Maybe because they keep pointing at each other.

Nah that's really not effective.  Sure, they're pointing at one another but they haven't really fought.  It's mostly in isolation, without a lot of contact.

I'm not keen on pursuing this too much, I'd rather just figure out who I think is most likely a wolf in some concrete way, but it's worth a thought.

I admit their interactions seem odd, the Marsh BG thing was off too. Idk.

@Darthe

Let's discuss some more since you brought it up:

Scenario 1:
Both BG and Arie are Mafia.
----------
The past two days have been an elaborate distancing plan to play one of us as a deepwolf. One of us gets lynched today, which shows that nothing they have said is reliable. Tomorrow you are still left wondering if the other person is a wolf and thanks to Darthe the town might actually lynch the other and we both go down giving Town an epic win. All hail Darthe!

Scenario 2:
One is Town, one is Mafia.

----------
If town is lynched, lots of pressure on the other the next day. They'd pretty much be risking their entire cover to take out one town's person. The next day there'd be a high chance the mafia would get lynched. If wolf is lynched today, town is now still left wondering if the other is also a wolf (thanks to Darthe's comment) and confusion reigns. Darthe has set up protection for himself tomorrow if a wolf is lynched today.

Scenario 3:

Both are Town.
-----------
One of us is killed as town. "One of them MUST have been a wolf!" cries the town. The other get's killed and game is over.

In summary: If Arie or I flip town, Darthe should be lynched tomorrow.

Most of this was irrelevant, but I'm gonna respond.

Almost all of that was hyperbole, which is exadurated to make something seem stupid.

The most likely scenario where you're both wolves is one where AJs early death screwed you.  Neither of you has looked townie very often this game, so it makes a natural sense to follow the thread which just so happened to point you towards one another.  Sometimes wolfing sucks like that.

My job is to think out these things.  That's what being town means.  Maybe I'm wrong, but if I didn't say it and no one else did either then we would be failing, cause the games all about uncertainty.

Speaking of which, wolf me actively harms himself by making the statement on thread.  If I shut up you both probably die anyhow, so what's the point?

This is where it gets good.  Your last line.  Oh man.  "If Arie or I flip town Darthe should be lynched" on some level implies that you're aware of Aries alignment.  I admit it's a stretch, but I've got something else here that imo ties it together.  Scenario 2.  If one is town and one is mafia then you say I've set myself up as invulnerable so long as we get the wolf, but you ignore if we get the townie.  That is fascinatingly insightful.

You know what? I've reconsidered.

Unvote: Vote Darthe

Scenario 4:

Darthe is scum.

Then you do this, which is weird because I was your top wolf since almost the beginning.  What was there to reconsider?  Nothing at all, but you wanted to lead yourself up to the vote.  It's calculated and its mechanical play.  There's no uncertainty.

I could be wrong on Marsh, but I've a habit of reading him right on my first impression.  I'm pretty accurate so far, so if you've got something on him I need it to be solid before I change my mind.

All I have is what Niniel pointed which is weak. Plus his recent vote and unvote. So basically not much,  more oddness that makes me feel good about where I've placed him.

BG looks really bad for that line about voting you. It's ironic since he first started talking about linking, then does it himself.

The vote and unvote is literally nothing though.  I can't remember what nin pointed out, but I could justify the vote coming from a townie regardless of who the person was in 100% of games.

The day ended quite abruptly when the animals discovered a wildfire raging. They used the opportunity to rid themselves of their new poacher suspect. For sure they would have to have it right this time....right?

All of them chased bgrishinko into the flames and watched them consume him.

Now I need to re-think a lot of things.

I don´t know if it means anything but I thought it was weird that Marsh had to look for if it was okay to unvote or not. I hope I will be able to continue my re-read.
