Tress I would guess is town, but??? She's more aggressive/involved and seems to find posting easier(? Not sure of the right word for what I mean) than the last time I saw her as mafia, that said this game isnt active enough for range tells to be reliable.

 

There was also no obvious vote movement to save her end of day 1, but if mafia are/were mostly inactive that also may not mean much

 

 

Ed has several generic points suggesting he's town, no idea if they're ai for him

 

Marsh I need to reread, I felt decent end of Day 1 but it's based off very little

I have the votes as positive, the list as null and the rest as null trending negative (by rest I mean the lack of curiosity in her posts, there were 'who is this addressed to' type posts, but nothing that I saw as curiosity in people's alignments)

Most important in this are Hallia and Crusher, both of whom had one or two game posts Day 1 and nothing(?) since. Think Hallia posted that shed catch up/play on Monday, I know we've had almost 2 days of not being able to post but this isn't a difficult game to keep up with even if getting reads feel like scraping nails along a chalkboard

 

Crusher I remember a post on Sooh Day 1 and nothing game related since (a post about struggling with the setup?)

 

 

WiFi can be included here as she was around, but not involved more than the others, her readslist read WiFi light, but is now replaced and I'm willing to give Nolder chance to play

I thought Coroner seemed like a strange role for this game but due to jumping in when I did I didn't feel like it was right to vote one way or the other.

Sooh was killed at night with no flip, so at the least a janitor seems likely

 

Beyond that is gaming the mods <3

Why is that gaming the mods? Seems like trying to decide if a claim is false or not is part of regular play, no?

At the moment all we know about setup is that there's at least a 1-shot janitor in the game. Anything beyond that is setup spec based on mostly conjecture

 

More info will be known after night ends though

 

More relevantly Darthes claim doesn't clear him for several reasons, but to an extent he's now self resolving

Agreed on the self-resolving part.

 

But I think that conjecture canoe useful in limited cases - this being one - where we can ask ourselves "what would the point of that role be?".

 

It instantly cleared Darthe - who knew that it would, giving him a very strong motive for his reveal.

 

But what else? How does it fit into the game? Is anyone really wondering what alignment Sooh was? Does it matter?

 

Speculation on the usefulness of such a role is exactly what I think is beneficial because it helps to put light on the reveal. Especially in light of the fact that we have been given Cuth's alignment, greatly decreasing any need for a Coroner role and casting doubt on it's existence in general.

 

Still don't see how it is gaming the mods? In my experience, "gaming the mods" is play that negates the spirit of the game. Speculation on the possible existence of a reveal does not do that.

 

Personally, I find it anti productive to not question both reveals and the qualities of a possible Coroner.

Trying to solve the game based on setup spec feels borderline gaming the mods to me (and worse it's pointless spec when we know as little as we do now). I know that we have to question role claims, but now isntvthe time imo and I mostly phrased it that way so I'd stop setup speculation (lolme)

 

 

During the first couple of days, spec is all we've got, no? Tone reading is spec. All of it is spec until we get info.The idea is to get people talking about anything so that we can spot the slips later - catching somebody floating a bogus setup scenario is as telling as anything imo.

I'm with you on this one. Of course that's a tiny bit hypocritical of me since I haven't been nearly as active this game as I was in the last one, but Hallia's disappearance is pinging me hard because I've seen her do this before as scum. I don't know as much about Crusher, having only played with him once before.

I've already stated that I would post cases after day for obvious reasons.

 

LOL at you for sitting out N1 but now you're all ready to go. Just so we can keep a clear tally of your slips tonight:

 

1. Yet another completely unnecessary reveal (at least hinted at).

2. Don't know who is playing the game.

3. Asks for cases at night despite the fact that he didn't want to talk during last night.

4. Complains about my level of activity and "lack of making cases", but doesn't question Darthe's absence at all.

 

Just terrible, terrible play.

If your town your always just a hindrance regardless because all you like to do is pick fights over pointless crap. And the way you play in general is just anti town, but that's your own choice and isn't alignment indicative, just annoying.

