What do you think of my Tress read?

I think it's, at best, over confident. That doesn't mean you're wrong, but I think you're giving her too much credit. I've literally never been wrong about Tress in my life, and I just haven't seen anything from her to make me feel good calling her town. That reads list you gave isn't bad and could easily come from her as town...or scum.

 

In the very games I've seen her as mafia (Diablo, Demon Cove, not sure if there was another), she has a relatively hard time introducing content to the game and is kind of a perpetual state of catch up and uncertainty. I mean, she's (thankfully) not overconfident as town like some people (their names might rhyme with Smory Surren and Blovsticks), but she presents her thoughts in a way that make me say, "Yep - this is what she truly thinks". Is she going to go balls to the wall aggro to murder somebody? Not unless she has a really damn good reason, but she's at least going to make it known who she wants dead.

 

Like I said, none of those reads were inherently "wrong" (though i'm not thrilled about her take on me ), but a lot of them were things I feel mafia!Tress would feel she kind of HAS to say.

But you don't read me as well as you think you do.

 

Also, you've told me what you look for to town read me, and I know you haven't seen it yet. Mostly because I am not going to manufacture it to force a town read.

 

Now get your head out of your butt. It's Day 1, and you should know by now I am not confident on D1.

I mean, I'm literally batting a thousand coming into this game,  so obviously I'm doing something right.  And right now, you're high enough in the POE you would technically not be a scumread, so I'm not sure what you're upset about.

 

And if you know what I expect from your towngame, and you know I haven't seen it, I'm pretty sure you have to concede I'm a little justified in not having you as an overly strong townread.

Her town games just express deeper thinking in general.  She explains why something bothers her and muses on what it could mean out loud.  You can generally detect an evolving vision of the game out of her.

 

Scum!Niniel is a lot more bland.  Questions don't serve an obvious problem-solving purpose and a lot of things are just positive actions or negative actions without much analysis of what other players' intentions might be.

I wanted to know if there was a usual method for the scum players here on dm in the order they try to eliminate the townies.

 

In experienced players opinions in the current game, who are the wolves likely to go for first? I suppose out of those you think are town.

Kronos' read on Niniel is so weird from any perspective (w/w, w/v, v/?)

 

 

The dumb part of my brain thinks Kronos might make that read as a villager

 

In which case it wouldn't matter re: Tina's alignment

 

Or oh s--- my whole team is going down, yolo I'll call her a villager and see if it shakes things up.

 

If there was any QT briefing at all or generic past experience you know Niniel hates bussing and would encourage him to push someone else.

 

His reason for her being a villager was :???: she seems busy and I saw her be busy as town :???:  That's what I took from it.

 

He's been kind of ballsy in his return and I like that, easier to do when your back's up against the wall and the second wagon is your partner.  We'll see where he goes tomorrow + I kind of want a flip before I go off at length on conditional reads that might be proven wrong in two hours.
