1. EP/ Lenlo - Yeah, when I go back to the first 10 pages, I think I can see where they focus on bantering with each other more than with other players. Does it mean they are teamed up? Who knows. But there is this:

Why does a player who hasn't played (much?) in 5 years jump into a advanced game, announce that they haven't played (much?) in 5 years, and then load the game down with "this is how things are" posts, theories and spec? It's happened so much that multiple players have had to caution against speculation vs. factual info, but instead of that slowing EP down, we are now in the middle of a spec storm.

Given my above posts about our limitations in making cases, I just feel like this is an easy way for Mafia to steer the game away from fact based solving. If I'm going to speculate, I'd say that Mod chose to not have a hammer game and set the Day/Night times to enhance this confusion. It's working.

2. BG - Up until he became today's lynch leader, he has contributed a lot of filler but no actual info. Now that he is in the hot seat, he floats the "I have a plan - trust me" angle. Bottom line - he's pinged too many people for it to be a coincidence and he's done nothing to provide any value to the town. He's my top choice for lynch.

3. Kat - Already commented above. She'll show back and say what she's going to say. I'm content to wait for that.

4. 3P vs. Mafia team theories - Bleh. Wish we hadn't gone here. If a player isn't solving, they're not helping. And if they are speculating and needlessly pushing the post count up, that speaks for itself.

My sense is, again, if it was all 3P's, we would have seen more kills last night. I think were looking for people working together.

Point 1: I go heavy speculate in every game I'm in, it's my modus operandi

Vote: BG

For some reason I don't like this post from you so soon after the previous quote.

I have a particular skill at my disposal that should be able to get the alignment of someone at night if circumstances are correct in a verifiable way.

That's my plan and why I hope you can give me one night.

so we're going with the epic mafia version of SK to the end?

Love the vagueness here.

Not gonna lie when I got to these two posts I laughed my arse off

It can't die and is lolcatting.

an undying role is typically town based, a non-town role that "can't die" would be game breaking. It is also negative utility if the person who pulls it is drawing a lot of negative attention. Logically, some kind of downside should be expected with going vote immune.

Non-dying wolves are so common where I come from that mods put in non-dying town as a counterbalance assuming people will policy lynch them.

But sooner or later you have to stop and go "hey if all claims are true and town wtf do the non-towns look like."

Like if a mass claim ends the game 30 seconds in there would be an anti-claim rule (or a claim vig but DM doesn't really do those).

The 2000's called and they want their modus operandi back.

That's because I'm throwing shade at you and you have nothing better to OMGUS me with.

Asks the speculator, lol, like it matters.

We actually agree here.

I'm in blue above.

I don't even mean like "because scum don't have good fake claims"

I mean like the vast majority of things that have been claimed are mechanically provable so if you assume they are all necessarily town you assume the game is broken.

So Kat is unlynchable and kills people who visit her (or try to kill her).

Thats fun. I’d assume these are limited in capacity but it’s also hilarious that the role got to be used accordingly. Bravo

So, I know why I didn't like DPR's back to back posts. He bashes the speculation, but uses it as reason enough to vote BG, I mean it's doing the town a favor, but still not sure I like it.

Here's the thing with BG. BG reads to me like someone who knows there's no where to go but the chopping block because of the pacifist stuff. If we keep him alive we're just going to get stuck with this question of lynch him or not every day. So let's just get him out of the way.

Wording this the best I can, I can definitely say that lynching me will not help Town win the game.

because pacifist is the role that can only vote no lynch, Darthe announced the pacifist is SK. So Not Town. All we know is there are atleast 2 versions of Pacifist one with a recruit ability, one with a kill blocking ability. both versions are labled as third party roles. Why are you protecting a known not town?

Why would the pacifist still be in the game if defeated? Defeated means lost the game, no? It only makes sense if they changed alignment, and I guess that could be to both mafia and town.

Great.

My role is even more useless now.
