That's fair. I try to use meta in combination with current thread play. But sometimes i like to see how other's gauge it.

i agree about darthe being a concern if hallia does end up being scum for level 1 reasons

 

What does this mean?

 

 

level 1 reason is the most basic reasoning for a read basically(some say level 0 but i start at 1)

 

so if someone flips wolf, people they are pushing look good and people they are defending look back on the first most basic level.

 

Then you take into account other things like their past history, what they have done previously(ie are they a busser) and how the people theyre interacting with are contributing and then you make a more informed read.

 

so hallia flipping wolf would look bad for darthe on the most basic level because of her defense of darthe

I think bopolis is taking a simple mix up of thought and blowing it all out of proportion.  For this extreme blow up I am going to create a special location just for bopolis for now others could end up there in the near future. in my reads list:

This is where I am right now, but some of it is just random feelings because I haven´t got time to look back. 

 

 

1. Andrej - never know with him but he looks good so far. It´s hard for me to read him since he often becomes the thread leader but I don´t see anything scummy so far. Good thoughts about Hallia and asking questions. 

2. MrsClov - is also asking a lot of questions, which I think is a good sign. But I can´t really remember what her own thoughts are. It doesn´t mean that they aren´t there, just that I don´t remember.

3. Darthe - null. His claim got the game going, which is good. Haven´t done much since. Voting Nolder, which I think is good. 

4. Bopolis - if Wifi is mafia then Bopolis is clearly town. 

5. Niniel - town

6. Verbal - don´t know. Haven´t written much? 

7. Wildfire - I think Bopolis find could be a slip and her answer wasn´t good. 

8. Dice Zander -  - ehm, no idea. Nothing that he has said have made me think anything about him. Well, I liked his posts to Nolder, I think. 

9. Eldrick - still think he is town. He seems sincere and open. 

10. Nolder - still don´t get a good feeling about him but I think the cases for Wifi and Hallia is stronger right now. 

11. Lenlo - I had a good feeling about him before but then I saw a post that I didn´t like. Will have to find it later. 

12. Ironeyes - like Verb. Haven´t been here much, has he?

13. Hallia - I agree with AJ about Hallia.

Afternoon lovelies, 

 

I thought about where I'm at in the game and reviewed my notes. Here's where I'm at on each player, so far.

 

 

AJ:

• I feel like he's sort of been the voice of reason of the thread. He's been posting his thoughts a lot in the thread, and given pretty good explanations for them.  Would not lynch today. 

Darthe:

•  Obviously has been a topic of debate today. Whether the claim with discuss attached to it actually intended to get a discussion going or not, it did. At this point, I can't see Mafia opening themselves up like that. Would not lynch today.

Bopolis:

• I don't hate his reads list. It's fairly similar to mine, with a few changes. But overall, I feel like I can follow his train of thought pretty well. I thought he responded well to how he knew so much about the Nolder/Darthe thing if he hasn't really played here before. Probably wouldn't lynch today.

Niniel: 

• This is gut feels mostly, but I felt like her posts seemed genuine and I liked the points she made on Nolder. I'd like to see more from her, but probably wouldn't lynch today. 

Verbal: 

• I don't have many notes on him yet. I need to go back and read his posts. Null so far. 

Wildfire:

• I can't follow her thoughts at all. It still bugs me how all over the place she was about her Darthe "read". When she explained it, it didn't really feel much better about it or make me able to follow her thoughts any better. I also didn't agree with the options she gave for Darthe and AJ claiming. I feel that there's more than just the two options she gave. Would lynch. 

Dice: 

• I think he made an interesting point about what he thought Darthe was doing with his claim. His vote on Hallia is interesting, and I'll discuss it a bit more when I get to Hallia.  Null so far, but probably wouldn't lynch today.

Eldrick: 

• His early post about setup bothered me, and my reply to it about fishing was mildly a joke. I did want to see how he'd react to it though. I felt like for a good chunk of this phase he's been going after really weird things in the thread. Things I deem insignificant so  I definitely saw him as scummy. His more recent posts look better, and I think he's done a decent job of explaining himself in them. I think I need to take a step back on this one because I don't know if I'm on the verge of tunneling him or not. Might or might not lynch. 

Nolder: 

• Originally, I was not crazy about his Darthe vote. Based on his comments, and others, it made it clear there was a feud between them, so it felt like a policy lynch. He's came back in and explained himself. I really like that he countered the comment of he votes darthe in 100% of games with previous games and reasons. Would not lynch. 

 

Ironeyes: 

• I don't really have much to say on him. Null for right now.

 

Hallia:

• She's not making me feel great. She hasn't really given a ton of thoughts other than to point out to the Darthe dislikers that he was actaully putting his thoughts in the thread. She's been pretty quiet, and I was pretty null on her until her conversation with Dice. I thought it was pretty obvious that Dice was getting at a watcher/seer cover sort of thing. Her responses to him seemed odd to me. Instead of saying why she thinks someone is town, she's just quoted a post and said they were moved to her town pile. I don't really feel like that many of her thoughts were original either. She said she was on the fence about Nolder and Eldrick, but I don't know that she's came back and said more on it. I tried to get her to, but she kind of brushed off my question.

@Dice - you're just going to have to get over it. I likely won't be fully trusting your slot for a long time yet. It has been a long time where I have actually played with you without knowing your alignment beforehand. I'm pretty much never ever getting lynched this game so before you try to twist it on me with the "he's supposed to read me well" angle I'd suggest you put in a fork in it now.
