  1. Hello!

Does anyone have next up for a game after Krak's?  If not, I have an idea.  It would be experimental as I'm not sure it's balanced or even if it would work well. If someone has seen something like it before, please let me know and maybe I can contact the mod and ask how they worked it.

I can tell you it wouldn't be a B*STARD game though. I would do my best to ensure it's a fun time for everyone.

    Here's my idea:

Town Roles: Cop, Doc, maybe one other.

Mafia Roles: Day Roleblocker (would this be the name?), normal NK

Setup:  Town roles would rotate through the townies.  Each night the person who has it has to choose who to perform the duty on and then the role would be assigned to someone else the  next night by random.org   OR townie could choose who to give it to, but if it went to mafioso, the mafia would have the power.  I'm thinking random.org would make it easier.

Mafia roles: Mafia could together decide who to check for the day role.  At the end of the day phase they guess someone.  If that someone gets a role, they are RB'd that night.  If they nightkill someone who has a role, that role is then out of the game.

I'd love comments on this idea and/or help on making it work!  If y'all like it and there is no one chomping at the bit to run a game after Krak, I'm happy to run it.

We can still salvage this but i still think that if we dont have the other slot filled by daybreak we should call the game even if the slots Scum.  Just my take but ill leave it to the powers that be.

I agree, actually.  Regardless of alignment, if it's not Mk'd then the slot would be a bad lynch because we probably wouldn't get much information and sucks to leave open because then we're also not getting information from it.

Dices slot bothers me still tho my stance has softened just a tad.

Key looked good upon entry tho pretty easy for Scum in that spot to stay off the ML and try to look good.

Crusher is been a  tough read for me this game.  Hes seeing some of the same stuff i am but ive was so off an Lii cant tell if he was suffering from her 'gameplay' like me or just helping me stay in the tunnel to her death.

Bold: I get that.  Probably would have been easier to just vote Lii and go along with the mislynch though. Or waited to post until after DL.

FWIW, I thought your frustration with Lii sounded more real than Crusher's; his seemed like he was piggybacking off you.  Also, I've read games he's been in here lately, so I think he's a smarter player than to fall for the "she said she's not town, [even though she said she was a doc] let's vote her".

It's really hard to care about this game rn.

If I'm wrong about Zander and/or dice then lolme... prolly my worst game ever.

This game has been mostly fluff, and then Z and Lii going back and forth so I get that.

I feel like I'm probably missing an obvious wolf in you/Z/dice because I'm LOLrusty.  It's been like 5 years since I've played.

  3. Lol, thanks Krak.

I don't think people should be voting Liitha.  Although her posts are difficult (at times, very) to get through (no offense meant; I think differently than you do) she's a claimed doc and there is no counter claim.  Plus, her argument about Dice and Club Leaders not being vanilla makes little sense as scum.  As does claiming doc in a setting that probably has a doc, due to it having a cop.

Zander's frustration looks real. He seems to have the only WIM in the game, so he can be town for now.

Nyn's ....less so, but she's been giving enough impression that she cares, so she seems townie so far.

I don't buy Crush's confusion with Liitha, voting her because she said she's not town.  I was just an observer and I felt like it was obvious that she was trying to say she was not townie in terms of just vanilla.

I didn't like Lava's posting only pictures in the beginning, but for ~reasons~ I like dice's claim, so they can go in my town pile.

I don't know IT at all (hello! *waves*) but coming in at the 11th hour and voting a claimed doc, like dice has said above is way wolfy.

VC says it takes 8 to lynch, but I'm only counting 6 here, plus myself is 7, so whomever it is I don't remember them at all and they need to post more.

They  should release a few at first so people could decide if they want to stay with it then do weekly from there.

I really like this idea.  I think this is what Hulu has done lately for a few of their original content shows.  A different platform, I know, but it's not unheard of for streaming services.  It works well for getting people involved, so they are more likely to return, in my opinion, but also gives weekly releases for the rest of the shows, giving the time for hype, discussion, etc.

I'd be fine either way, because of course I'm just looking to watch it!  I do hope, though, if Amazon decides to do it weekly that they try it with other shows first and not have WoT be the guinea pig, so to speak.  I think with the comparisons (already) to GoT, and the "usual" Amazon way of releasing the entire season at once that changing it may actually hurt the show.
