It's worth a read through only to solidify his behavior in regard to his interaction with other players vs. motive. 

 

AJ is also very agreeable when Darthe asks him what he thinks about the plan, twice stating that he doesn't agree with the plan but has no issue with Darthe using it for his own purposes. I find this open-mindedness to be in conflict with AJ's suss on my view of Darthe's plan as it seems like since he's OK with both sides of the fence here, he would understand another player poking holes in the plan?

Pushing that Darthe is suspicious because he talked to someone out of the 4 slots and therefore is inconsistent/hypocritical or whatever is junk. Like really bad.

 

I, in no way shape or form, ever took his post to mean that we could only talk to or talk about the first four players listed on the roster. Like how would that even play out lol. I also have a hard time believing this wasn’t obvious and that you took Darthe literally in that we could only talk to/about the first four players on the roster.

Hold up... this is getting weird. You're leaving out the simple concept of "focus". I'm pretty sure everyone understood Darthe to mean that he wanted to narrow the voting pool to the top 4 players, ergo most discussion would revolve around those players. No one ever suggested that there were limits to discussing other players, per say, just the idea that you are not focusing on 1 - 4 if you are spending time on 5 - 9. It's not complicated. 

 

Darthe proposed a plan.

He may or may not have been serious about it - only he can say which. 

Because he's ambiguous, and because he's Darthe (and has done this before...) I find it worthy of discussion.

I point out that if he was serious, he immediately contradicted himself by not following his own suggestion. Seems reasonable enough.

Verdict is still out on *how* serious he is about it, yeah? Again, only he can say.

Conversations swirl around it as conversation will do. We get opinions on Darthe, we get other player's opinions, the game goes on...

But you keep getting hooked on these micro-points?

That's fair.  And I'm not expecting you to have perfect reads.  It was more comment on the fact that you had a read on AJ fairly early last game, even if it was incorrect.  Here you're not really giving a read on him.  I mostly wondered what was different from your POV.

Hooked on micro points is an exaggeration. Your vote and reason for voting Darthe were weak lol. There’s really not much else I have to say about it.

 

I have zero issue with Darthe making reads on slots 5-9 while we discuss whether lynching in slots 1-4 is a good idea. I also don’t think he went out of his way doing this, so the “focus” argument doesn’t really hold water to me.

AJ - darthe full thoughts will have to wait till I'm back. Off the top of my head his read on me seems shallow (but is based primarily on the first few hours of posting) and not backed up with a vote, aggression seems to have dropped off (but may be time zones). Pretty much all my thoughts are this but that which leaves me null overall, mostly I feel better about other people
