o' The Shadows"

 

At last a cav, off for a ride

So sure that I won't be denied

So wrong was I as he replied

"I'd rather dance with Jak o' The Shadows"

 

Running out of who to trap

A passing new raw recruit I stopped

He drank it all and then he dropped

He danced with Jak o' The Shadows

After that I made a pun,

And then I did run

They sailed for days the Great Wide Blue.

Battled storms and Seanchan too,

In Illian they found Yellowbeards crew

On the fabled Shipwreck Isle,

Kidnapped Ladies played all the while.

Riva watched with a mile wide smile.

Twin met Muffy and the Grand Wazoo..

Tay, Brid, Kris n' Lani, they played too.

Riva may be in a pot o' stew,

Spacey, Ash, Froix and the rest

Spread out north , south, east, and west.

Light! Thought Tay, this will be a test

Ash found Riva, takin a bath

Drew his blade , to cut him in half.

Riva smiled, broke into a laugh,

Space found Tay with Brid her Sis

My Dear, says Tay there's naught amiss.

They greeted then with a long Kiss,

Thinks Brid, I'll kiss Jak o' th' Shadow

 

So on the beach they danced and ate.

Then caught the tide fore' it got late,

Into the Blue, through the coral gate,

For home, and a dance with Jak o' th' Shadow.
