Also, and I'm not throwing shade at any Doc claim, but given the obvious presence, who in their right mind would still try to NK Tess?

Which means they would have targeted someone else, and with this many people still on the board, chances are very high they would have hit.

I dislike this post.

Dislike it all you want. That doesn't detract from the fact that it would make no sense for a mafia team to waste a shot on a player they know will be protected.

Seriously - you think the mafia team shot at Tess, even though they know a Doc is probably in the game and 2 players claimed the role? Would you do that?

How, Sway? Who "claimed" or even soft claimed Doc. Besides me hinting last night and then stating today I'm not a Doctor.

Errrrr so I am apparently oblivious to this lol, but I feel like I should take ed out of the poe.

@zander I have 0 problem throwing reads of big or saying how I feel, the problem comes with trusting those reads.

I explain how I got my read of bfg, she was and has been extremely towny from that point forward imo.

Pretty much where I am atm is nold/irn/hallia.

So here's the thing about me and mafia. It's very much like me and playing pool.

I'm not particularly all that good at it (probably because I never took physics), but every so often I pull off a truly impressive shot that makes me look like I know what the hell I'm doing. Sometimes it's even what I intended to accomplish. Those moments are exhilarating and make me love it so much that I'm willing to suffer all the times I scratch, actually miss hitting the cue ball entirely, or utterly fail to separate the balls on the break.

N2 was one of my flashes of brilliance. N3 I tried to pull something tricksy assuming the mafia wasn't actually dumb enough to target me, but were observant enough to catch a couple of hints I dropped earlier in the game.

N1 I watched BFG, like I mentioned, and I saw Crusher target her. My assumption was that he was a town power role, probably doc, as she was being widely town read and I was wavering between her and Sooh for the most likely to be targeted for the NK. I tossed Crusher in my list of "people I'm not so much interested in voting today" D2, but when BFG called me on it I realized I didn't have any justification for town reading him based on his actual game content, and I didn't want to broadcast my PR that early, so I played it off as "I thought I saw something, but wasn't sure what it meant". Which was actually true.

Crusher went inactive D2, and I kept my thoughts on him to myself - DPR's little drop of meta that Crusher tends to bring his "A" game when he's scum gave me enough justification to keep him out of my serious POE for D2 anyway.

When I revealed D3 I assumed Crusher's spot was going to stay inactive without a sub and I would be a dead duck. Just in case, at the beginning of N3 I stated my intention to watch myself... and then I started having all these amazing swirling thoughts about who the mafia team could be, and I thought just mayyyyybe one of them might be sharp enough to spot my little D2 Crusher slip. And so when Zander replaced Crusher, instead of watching myself get protected and risking missing the kill, I watched Zander.

Saw nothing.

So there's my results from N3, and I hang my head in shame for trying to outWIFOM the night kill and assuming the mafia team was eagle eyed enough to spot who I assumed was the doc.

I think early on I tried to look at his back and fourth with cuth with a different light. Tbh re reading it I still dislike it and I probably should have pushed the issue more, instead I kind of just gave him a out so to speak.

At the moment I'm having a hard time looking past voting these 2.

OK Im gonna do my best to get all read up.

I havent been following along so I need to read the entire game,

Im gonna do my best to get caught up as quick as possible and I will try to be around as much as possible tho RL will not allow me to be as active as I normally am.

I am Town tho and I promise I will try my best!!!!

Anyone wanna be a GOATfrand and drop the cliffnotes for me so I can have some idea of whats up as I try to catch up?!?!?!!?

Ohhhh boyyyyyyy.... ZanderCatchUp underway.... lol

Cliffs:

D1 we no lynched because DPR and Cuth were in the ring and they both thought each other was town, and it seemed pretty possible (turns out Cuth definitely was, and based on how Darthe treated DPR D3, I think probably he is too)

N1 Sooh killed with no coroner. Probably a limited shot janitor.

D2 it got all tangly with Seph, Cuth, Darthe and DPR arguing with a side of Ed thrown in for good measure, and it seemed fairly likely that at least one of those 4 was mafia, so we put Darthe and Cuth in together and Darthe claimed Coroner, so we lynched Cuth instead. Mistake.

N2 Nolder replaced WiFi and said he wasn't planning to read the pages he missed (which he also said in the signup thread, so I guess that's whatever man). Darthe said he was going to use his coroner ability on Sooh. DPR asked Darthe for the details of his role. Darthe wasn't around to answer. BFG killed.

D3 Darthe said he got no result, refused to give details of his role, pushed DPR pretty hard as his top wolf suspect. I had a hell of a lot of fun toying with him before I revealed as town watcher. I watched BFG night 2 and caught Darthe killing her in living color, so we threw Darthe in the ring with DPR. Nolder was the only one who decided DPR was more suspicious than Darthe. Darthe flipped mafia goon.

As for the rest of 'em, Hallia has been super inactive which is kind of worrisome. I'm pretty comfortable with Dice here, as was BFG, so you can probably give him a pass on your suspicion-meter for now. DPR has been up and down on my suspicion list, could possibly be gambiting with Darthe but eh... keep an eye on him, but I think he's probably OK here. When you get to D3 watch Darthe's interactions with him and see what your take is. In fact, if you won't have time to do a full catchup before deadline, I'd prioritize D3, it has some nuggets.

You ask a lot of questions for someone that won't read or answer any.

These are exactly the kinds of posts I am talking about.

The kind that are aggressive, but not overbearing, and with enough truth in them that others will let this slide to see what happens.

I do ask a lot of questions, it's part of the game.

I have answered a lot of questions. Since I've joined I've been active and engaged. This is a lie.

He's attempting to conflate the fact that I didn't read back from when I subbed in with answering questions which I have been.

And all he's trying to do is draw me into an argument over whether or not I am or am not doing this that or the other thing.

He doesn't care whether I read anything or answered or didn't answer anything.

That's not the point the point is to create as big an argument as possible (without looking like the cause of the argument) and distract everyone until a deadline approaches.

This is the meta I'm talking about.

It literally got him caught like 2 or 3 games in a row on JN recently, but only after he'd caused plenty of mayhem.

I am telling you guys you need to put a stop to it now.

He's like wormtongue from lord of the rings, he is not ineffective at what he does and it will drive the town into chaos.

I recently saw him act this way, without change, as scum 2 or 3 times in a row.

If he isn't scum again then I need a longer hiatus from the game because this is as blatant as it gets imo.

I feel like DPR is being served on a silver platter for me it can't be wrong.

Put me in the ring with him I'll stake my life on it.

This makes 0 sense from a town perspective on day 1 where we are making our own info and nothing concrete.

My issue is you go from saying you dont feel comfortable reading BFG as Town, that she can fool you easily as Scum and that you have a hard time reading her, then all of a sudden without too many new posts from BFG shes likes all of a sudden like your top Town read and you comfortable with her being there.

The sudden switch of your comfort level at reading her goes from basically scared to lock her in to basically top town read is very weird imo.
