Okay, caught up atm.

I don't like the Dice/Alf exchange. Dice's questioning of a lack of response on a null D1 vote also raises my eyebrows. (I'm agreeing with Nyn which scares the bejeezus out of me)

It took me a good two hours to read through the exchange (my daughter is in a mood today) but I seem to recall not being bothered by any of Alf's responses.

@Dice- why was it such a big deal to you? Then when he responded you seemed to be beating a dead horse in keeping it going.

Nyn's play is consistent with both roles. I've still not recovered from the game with her, Ed, and DPR being the dream scum team. As I've stated before, she always seems scummy to me so I don't expect to have an actual read on her without more days.

When I first started reading the catch-up posts I was leaning scum on Darthe because he was playing much like he did D1 in the last game but then he picked up in activity. This doesn't clear him in my mind it just has me leaning away from that initial scum read.

I don't think I've seen Killa as scum so I have no comparison to go on. Her not liking her association with Shanti's "townie behavior" has my mind boggled but it doesn't necessarily scream scum just weird.

@Killa-why does the comparison or being related to Shanti bother you?

I'm not influenced one way or another on Cuth just becauae nothing has stood out to me so far.

DPR being busy has me biting my nails because I don't like the thought of him lurking in the shadows.

Someone mentioned my remarking on Shanti's peppiness only to say that her peppiness doesnt really mean anything. I've explained this but will again. I had forgot that she actually did come in that way last game. What I remembered from that game initially was the later play where she came in with good content but wasn't generally present a lot. After that game she expressed a wish to get a scum role. So from that POV her coming in really peppy stood out. Then it was pointed out that she was peppy D1 of that game as well and after I went and checked realized it was true. And her peppiness this game didn't mean so much. I would like to hear from her today.

I like Cass's questioning everything, it stands out as very town due to her actions in recent games. I'm not sure I've played with her as scum though (could be wrong just don't recall) so I'd like to hear from someone that has seen her scum play.

Shad's play seems a lot like those of other town players that take the lead and try to poke everyone. I'm weary of that kind of play becauae it would be so easy for scum to assume that role and lead us in the wrong direction.

Adella is consistent in her last town game play where she seemed pretty busy with rl so I'm gonna give her the benefit of the doubt.

BFG's play has seemed alright up to this point, liking some of the content just wish there were more.

LZM I'm kinda null on atm

Dunno if I've left anyone out and I know it's very noncommittal but that's where everyone is standing in my head atm.

I'm going to attempt to glance back through but not sure how successful I will be with thus child clinging to my leg.

I don't hate this for now.

The only things standing out different to my own thoughts/opinions are

Wrt Darthe - he posted more in that last/his scum game than here. I'm gonna go ahead and say activity itself is probably NAI for him, it's more about what he says and how. Rereading Old West (where he was Town) he makes much/many more direct X player/post is [conclusion] type comments. He's still null-scum for me right now

Wrt Adella, I think there's a difference in her level of bite/hunting/questioning between here and last Town game.

The Shanti-pep thing was me but am happy to leave that alone wrt you for now - where do you actually have Shanti aorn?; and

I thought Darthe was actually very noncommittal last game D1 I could be wrong.

Shanti is coming off to me like she usually does, town, but I am waiting for her catch-up read.

Wrt adella, are you asking why I think she's consistent with last town game? If so, it's because like I said, rl kept her pretty busy so she was just coming in with random posts here and there. It's actually one of the reasons she was easy to Lynch.

Ok for Shanti. I don't hate her recent reads list, could possibly pull her out of WTL today.

 

KK for now wrt Adella, noting that I'm seeing a difference in play style - the random posts she came in with last game involved hunting - questions and direct opinions on things she found suspicious. I haven't seen that here and so you clearing her on being busy feels possi-light to me.

@Tig as I understand it you're saying that low content from Adella is not alignment indicative. Do you have any read on her at this point?

 

Also you'd be surprised how hard it is to replicate my town game. I've never come close lol

LZM has different playstyle than last game and he was town then. Not a lot of content for any of the named. Not sure about reasoning behind Alf, tbh. I didn't see the concern that others do in my ISO, but I could be wrong. Darthe is playing alot like last scum game.

Ok well I've at least read up to where I started posting and my arm's going to fall off from holding Ollie over my laptop this whole time. Darthe hasn't done anything I couldn't see him do as either alignment and he's exactly null.  LZM doing ~nothing in the time he had before his phone died looks worse if still a bleh reason for a D1 lynch, and a part of me could see Adella/LZM w/w.  I'll move my vote if needed.  I still think Alf peacing out looks worse.

The golden bands immediately disappeared from around the imbecile Dack Fayden, and Gideon turned to face the new foe.  From underneath it a host of other monstrosities spawn, crawling out of the ruined ground.  “Get behind me!” he bellowed, flaring his sural behind him.  He readied a series of binding spells to use on the flood of creatures that came pouring out of the earth, sending a silent prayer to the gods that his hieromancy would be enough to hold the sudden surge of enemies.

 

 

He distracted the creatures with a crack of the thongs above their head.  Several of them looked upward, bound immediately by an even more intricate series of light-tethers that appeared from nowhere.  A rush of heat to his left signaled Chandra’s decision to engage.  The hulking nightmare at the head of the Phyrexian band snapped at him, and he leapt out of the path of two heads.  A moment later the ground where he had stood crumpled, flattened by one of its legs.

 

The nearby leylines were being sluggishly awoken, no doubt tapped for mana by his comrades.  In a moment of clarity he realized how much time would be lost if they all stayed to fight this horde.  He reached deep, opening himself up to a surge of white mana and the corruption that saturated this entire world, and though he could feel that taint setting into his very bones he set a seal between the planeswalkers and their source of mana.  “Too much time!  Go while you have the chance!”

 

 

 

One of his companions shouted something at him, but the battle was too intense for him to register things such as complaints.  The drabble in front of him he either lashed away with a lightning whip of his sural or bound and pulled to the ground until they were eviscerated and left as ribbons oozing black oil into the ruined earth.  He fought to keep the thing’s attention as long as he heard shouting; when the shouting ceased he fought to stem the endless tide.

 

He soon registered that his body had countless wounds debilitating him, and there was no end to the sudden influx of Phyrexians.  A trap, then, to catch the unsuspecting, full of innumerable parasites.  He chanced a quick glance behind him to see that he was alone, one man against an endless infection.  A humorless smile took over his face.  If this was an infection, he would be the brand to cauterize it from spreading.

 

Gideon willed the leyline beneath him to reroute, becoming a direct channel of power into him.  The sudden flare wiped tiredness and pain from his body, and he drew in more and even still more mana.  The hieromancy bindings began to flicker and fade, and the Phyrexians surged forward with the titanic horror at the front.  As it roared one last time Gideon gave a true smile.  He prayed that Athreos would grant him passage from this strange world, that he would see his family in Elysium once he had passed the Gate of Erebos.  Then, looking up, he released.

I will say my own fear there Darthe is that you get mis lynched a lot right? Did you get mis lynched in murder mystery. And this situation actually reminds me of ghost in the shell and adam a little so I do worry about it which is one reason he hasn't yet.

I actually ball out, so dont sweat it.

I would really like to see more of response than this. Obviously you don't want to sweat day one votes as we can see. If you look at how the vote might go if me and Kronos added ours to Cass's, it would be you and Alf for the eod trains. So if you are town speak up just a tad here. Any reads you want to share?
