and I know how that looks all of a sudden but its the truth. I tend to get vote shy in beginning of the game for some reason. When that's the last place I should be vote shy.

First post that was off. Seemed a bit much, but could have just been misread.

 

 

 

I'm having difficulty grasping how we got from joking around about what color Eeyore is to this point.

 

 

 

Second post that made me originally suspect Song when used in conjunction with first post above.

 

 

 

I kind of want to say the above is townie for you, but the below reads oddly

Her reaction to BFG’s post about the first two I quote above (he references in order) is to completely disregard it and joke about it.

Just tried to reread and I'm kinda too unfocused to formulate reads.  I hate being useless.

 

Feeling vaguely ok about BFG, maybe Dice, possibly Sooh.  DPR is DPRing it up and can't be pinned down this early because he won't be meta'd.  Not sure how I feel about Cuth and his Darthe fixation - it's the thing that stuck out to me the most while reading but I can't decide if it makes sense or not.  And I never know what to think about Darthe.  WiFi had me a little concerned with the apparent overreaction to DPR's vote but I've read enough games of hers to know that's not going to be useful in figuring out if she's mafia.

 

 

I know we have less than an hour and a half to narrow it down to the 2 fighters for the day but to be brutally honest I'm pretty sure I'm going to be utterly unhelpful with that decision.

 

 

 

Only issue here with this post is the fact that eh said she felt vaguely ok about BFG, maybe Dice, and possibly Sooh. No reasoning at all, but gives even something about Cuth going after Darthe and reasons for her other feels.

I make reads all the time but you are one in less comfortable about until you start doing your thing.

Like I'm more comfortable tone reading other people Than yourself so I will be more cautious with how I go about reading you early on until I'm certain.

This seems like a lot of explaination for page seven Seph.  Like, BFG isn't an easy one to read anyhow, she warrants caution.

 

 

 

Even if I suss Darthe, he makes a point about this being a slightly over the top explanation.

First two parts are meh whatever, but the last part… This is why I had an issue with him later in the game. Also, which two people did he have reading it, because I don’t remember anyone else reading saying they thought it was a legitimate vote.

This was after saying he had two people reading it differently… Darthe is the original voter on DPR citing possible 3^rd player.

 

 

I assumed it was as well, I'm sure Darthes comment just went over my head then lol.

 

 

 

After Sooh said she assumed it was a joke vote and mentioned DPR was just 3^rd player in another game. Seph backpeddles but doesn’t retract vote.

 

 

 

OK I feel pretty comfortable with big and iron as town d1 in just these last few pages.

 

 

 

Iron only had a couple of quality posts at this point.

 

 

 

Yeah they were just people I disliked the least at the time, I don't really have a case for them. They are just the people in thread who are the least town to me. I actually loved your list you made earlier and agree 100% with it as none of them should be lynched.

 

Though I would like ed to come try to clarify and talk with me because it confused me on the point he was trying to make as I thought he was trying to twist it to fit his narritive. Besides that I have liked him so fat and would be my lowest town atm.

 

 

 

At this point, should make him Fight just for calling me fat!

Please expand a bit on this for me to understand.

Eeeehhhhh, gonna say this now. People who are already saying that during a Fight, the fact that DPR and Cuth both coming together so quick and opting for a No Lynch (I legit hve a feeling that DPR asked if No Lynch was an option because I've been in games with him where he asks a hundred and one dalma - questions, but that's neither here nor there at the moment) and not trying to pin the other person down as scum....

 

That doesn't mean they're town or lean town, imo. The people pushing that viewpoint are gonna be under my radar when I get onto my laptop and reread.

 

It was the first Fight after a slower Day 1 than usual. It makes sense anyone wouldn't be super strong on pushing for someone, depending on their read. I don't like how fast they both came into agreement (can't remember off hand how hard they were going for each other pre-fight, though), but their willingness to work together and aim for a No Lynch does not indicate town or Mafia.

 

Setting that precedence now is a bad idea and can be used by Mafia to connect themselves to being town-aligned if/when they're in a Fight.

Not really riding the fence, though. I legit don't have a strong opinion formed on the fight between you two and he lead up to it.

 

I do have a strong opinion about people using the connect-the-dots, look-how-they-handled-the-fight, must-be-town, to push you and Cuth as Town. Whether it was you and me, two other people, or anyone, setting that precedence isn't right.

 

We're talking about D1 with zero coroner info, so I think it's fair to say that nobody is ready to bank anyone as town just yet.

 

I don't see any precedence being set - I saw a lack of any cases being presented, hence a no lynch vote made to preserve possible townies.

 

It's obviously extremely unlikely we'll see another no lynch, regardless of how the fighters conduct themselves.

 

I'd say the same, even if some are posting hard town reads like they get off on them. Thanks for reminding me it was Day 1 before Night. You rock.

 

This is Mafia. Anyone pushing even a half narrative starts to set a precedence that Mafia can use to their advantage. Similar to how you called Sooh or Seph out for leaning town on me but leaving it ambiguous enough to turn to scum later. You're well aware that a good Mafia player could turn that to their advantage even with it being a Fight 1 fluke.

 

 

Oh, I'm aware. I'd wager you are equally aware of the potential narrative I'm preventing by stating the obvious.

 

 

There is too much outward, on the surface thinking in this game, so far and trying to meta people off of a couple other games. Me no likely.

I wasn't questioning how the game got to the point of seriously discussing WiFi's reaction.  I know very well I pretty much started the discussion of her reaction.  I was baffled because she went from cheery rambling about her love for Eeyore to suddenly this:

And then it's all about how nervous she gets when someone votes her.  It was a ridiculously defensive reaction, and as there had been absolutely zero game related content to that point, it was something to discuss.  

 

And then I remembered it's WiFi and trying to apply the usual scum tells to her play is a fool's errand.     WiFi is a "watch and see" read for me.

 

As for the rest of the case, I can't figure out what you find suspicious about the fact that I didn't respond further to BFG's comment that my statement read oddly to her.  I can't control how she reads my posts, and she didn't ask me any further questions about it.

 

I believe I have sufficiently explained how terrible I felt over the weekend.  I'm not sure why you have a problem with the fact that I didn't explain reasoning behind my fuzzy vague "feel ok with" reads.  To be honest it's amazing I had anything resembling reads at all with how poorly my brain was working.  I generally don't explain everything I say in great detail.  Why is it suspicious to you?  Did you consider asking me to give detail?  No?  

 

What makes me really curious is the fact that it appears you find me and Seph the most suspicious, but you didn't comment on this one:

Unfortunately I was a lazy jerk last night, and got summoned by my neighbor to walk with her tonight so I didn't have time to do as much work as I'd like.  I will vote this day phase, though, just need to sort through the bottom half of my list.   Some short ISOs are necessary.  Not interested in voting BFG, Dice, Cuth, DPR, possibly Crusher. The rest I'll need to look at more closely.
