I'm not liking the lack of nested quotes. This was BG in response to Arie's vote on Amega and subsequent explanation. BG's line of reasoning here is similar to my own. What's tough to decide is whether to chalk this up to n00bie-ness. Arie, how long have you been playing this game?

A few years, actually. off and on. And i hate defending myself, because I have nothing to hide. I'm answering more because a) spirit of the game and b) as a new to DM player, you'all don't know me well. I stick out like a sore thumb regardless. That I play, and my play style is not one you may be familiar with earns some explination.

 

I may have to look closer on Shad, but I'll admit I have been charmed by Cory. If he trusts Shad_ then I want to trust him too. 

 

Now, A lot of the reasoning I've been holding back on these two specifically is because there was the possibility of a pair of wolves working with each other to gamble the shot of one wolf for the glory of winning the game. (I've seen it done, and successful). Now, my play style is far different then most in this game solely because the last thing I'm used to in a game it the mentality of confirming "you're town" and more "TRUST NO ONE". Which is evident in my hesitation of kaylee's kindness and cory's "luck" in picking out AJ. Now that he's town... it changes that perspective a lot. 

 

Now, Shad is a unique perspective for me. When I play, I watch. What I watch has very very VERY little to do with what people say. It's what they are doing. Shad was questioning things that I was thinking, and doing so better than I. He poked at things in the way I was thinking.. better than I. He questioned Cory too, but he did it in a subtle way that was just better than I. I being a new to you and he being someone who has played with you lot a long time. His "meta" reflects me, so oddly I feel drawn to trust him for it.

 

I will change my mind, and change my story as roles are revealed, but isn't that natural for this type of game? :P

Darthe, are you reading this game at all? If so, you should know that BG is playing instead of Shitsure. What do you mean with statistically?

My guess is that Cory got killed because he is good at this game and because he is a good town leader. 

 

So do you think Amega is mafia? 

 

I really don´t like how you are targeting people that helped kill AJ. There wasn´t "necessary" for any on that train to vote him to just look good.

I don´t like this post either. You have already decided to go for Arie or me and it looks like you are just trying to find a reason for your vote here.

I hope I get to re-read the thread tonight but it looks like the whole family is getting sick so maybe I will have to skip that. Will see how I feel after work. My bottom three is Amega, BG and Darthe. Darthe is there because he hasn´t been here much. He posts even though he doesn´t seem to know what happens in the game. I don´t know if that is true or not but it looks like that to me. 

 

Shad (and others) have pointed Amega and I think they have good reasons. I could definitely vote Amega. 

 

But I will start with voting BG. To me his posts looks like this. "Oh no, my scum buddy is dead and there are too many people that are town reading each other and forming a town core. My goal will have to be to destroy that core. It´s no use to go for Cory or Shad, who are stronger players and that are generally town read, so lets go for Nini or Arie instead. It sounds like I could get others to join me on that wagon." 

 

Of course, my view of this is build on the fact that me, Shad and Arie are town. Arie has been townie, voted a mafia and I don´t think a new player would just bus a team mate right away in her first game. I hope I´m right in this.

Who is this to?  Marsh and I have given reads and i believe Arie did too. You should catch up before asking for things that may have already happened.

I'm confused on you're reasoning. 

 

Darthe is in my WTL, in fact voted me based off of not liking my list and statistics. He's not interested in paying attention to the game. Let's get competing trains.

He is trying to say he wants to see how you process info and adjust your reads so that you're not suck an enigma.

 

Generally you should want to do that too.
