I'm a little stumped right now on what to think, so I'm going to reserve most of my opinions for a little bit.

For whatever reason though Blackfoot seems to rub me wrong right now, I'm still a bit leary of Aemon, but not as much I used to be. I'm trying to analyze David's actions on Day 1 for now.

Its still too early in Day 2 for me to decide as to whom to vote for a lynching. However, we now have two people claiming that they are the Dragon Reborn. They both cannot be right, so which one is telling the truth? Or, are they both attempting to deceive us?

The scene with the NK of Padan Fain a.k.a. Naen was very well written, Womby. Good job.

Voting for someone doesn't neccessarily mean you are going to lynch someone. That's what unvoting is for. Do you have any thoughts on anything other than the dragon reborn stuff. Alot more is going on than that.

Also I see a lot of people lurking who haven't said anything at all today. You should probably start participating soon as lurking is antitown ^^

About the only other things I got any real thoughts about are the discussions between Aemon and Red. Something in my gut is telling me that there is a whole lot more going on there than is clearly visible. I am not sure what my gut is telling me, except to not take that discussion at face value.

Also, we got the Horn of Valere and a few seals out there just waiting to be taken. Of Course, the only question about that is:: Who's got them?

Vambram! Did you edit your post!?

oh crud. I forgot about the rule against it way back on page 1 of this thread. All I did was insert one word and fix a spelling error in order to make myself clear in that post. I am not used to rules against editing of posts. So, yes, unfortunately, I am guilty as charged.

You can give your item away.

I wouldn't wish this item

and the poem

on anyone

Can't say that I'd say the same. It might be fun to force somebody to speak in poems.

I agree completely Quibby. So I thought about this and whats interesting is I believe Trench would have given it away if he could. Give it to someone he thought was scummy and prevent them from sowing discontent among us. The fact that he still has the item, and correct me if I am wrong since I am still learning, quibby hinted he could gift the item. The fact that he hasn't begs the question if he even can. Maybe the curse is not just with the rhyming itself but with relinquishing the item as well. I don't know if that helps us discern if he is scum or not. He hasn't really posted one way or another. His posts have been quite neutral.

As I was thinking through Trenches item another thought occurred to me. I know we have beaten, Aemon The Dragon Reborn, to death but I wanted to bring this thought up. Mazrim Taim is first referenced in TGH but actually makes in appearance, and a lot, in LoC. It isn't until the end of KoD that he says, "Let the Lord of Chaos Rule," and reveals himself as darkfriend but that doesn't mean he wasn't sowing chaos way before that. Starting in book 6 or possibly before. We actually know he was. Looking back through all of the posts Aemon was 100% on one thing. He is the DR, and what that caused was chaos. We stopped talking about Song and her questionable intentions early on. He was on the bandwagon to lynch David, but I can't remember right now how many were on there when he jumped on. Finding out that David was scum made me think of two things. One, if he was a darkfriend he would have known David was and jumped on when it was determined that David was going down but I believe he was already on David prior to that. So that leaves me with my second thought. People have brought up before that there could be multiple groups at play other then us townies. There could be more then one mafia group, and reading up on that wiki Wombat sent, thank you by the way good sir, there could be cults I believe as well. So my conclusion is this, and I apologize for writing a novel like Red ;-) j/k, that it seems possible that Aemon is

a) skum with david and jumped on when it was sure David was going down (Not likely as I said above).

b) There is more then one mafia and he is in that (possible I believe from the rules and size of group).

c) Possible cult, which you could say The Black Tower had its factions within. (again possible from the rules I read and size of this group).

I do know one thing. Day one was chaos and Aemon was at the center of it. Let me know what you guys think and if I wasn't clear I will try and be more articulate in the future as I get the hang of this.

In a game this large, the Lord Our Mod could work in any gimmick he saw fit, though I have a hard time seeing the Black Tower fit that role. If the game covers through book 6, then there would not really have been enough time to lay much more than a basic groundwork for the eventual subversion of Asha'man. However, that just leads to speculation on when, canonically, the split begins, and really doesn't help. Do you have any other reason to suspect the BT cult link? And do you think that there is an actual Black Tower in play that are allied with the townies?
