Darthe claims Mentalist and claims he got a reading of Turin/Sinister as different alignment. Hence all the votes on Sinister. I would have thought you had seen that but just in case lol. I have a strong suspicion that Darthe isn't playing straight, given all of his actions and a lot of his reads.

Looks like maybe I was misremembering about Peace. It was more Peace sussing Leelou than Leelou sussing Peace. My apologies. Ateast in unless I missed a post but it seems Leelou just corrected Peace, and did not openly sus him for accusing her of distancing. I was also voting berf before Teph and became the counter train and got shot. Hmm.

Dice would have to pass them on, and I doubt he realised he was messing with the Siren. Sadly he could even have been protecting them, but you think the cop in this game would be a better role. Dice brought me back to life instead of Teph. I think that clears him pretty much.

Leelou was set against Peace and Berf. Unless I misremembering. The straight forward thing to do is remove her. Anyone is sus just WIFOM. Killing her to leave a false trail is possible but that leaves the possibility you are leaving people more suspicious of you alive. Unless the wolves are under no suspicion I don't think a false trail is likely. I think it looks bad for those two, or at least one. Though as ever, hardly a smoking gun.

But the Mentalist can also be used to create confusion. Like at the moment the train is building on Sinister pretty fast because of what Darthe has said. @Turin Turambar I never noticed if you answered, but if we are eliminating SD we got to do you next. You ok with that? We don't get flips. Copping one of you would be more efficient. That way if Darthe is being honest we get two alignments instead of one. This way if he isn't telling the truth we will be two miseliminations and two NKs (all being equal) before we get back to hunting wolves. And also on this, regardless of setup possibilities, it is highly unlikely Gud (and of course Ithi) is the Symp. So that is something at least, lol.

Though someone gave Teph the Hot Potato and he had no other role. So in theory the Potato would be passed back and forth between the teams, though of course the mafia would never miss pass. Siren is nasty for town, be too towny you kill the Doc, too scummy you kill the Cop. Sucks to be Dice, lol.

@DPR sorry to bother you again man, lol, but could you confirm if it was possible that for example I could be the Apportioner and the Symp at the same time. Not about what actually has happened but just if it would have been possible in the setup for the Symp to also have had such a role. If you cannot, no worries I'll just keep torturing myself with the uncertainty, lol.

But if the Symp is randomly chosen would they not have a random town role? Otherwise you could tell the Symp from their role, that doesnt seem fair? Or is Symp a role that would preclude any other? Hmm, though it would have sucked if the cop role was given to the simp and they could pass it to the mafia. Maybe they aren't allowed to? Bah. Well, if that is the case I cannot square Darthe's behaviour or reads at all. Maybe someone else will provide some insight and maybe Darthe can explain why he wants to eliminate me, especially if we are both confirmed town and confirmed non-Symps.

So feels like Dice is cleared too. Could be give to mafia but that seems too op, in hands of Town it might still backfire. So definitely scratch that implausible theory, lol. @Turin Turambar I cannot fault your logic, except you are overlooking the Symp. Confirmed town is all fine and good, but for example do you want to sacrifice yourself just on the say so of Darthe? Remember even if we eliminate SD, we get no flip, you are still sus if we believe Darthe and we kind of need to get rid of you both. I don't like it. It still seems to me that Darthe is the Symp, and that puts a lot of sus on Peace and Berf. The more I think about it the less likely I think Turin/SD contains a wolf, especially if we were right about Teph. I cannot make sense of Darthe's behaviour unless it is wolf-aligned. Does anyone have any explanation that could convince me? And so it seems highly unlikely he would actually bus a teammate when we won't even get flips. Far better to hoodwink everyone. This is all speculation, but it feels right in broadstrokes. I think eliminating Turin/SD could be a mistake.

1? 4 seems like gaming the mod and 5 a little bit like cheating. We've got this far by being compassionate, but it does also seem a little risky. But worth it I think.

I was going to ask mod confirmation but I don't think there are enough dead people to make this a possibility. @DPR though just as a point of interest, if Dice for example had used an ability before dying, would that appear in the death report? If you are OK with saying of course, hypothetically, not confirming anything.

I was getting confused a bit about the Mentalist. Not a pass the parcel role. Definitely not a mafia role, they know who is who. So anyone else claiming? Though the trouble is if someone used the role and died, we wouldn't know that. How quick was Darthe's claim? Not sure I like that. But even if genuinely the Mentalist, Darthe can be the Symp. Darthe hasn't explained his flyby vote on me making me a competing train to Teph. He has not given a single reason for continuing his attack on me "this is a wolf" hardly counts as anything meaningful. I'm suspicious that he is cool with Peace, I'm totally with Ithi on that. Darthe says he is cool with the elimination of Teph retroactively, but his actions were to do a flyby vote to get a counter train going and then dip. Doesn't seem like Darthe was particularly keen on eliminating Teph in practice. Turin's case on me was really worrying. I appear a lot in his notes when his notes consisted of some really early interactions and me calling Ithi aggressive (my bad btw, the word I was looking for was fierce, sorry about that). I can see why Darthe, if somehow genuine could view Sinister and Turin, but it also feels off. That could be just my suspicions of Darthe and Turin speaking. Also still sus of berf. He seems to have flown under the radar a bit since he was an early train option that derailed on favour of me and Teph. Worth keeping an eye on I think. Anyone have any thoughts on the Siren? Something is troubling me, but not sure I can quite get my head around it. But I can sort of feel the edges of something ominous, if you know what I mean. Anyway, I'm off to bed to think about it. Sirens and feeling things, I mean.
