The comment I was referring to was regarding DPR.

I haven't read this entire game, like I said, but what little I've seen reminds me of the last two games I saw him as scum.

Very combative and lightly trolling but not so heavy that anyone wants him dead over it.

He is willing to engage in fights over minutia to keep his "opponent" and the rest of the town engaged on nothing instead of scum hunting.

IMO that's what he's doing right now.

I don't believe there is a coroner role in the game, fwiw.  From what I know about game balance, it makes no sense from a setup perspective.

 

Darthe made a convenient claim to get out of a lynch, and hasn't bothered to come back and answer legitimate questions. And as a claimed power role, he lived through the night, which kinda adds to my not believing him.

its more i dont NOT believe him you know? Sooh has no flip  we are all assuming she was janitored so a coroner, being the opposite of a janitor makes sense to me. I dont know why you say it doesnt make sense balance wise    and i think dpr said something like that too??  but then im not a mod person so im probably missing something.

 

as for why he isnt dead   im wondering if he worth killing to the mafia. I mean how much damage can a coroner do? role wise i mean. It can stuff them up if they dont know about it for sure  but now? just means they cant use the info they janitored. 

 

Plus its Darthe. As you are an example of  even with a claim people dont trust him. So he sows discord.

I figure it's a win win with regards to his claim.

It's typical of him to claim a PR to get out of being lynched.

Given that he's MIA with a result it looks like he might be on his scum meta as well.

 

Either he's lynched and it's resolved one way or another or DPR is lynched.

Other than Dice, who I'm pretty sure is town, I literally don't care who fights Darthe today.  I am never voting to lynch anyone other than Darthe, and I'm not comfortable pulling anyone else out of the POE right now.

8. Nolder (Wildfire Sedai) - WiFi's super defensive reaction to DPR's vote during RVS, plus her lack of involvement...  Giving Nolder a chance to provide salient content but if he doesn't want to catch up on the earlier part of the game, I'm unsure if this is going to help.

 

4. Ironeyes - Early focus on Cuth for his attempt to start a train on Darthe, on the bright side he did move Darthe down to the bottom of his list D2.  Has been a bit fence-sitty.  Will be more concerned about him if DPR is town.

 

I have gone back and forth on all 3 of these at various points - they all show good engagement in the thread and appear to be attempting to solve, but there are things that concern me about all of them.  I think it's most likely only one of them is mafia but I really couldn't tell you which one right now.  Could be two with some distancing, but I would be surprised if there wasn't an inactive or one of my nulls on the team with Darthe and one of these three.

DPR is trending down for me based on posts since the day phase started, and Darthe, well, I dunno. I'm still not very sure about that vote, because I don't know if I believe his claim or not. My gut instinct was to believe him, but it's fading...

Thank GOD it's the weekend. Im back again, and I was able to read along for a little bit yesterday but am gonna catch up now.

 

For the news youve all been waiting for, I was informed specifically that my action last night revealed nothing.

I'm actually pretty uncomfortable with the apparently generally accepted view that one or more of Seph/Darthe/DPR(/Cuth) must be scum. Genetically most mafia don't commit that hard

 

Obvious problem this time is that Darthe and DPR style their play on not generic

 

That said I need to reread but afaict the argument stems from Darthes 'joke' vote and Sephs (and Soohs) unexplained votes. I can sort of see DPRs point that ~baseless votes are scummy, the problem is that at the time they were made there was nothing* real to base a vote on and that not enough happened afterwards to 'move on'.

 

DPRs posts since involve conjecture, overstatements etc, but Cuth flipping town grounds them in a possible town reaction. There was also no real attempt to save him from elimination end of day 1. Problems I have are possibly just playstyle related, I struggle somewhat with a narrative approach

 

I don't see Sephs vote as being scummy and overall his approach is more understandable lol. His Poe is similar, his frustration reads genuinely to me (although lolme at trying to read emotions in gameplay), eh I'll try to expand on (or at least articulate better) this later

Im a bit burned out by the constant sus this game, but if its to be me I wanna be against DPR. He is the clearest wolf itg imo, and I think that him voting cuth yesterday should have been a dead giveaway.

I'm more worried by the majority of the game that are doing nothing

 

Most important in this are Hallia and Crusher, both of whom had one or two game posts Day 1 and nothing(?) since. Think Hallia posted that shed catch up/play on Monday, I know we've had almost 2 days of not being able to post but this isn't a difficult game to keep up with even if getting reads feel like scraping nails along a chalkboard

 

Crusher I remember a post on Sooh Day 1 and nothing game related since (a post about struggling with the setup?)

 

 

WiFi can be included here as she was around, but not involved more than the others, her readslist read WiFi light, but is now replaced and I'm willing to give Nolder chance to play

I'm with you on this one. Of course that's a tiny bit hypocritical of me since I haven't been nearly as active this game as I was in the last one, but Hallia's disappearance is pinging me hard because I've seen her do this before as scum. I don't know as much about Crusher, having only played with him once before.

To be honest I believe tress over darthe, iron for 1 her timing is really at a good spot I'm as darthe claim was mainly there for self preservation. If he was mafia he didn't really have a choice. If tress is lying it would be a bad move outing herself for no reason really. Wanting to kill a pr who would already had a result, and isn't the strongest besides the info on sooh.

Coroner makes perfect sense in a game with a janitor. It's keeping powers in check so that mafia cant run amok if they do happen to kill a cop or whatnot.

 

Especially makes sense with any sort of rolestop, etc.
