Checking back at the OPs, so far humans and cyborgs are always mentioned as 'vanilla' - so far, both in death and the sample PMs.

 

This suggests to me that maybe only Hackers can have PRs, and if Nin is indeed claiming Human + PR she might be scum.

1) I think this is misdirection on dice's part - we have a pretty good idea that hacking creates QT's because I've done that with Seph and Tigs and dice seem to have one, so I don't know why he'd be confused about it.

 

2) Seph has not mentioned any special Cyborg ability. I did point out that Adam had the Tachikomo robot and we don't know what that did.

 

3) Niniel has claimed Tracker + Human. I don't believe her, but others don't seem to have a problem with her, so that implies that they believe it's possible to have a human tracker.

 

I say flavor is pointless because it always is - it's used as a theme, but not as an actual puzzle solving element.

 

Please please tell me that you understand what I'm saying about this. 

 

There is no way - none - that a mod would clear townies with flavor. Absolutley you should ask our mod to confirm that this is the case. 

 

 

1) Dice will have to come in and answer for himself about misdirection vs confusion, but imo there are hints in Dice's play that he might be Town and it's deep-thinking Town/Too derp a thing to say as Wolf without pressure. LolKarma if I'm wrong, and #needmoarDice but why not give that the benefit of the doubt and let it sort itself out for now? 

 

2) Again, I don't understand why this is even relevant to you/alignments? Especially if you think Seph is Town Cyborg? If you're hinting at something specific it's going over my head. Do you have suspicions about what the Tachikomo robot could be, or is this just distraction?

1) I've had dice as town all game, but today has been weird - no getting around that. The fact that he and Tigs are supposed to have a QT but we can't seem to learn anything more about it is very strange.

 

But, my vote is on Niniel as I think she has the highest chance of being scum.

 

2) You asked the question that this is in answer to, so i don't understand what you are confused over? You'll need to re-phrase it so I get it? 

 

I just pointed out that Seph, who I'm in a QT with, has not talked about any additional role outside of being a cyborg.

 

The Tachikomo element is from Adam (our first lynch) and the mod pointing out that he had one. We haven't seen another one, but maybe that was a role in some way? I dunno.

 

Can't just be a distraction, though because the mod included it in a death scene. 

 

3) This gets back to dice saying he was confused - I'm pointing out that we have 2 players who have mentioned roles (Amnesiac Cop and Tracker) on top of types (hacker, cyborg & human). We knew about these before dice posted that he was confused, so I don't get why he would be confused. dice is somebody that I depend on to keep things straight - he's got a sharp eye for things and I'm just not sold on him tripping over something like that, especially given the sample PM's.

But didn't he reveal his role at the same time? I have to go back and look.

 

Regardless, that's a little different than what you described before. The first time you said he told you that "he wasn't a hacker on purpose" and this time it's because he "wanted to see who jumped on him about the QT".

How am i making things more confusing? I just cleared THREE people   me tigs and Ed. Tigs doesnt get her results   which matched my night 1 action. She and i are in a qt and the other is monstr and ed. Monstr is a MOD CONFIRMED hacker. it makes SENSE that hackers who hack another hacker hook up. Ed has a detail that matched my own. a detail i dont think will be in non hacker pms.

 

A lot more sense then a hacker hooking up with a cyborg.

 

 

as for ninel   im ASSUMING shes telling the truth.  it gets to lylo between her me and say ed or tigs  she dies. Im NOT totally sold on her but have to accept it to go forward

If you're both the same role with the same action, why would you get different results?

 

 

My theory/take on the Hackers OPs is that

- Hackers can access anything on the 'global network'

- Global network includes cyborg brains

 

ie Hackers and Cyborgs are connected to the global network, Hackers can access other Hackers and Cyborgs?

 

 

And I'm pretty behind/brain slow on the rest of the flavour but current take is

- Scum are the corporation who hacked Section 9 and enjoy profits half-curing diseases

 

 

i dont know why he got a actions resolution liknk   thats what tig got   and i didnt.  maybe shad thought i didnt need it.

 

the bit that convinced me btw was what he got told when he asked about self targetting. its what i got told too

Dice you have your qt just before deadline because I got mine after the flip. How do it make sense to get your action before the deadline or night is over? That isn't how mine worked, I got it right after the flip.

Yeaa. I feel like I have to vote niniel over that, reading our qt I just cannot seeing dpr being mafia.

 

This is the first time dice or niniel have actively tried to get involved throughout most of the game.

For everyone that is concerned dpr hacked me n1. I am a cyborg and I am guessing folks like s

Darthe cannot be hacked as he was a human.

 

I thought dpr was town because we were on the same page for most of the game, and me and him were doing quite a bit of gamesolve in the thread.

 

The problem I'm having is if I belive the above it leaves dpr as one of the 3. And the shade he has been throwing a niniel has been disturbing.

 

I don't see her faking this imo. If dpr is the puppet he played me like a fiddle. But I think it's obvious we are linked and there is 0 point in hiding it.

 

Dice is someone I was weary about but him clearing ed looked pretty gamesolvy to me.

I think voting nyn is the best option but we will need to find the puppet eventually and it's between ed, dice dpr.

 

Confirmed that Seph and I have been in a QT since D2. 

 

I'm a Hacker. Seph is not. 

 

I Hacked him and got the QT - that easy. 

 

None of this "they both have to be hackers nonsense" that dice is ladeling.

i figure its shad working thru the results. he cant do them all at once. I would have thought mods started them a little before DL if they have all the actions in so they can post the scene on time.

like tig claimed hacker AND cop.  the reason i wasnt totally believing her claim is that she knew what it was. I didnt. i just knew i was a hacker and had a nightly action and i may or may not get a result.

 

n1 there was a scene that read like a block. i thought it possible that i had blocked a shot on killa.  she would have been a good low info kill