This is just terrible. I was very out front about my opinions matching Cuth's, which puts me on record from D1. I was also very clear that I agreed with his logic and play. As you've stated - nobody knows alignment except for mafia, and by sticking my neck out to support logic stated by another player, I am putting myself on record.  

 

You saying I had no original thoughts is just wrong. You're attempting to discredit me, but have a look back and read how many people have remarked on agreeing/disagreeing with my thoughts. Kinda hard for them to do that if I didn't post any, eh?

 

The difference between Darthe and the lurkers is that he is attempting to steer the game. They're just lurking. In light of his reveal (which stands a very good chance of being bogus) he get's the attention.

 

2. Should be extremely interesting on how my read of crusher who has literally done nothing comes into play here. WiFi read I have explained, but the lack of content starts to override my early tone read. Because I know you love those so much.

 

Crusher plays his A game (active and astute) when he's scum because he won't let his team down. He tends to not post as much when he's town. Doesn't mean he can't change his meta up, but there are more informative lynches to explore right now (since he has "literally done nothing" and isn't associated with other players.

Who TF doesn't question a Darthe claim? This guy wears a jester hat when he's playing - regardless of alignment. 

 

In this case, why would he play such an attention-grabbing game and stick his neck out if he has a role? Who does that? And how safe of a claim is that? The chances of a cc are nil. Last, what good does it do? Is he going to use this amazing role to tell us that Sooh is town?

 

I truly don't get all the aversion to talking about this - albeit, it will be better focus after tonight's info. But, he's dating himself in my eyes by not explaining his reveal - that's just him protecting his options to claim stuff after he sees what happens. If it was a serious claim, he would explain how it works and put himself on record to be proven or disproven by the info.

The No Lynch idea made sense to everybody who voted for it, so I don't get this narrative that you and Darthe are pushing that it was a bad idea unless you are both scum, which is where I'm leaning.

 

Then fight two you were the only one to not believe darthe, as even cut believed him but that isn't relevant here.

 

Nonsense. Cuth was town and played in the best interest of the town. Townies want to protect town roles and Cuth knew he was going to swing. Simple as that. 

 

Knowing that he would not be able to amend statements after he died, Cuth chose not to use his town-cred to create. We are active players in the game and do not have that problem.

Yet at end of fight not only are you not voting darthe, you vote what seemed like one of your strongest town reads... you realize you helped lynch him to right? You could have not voted or voted no lynch, but you didn't.

So please tell me what made you vote cuth?

 

Just explained it. There was no saving Cuth. when I voted for him, there were 8 votes against him. Cuth's death gave us the info that we needed to begin to resolve the game, which is in the town's favor.

 

There was also the chance that Cuth would swing scum, in which case i would need to recalibrate my entire game view. As it stands now, I'm more confident n my original view. Darthe needs to die and then we'll sort you out. 

And don't forget my other question of who do you think is mafia if I am town, because I know the answer to.that one, and you are wrong.

Somehow, all of this is her fault.

 

BFG lied in bed, sprawled out, like a discarded Christmas tree.  Even if I sit here and think about it, I'm not sure exactly what that's supposed to symbolize.  She spoke, though hardly any sounds came out.  Her mouth didn't even.  At least, it didn't move in the way someone's mouth normally moves when they're speaking.  Instead, her lips just twitched, as if someone had attached strings to her and was pulling like some invisible puppet master, drunkenly performing his act.  

 

Half a dozen pill bottles littered the floor and the moldy bed BFG rested on.  She had peeled the labels off, or maybe she had scratched them off, so that nobody would know what she was taking but her.  Maybe she had done it so she wouldn't know what she was taking.  Maybe she had never known what was in them.  

 

In another life, maybe she wouldn't have been there, high on drugs and low on life - or was it the other way around?  Maybe she wouldn't have been sleeping on a filthy, damp mattress in that hellhole.   Maybe she wouldn't have been wearing a dress with blood stains coming from more places I'd rather not mention than I care to count.  I'm sure at least some of it was hers.  Probably.
