If a demon killed another demon last night, that probably means 1 of 2 things:

1. multiball, which sucks, or

2. demons don't know each other (otherwise why would one kill a teammate?)

If 1, then somebody please daykill me. If 2, then wagonomics will not be nearly as useful.

Or there are some odd mechanics involving a mafia traitor if some sort. Is there such thing as a serial killer who poses as mafia?

OR (4th explanation) there's just a serial killer who also happens to be a demon in the flavor.

I'm leaning toward explanation four.

This seems like a poorly executed attempt at misdirection.

You a Demon?

Or theres just a redirect or something. Someone redirected or returned the kill and Darthe submitted it.

So sadly Zander died. He part of the Order. One of the two people I managed to find and get with last night. We can still confirm atleast one more just because theres part of the mechanic that all order members probably know that hasnt been revealed yet. So thats out there.

Darthes dead, so 2 wolves in a D/N phase. Nice. Heathens are confirmed town, though that was suspected. Makes David very likely town. Very nice. Also, 1 for 2 on my wolf reads so far so... yay?

Extremely unlikely that flavor would serve to confuse players, even for a DPR game, heh.

Also unlikely.  A Redirector in a clearly already complicated game doesn't fit (imo).

I mean, I dont know game balance, but whats to stop DPR from taking a complicated game and making it crazier? How is a redirect crazier then multiball or any of the other suggestions?

What is multiball?

^this.

multiple mafia teams

Besides conversions my least liked format.

Hey Crushlove, we missed you.  You waiting for the herd to be thinned, like me?  hehe

Different Demon teams? I feel like we would have had some indication of that by now if that were the case.

Which is why I'm leaning towards demons not knowing each other.

Not really. I just have a hard time keeping up here when the game comes out of the block fast. Im not familiar with all the players so it's very tough for me to get a feel for the game during the early light hearted discussions. Im reading now trying to get a feel for what is going on. To come to think of it, I guess I am. LOL

So of the people who were actually trying to case me, one still hasn't provided a reason why, and the other was a demon.

Ok.

A demon killed a demon and I'd still like to kill you.

Vote Kaylee

Sorry hottie-bo-bottie - me thinks you're scum.  Her delicate nature, afraid to make mistake, defending everyone in the game only to make a stance once I called her on it and then to hard case Lenlo and disappear after is pinging my ping ping.

Three kills, all non-town.

We know that had we not achieved a lynch yesterday, demons would have gotten an extra kill.

We also got

Celebrate as you will and while you can. The price to pay for killing demonkind is high.

which could just be flavor or could be a hint that demons get an extra kill when lynched

A Demon’s rage is something that mortal man can never truly comprehend. It is at once primal and all encompassing, taking on a power and life of its own.

It is that rage that finds Zander, unprepared and unable to protect himself against it.

The demon literally tears through him, leaving behind nothing but bits of flesh and bone surrounded by blood-spray.

It would have been a horror had Zander been a normal human. Instead it was a real tragedy.

Zander, Acolyte (Town), has been killed, his light extinguished forever.

A second Demon searched for a person to vent its rage and thirst for revenge upon. Lee is who it found.

Lee, Heathen (Town), has been killed.

A third Demon would also not be denied. However, in its lust for blood it gave itself over to insanity and turned upon one of its own...

Darthe, Demon (Mafia), has been killed by another Demon.

It is then that the first rays of sun crest over the horizon and the Demons slide back into the shadows.

First off DPR Zander is definetly not normal. He MIGHT almost reach normal on a good day

ok so im reading this and thinking Zander was a a SK kill, lee was the mafia kill and darthe was the result of some sort of role.

Im thinking SK kill because of the description. I dont think a Town Vig gets written up as tearing thru the Acolyte.

The lee kill surprises me a little , i was expecting Len Tress or David tbh. Is that kill an obvious attempt to get Verbal strung up? Or is it a reasonably hidden verbismafiamustkillLeelou??

And ftr I did not kill Zander. I wish I did but I did not.

So

1) It's multiball and Snow's team got an extra kill. That would suggest that no lynching might have given both teams a second kill.

2) It's scum + sk who's also a 'demon' for flavor like Marsh suggested, scum got an extra kill.

3) Each demon is riding solo. That doesn't make much sense to me in terms of the bonus kill for no lynching, because 8 kills instead of 4? would be a crazy penalty. Unless the recipient of the bonus kill is randomized.

am I missing something here?

Red  what??

Blue is a good catch but i dont know its a correct thought. Demons getting a reward for a nonlynch makes sense but why would Town get punished for doing what they are supposed to?

I'm not sure I want to read into Leelou's death because everyone myself included backed off of her after the Heathen claim. She had ceased to be a lynch candidate prior to that shot, wolves gonna shoot people they don't think they can lynch.
