The Believer not being Executed, I pointed out before that I'm pretty sure it took 4 to execute.  I can be derp at math sometimes but I don't believe anyone has refuted this.  Believer was never above 3 votes and one was a confirmed wolf.  So basically town!Believer doesn't get Executed here unless Hellian or some other wolf jumps on him to seal the deal--an act which would be pretty damning for the wolf doing the dirty work.  Hellian's account hasn't even been active since 10:49 am EST on the day of the lynch, and while wolves certainly do watch threads while logged out (unless she found out she was lynched in QT she surely has been here at least once since then) there is indication that she was fairly disinterested in this game and might have simply not shown up.

 

In short, I don't think that Believer not getting executed looks bad for him.

Yes, this is the critical part. Hellian could not execute anybody unless they had half the number of votes for hammer. Surprising to see so many people missing this point.

 

Anyway, Shad...what do you think of Kat's vote on Believer after JS voted him? She immediately changed to Hellian, but there was definitely an attempt to go there. Maybe if they had got one more vote, the scum could have executed Believer

The only fundamental difference between my super early reads as town and as scum is that the latter are more likely to be accurate.

Well that's how it used to be, which is why I've already said I suck at day one play. Back when I played mafia here originally the day one lynch was practically a crapshoot. Then we started doing stuff based on that person's alignment.

D1 is the most important phase of the game imo. If you can establish an accurate village core that's mutually reading each other correctly you can force the wolves to take stances on each other and react awkwardly for lack of many viable mislynches.  As long as you continually reevaluate and don't let a potential misclear coast to endgame, it's going to win way more often then just letting paranoia reign until there's some mod confirmations to roll with.  There's no easier scenario for a wolf to blend into than when everyone is mutually lost.

Lol ive Never experienced that before with him. I read that exchange and what I got from it is nol is beating the grass a bit or is a wolf (really not sure which way thats gonna go), you're is fine, zanders instigative, and on a semi unrelated note I think tink looks good so far.

In lieu of someone becoming that leader im more then willing till fill the role till one comes.

I've got tink, marsh and wild as hard town and I'm leaning that way on shad and zass. Hally and kat im trying to form a read on but just can't, nol is semi baffling me, anyone else I've basically ignored thus far.

Tbh, the ISO left me a bit less comfortable with you Shad.  You reference so many other games and back up so much of what you say that it almost appeared as if you felt the need to cover your every step.  I still have you as slight town I think, but only just so.

Boring answer. I was expecting more of a behavioral assessment. As in I have a habit of subconsciously adopting traits I see in previous games when I'm a villager that is non-existent in my wolf game.  But it's a hard thing to detect.  There have been instances of it here.

 

But I don't know that I buy red.  I've explained a lot of read origins in detail specifically because I've been asked to, and I've been asked to because I've been throwing out a lot of reads without initial detailed explanations.

The bold is a large part of what I've seen in TownShad. A willingness to dig deep and then to express it and communicate clearly. Am I wrong? Are you referencing an ISO of a Town or Wolf game?

 

I've no idea what it means for him, as I don't have a meta for town vs wolf shad!  I just noted what I saw, which I think objectively is prob more +ev for a wolf.

I'm cool with that Tink, doesn't hurt me to be wary of him and it doesn't hurt me that you find it genuine.
