What ever happened to the subtle letting people read between the lines before just claiming something out of left-field?

If you mean David he tried, kinda, but was getting grief for it. Did he need to claim when he did? No but that's how it went down.

Soft PR hinting is anti-town.

Says the guy who kept trying to get Halli to hard claim last time he was scum.

She posts them as either alignment.

Which is more why I think she's just been saying random crap to look like she's reading the thread.

Hmm could be she's just actually busy and trying to appear like reading, meaning it's not alignment indicative. However, if she's done them as either alignment then it still doesn't make sense that she would be surprised by someone else doing it.
Trying to read, hence why I keep asking for cliff notes. If something sticks out I'm trying to comment.

I'll post reads lists, but I typically don't have 4 people in a wtl on D1 from just poe. That typically comes later in the game.

Even with a 21 player game where some have barely posted?

I don't hate a Leelou wagon

,_, at this point isn't it better to lynch Snow rather start a new train on Leelou?
I personally think so. I have my reasons to prefer to wait on Leelou at least until tomorrow. I may have misunderstood something I thought I saw... but if I'm right she probably just needs time to read up and think about things.

As the best "mafia Leelou-reader" this world has ever known, I feel it is not a bad request to ask you to provide what you think you saw. If I missed it, perhaps I can help. I'd like her alignment known ASAP.

I would normally agree, but I have already established that I don't think we are approaching the game the same way, and if that's the case it would mean nothing to you.

Like I said, it doesn't necessarily mean you're not town. But I don't think it's beneficial for town to put all the cards on the table D1. Some people will understand what I am getting at, and I think that's enough for right now.

I kinda love being mysterious and cryptic, lol

They'd be null.

Were you advised on your QT to to go after Lenlo?

Lol, I've had Lenlo as scum for a while.

Keep up the snark though. It's almost cute.

Except you didn't mention him in your reads list. Just David as a scum lean and me as town.

<3 you Tress, but I think you might be confusing "mysterious" for "scummy", lol.

You're saying it doesn't mean I'm not town.  Ironically, I'm on your WTL list, for #reasons.  Ok, I can live with that.  But don't assume what you're seeing with Leelou would mean nothing to me.  If I'm town, my insight will be valuable.  If I'm scum, you've still forced me to make a read on Leelou based on your thought process, and I've proved time and time again that I royally suck at faking Leelou reads.

So it is basically a win-win for you regardless of my alignment (or any of us, actually).

It's a correct position, I just happened to be scum that game.

Say you hint a role. Each person has, say, a 10% chance of picking up that hint.

In a 21 person game, we've got ~5 mafia. If any of those 5 mafia pick up the hint, then you're outed to the whole mafia.

If any town pick it up, only that one person of the town knows your role. (More if there's a mason group).

I could do the full statistical analysis of how many town know vs. the odds of the mafia knowing if you want, but at the end of the day, it's worse for town.

I've already provided my views on subtlety and how it is used (or not used) nowadays.

eh, I don't have the patience for subtlety since players are just like: "you did something that me think "wtf" then it's scumm!!!!"

So I'm giving us some real handholds.

If you think I'm scum, go for the train on me. See what kind of support you get.

I kinda like the thought of it.

I absolutely do not believe it is beneficial for town for me to explain any further.

That's weird, b/c I thought I saw....

In no specific order:

Town:

Kaylee

Tiink

Scum:

David

Lenlo

Always happy with a Zander lynch.

Going to try to figure out where I stand on Boo and AJ before I leave for work.

Darthe (imo) usually needs to be mechanically solved, b/c he'll do anything as either alignment.

Dice is pretty null atm for me.

That's kinda feisty since basically all I said was that this little game you're playing comes across (to me) as scummy.

Btw, I like this feisty Tress.  Rock it, sista.

Verbal, she's not calling Leelou scum but rather saying she saw something that makes she think Leelou just needs time to sort out. That's what I got from her last statement anyway.

I don't see a train on you happening.

Not scum, no.

And thanks for the quote pasting bug, DM

Sorry must've confused you're list worth someone else. Thanks for clarifying. I was thinking you hadn't mentioned him before and were now saying you had him lasted as scum. Misread on my part.

Tress have you reconfirmed what you thought you saw?

Way to read

She said she wanted to keep it close to heart for now, my words. She doesn't think Leelou is scum but rather thinks she'll resolve her slot in time.

She said it twice actually.
