Believer's ISO is way more introspective and fluff based here than either of the games before.I don't see a single reaction test or a serious push at anyone except for John Snow/Iron and he doesn't engage with them directly except in response to threats to himself.

I've answered every query directed at me, accusing or not.When you label it "threat" you imply that I've been purely defensive, which isn't true.I've told you exactly what you can expect from me, don't be surprised when I live up to my own standard. If you don't find me entertaining tomorrow, I hope you'll vote me.

My point is that you haven't dug at anybody unless they've dug at you first.

Even without the opinion that it's a significant difference from your approach in the last two games, that's an expectation that everybody should be measured against independently.

Z and I both said exactly ish that on our own. I still want reads (Goooooooooo Hallehhhh!) but mostly agree.

 

iirc my biggest issue with her is not her being bummed, it's ?early town reads on us and Believer and possible buddying with us.

It doesn't seem clear to me. I'd be more inclined to say that he doesn't want to get called out for sheeping and that was a motivation behind his list. There are like tiny elements of truth to some of his reads which is why I could chalk it up to hard skimming but it's generally absurd. And he's peaced out now so he doesn't have to answer questions. You guys town reading that is weird to me.

Shad what's your scum team atm? I feel like I'm in a similar situation as you that I've got some good ideas about who's town but my scum reads aren't panning out much.

I posted my reads list last night. Move Dice up to the top bracket, Halli up with the other nulls, that's where I'm at atm. Would lynch Hellian over Believer because I think Believer will show up eventually if he's a villager, though the clock's ticking, and I have no expectations of resolving Hellian by other means.

That line of reasoning makes a lot of sense. I'm gonna [unvote] [v]Hellian[/v] because John defended himself well and while I still don't think he's town, I also don't think we're getting a lynch on him today. I've got class again in about half an hour and it's possible I won't make the deadline. Not that I won't try, of course.

Ok. I initially didn't like Snow's entry but on a base level I have/had a lot of the same thoughts as this.

Standing out is that it's strange/possibly 'easy' to claim a gut read of me at that point in the game. We've never played together;

The progression with Nolder makes a jump I can't follow.

 

Wording here suggests that Snow has Nolder very resolutely null and is considering his potential to be wolf right from the beginning BUT in #594, when he first throws out a reads list, Nolder is in Green with no explanation.

 

@Snow - What made you put Nolder in green?

 

 

Him doggedly getting in an argument. When I put that in my reads list, I remembered a game I played with him as scum where he said, in the QT, "Yeah I'm going to really dig in on this argument b/c everyone knows that's my town meta". Made me change it to a null tell.

Confident enough.

His actions reminded me of when I used to catch Des as scum early.

He'd get really combative and dismissive, more so than necessary.

That's how Shad was coming off to me.

He's tempered his tone somewhat but it wouldn't be enough to shake me even if I weren't for a policy lynch.

I think that's kind of the opposite of my scum meta tbh.

 

Try to appease people and only get combative if the heat ramps up and I can't find a better way out.

But that's something you'll hopefully learn the hard way in a future game.
