i'm liking Zander so far. he can be a tricky little tomtom, but he seems attentive, questioning and is pushing outwardly. he also was the first to call attention to what i felt was the most "important" thing to happen in the early pages, a set of introductory posts by Wildfire Sedai.

Doesn't he literally do that in all games, irrespective of whether he is town or scum? I can never make out whether Zander is town or scum so early in the game, frankly.

He POSTS in either role, but where and how wide his attention span is matters a great deal imo

 

There's something else he said that makes me think he's > rand villager but I'm not going into it right now

I'm coming back from like a 3 year hiatus. I played on and off for a year or two before that. 

 

Best town quality is I'll say what I think even if it gets me lynched. Best mafia quality is I'll probably cause enough confusion to cause a mislynch.

 

I don't really mind either, just depends on the mood.

Yeah, that's what I thought would've happened. Guess it wouldn't have been absolutely terrible considering the game type but I'd really rather that not have happened.

It's all for naught if we don't start making waves today. I know there isn't much to go on, but if we sit on our hands that's not going to change.

 

Lenlo's been fixated on demonstrating his ability and not much else. Considering that:
 
 

How this is going to work is when you join you pick a character from this list.
Each character has different powers and abilities that I've tried to mold from the game.
There will be no doubling up so it's first come first serve.
Alignments will be handed out afterwards so I have no idea how this is going to turn out.

 I don't think it really matters.

I'm not sure it'd be productive to discuss Tiinker's ability in more depth or to just leave it to the imagination but I'd wager him using it when he didn't have to if he was mafia is probably a decent enough look as we really didn't have much direction going into today.
 
But having three people I don't think we should lynch today is not good enough. I'm going to reread to find anything but it's impossible for me to do this by myself. Even if someone has something to say that they might feel sounds stupid, you will not be ridiculed for trying.

while not necessarily a perfect "tell", something i generally look for in a player's spouts of posting is where their interior focus is. are they squinting their eyes into the distant horizon searching for that elusive future? are they contained within a small room with but a single door and just franctically trying to blockade it with their dresser, laundry baskets, tables? i for one saw wildfire's concern mostly being interior; reacting to words about her in the thread, not trying to communicate outwardly, and brash of posting that recently ended in a slightly more elaborate answer in the form of a short essay.

 

i have my reservations on that response, but do not want to be too hasty in judging!

 

other ticks and tacks: Hallia's level of engagement and attitude are good but she is capable of doing so as a wolf. fools rush in where angels fear to thread there is one specific thing I have noticed about her wolfgame (assuming my research is of merit) that she hasn't replicated but i'd rather continue to observe then make a call on it now. to be continued...

 

i wait here for others to make an impression on me, but perhaps such hopes are a folly.

This is pretty generic, but if I had the ability to extend deadline as a wolf and I saw lynch was in like 11 hours there's no way in hell I'd reveal and use it for town cred.  Temptation for an easy mislynch/no lynch would be way too strong.

He was Scum and he was one of the 2 players I read wrong.
