post game is gonna be awesome

I have too much respect for the mods to make post-game 'awesome', but you have fun with that.

Please don't make it personal ITT guys, you're both heated. You're both good players. I don't think thrashing things out this way will change opinions anywhere for either of you or us. I'm not even caught up yet and tbh it's distressing/distracting watching you both feel hurt. Take a breather on each other and focus on the rest of the players in the game.

I'm much more interested in pursuing this line of thought as it is.

The others will be sorted accordingly as the game unfolds.

Sorry, for my part. Gonna step away for a while. I'll be back later.

Sili, pls explain your "wolf trying to read correctly" comment wrt me giving AJ's post Towny points there.

Where do you stand on AJ right now?

FYI I'm not reading him either way, nor was that post hard-pushing anyone anywhere. It was me voicing the vibes I picked up on skim at work (ie. Gerrrofff me if you're not a Wolf. I'll re-look at everything when I get home).

What makes Wi-Fi a weak player?

Do you have alignment meta on her?

Why is questioning her reacting badly to pressure a bad thing?

Have you gone back and looked/got thoughts on her AJ stance?

answered about aj a while ago. you should have read that i think.

wifi's new

it's bad because it's easy lol

i'm not trying to read wifi at the moment.

How long does WIFI get the green pass?  This is game four or five and she had BFG as her mentor last game.  That's not to say that she absolutely needs to be scrutinized at what level we all are, but I'd feel amiss if we didn't give her some more weight now.

The meta is handy but the bold is pretty ... general-principal, no-actual-opinion sort of stuff. I agree with you on general principal and don't think anybody would disagree.

What do you think of her play so far this game?

Well he did tell me we were speed lynched before I first checked into the game, so at least he's keeping me informed on the important stuff.

who are you with again?

You know I appreciate your torturous sense of humour. When are you going to actually give reads?

I think I'm gonna retract my town lean on Belieber and slot him back to null. Him being out there doesn't make a lot of sense as scum in a general sense, but from what I understand he's not a terrible player and his case on Celeste is pretty terrible - most importantly because I think he's reiterated enough times now that I'm ruling out another reaction test. I appreciate Cass doing the leg work and checking him out in the Star Fox game cause tbh I was never going to.

I don't fully trust the progression here. You would have already understood he wasn't a terrible player when you suggested he'd be too timid to make waves? And how does a player you don't consider terrible having a 'pretty terrible' case on a player, not as a reaction test, end up equaling null?

WRT his ISO in Star Fox, it's only 2 pages. Somebody else casting an eye over it and giving opinions/a comparison probably isn't a bad idea.

Yey! Answers!

Why aren't you trying to read WiFi?

It's sus that you vote me for comments about her play if you haven't analysed her play yourself. Being new doesn't mean you shouldn't be pressured by players who find your actions odd.

WRT answers about AJ? Went back to ISO in case I missed something and these were all I could find.

and giving aj towny points for being logical which he might do as either allignment but probably as a wolf more in my personal opinion (but anyway) when 4 people are voting him? could easily be a wolf trying to read correctly or a wolf protecting a pal, though i'd lean toward the former for now.

i want to clarify what i said about aj.

aj seems a little more aggressive than he was as a wolf here. some of his posts have some bite.

but it's just a little. and i'm still making up my mind.

I did comment/ask questions about this and you never answered me.

Basically, main sticking points to the first point:

- I see no logical Wolf motive and can't follow why I should be Wolfy for giving his post towny points, especially if you're leaning towards having him as Town. IMO 'Trying to read correctly' doesn't seem a Wolfy thing.

- It could be equally plausible that a wolf protects their pal when there's 4 people voting him by shifting votes onto someone else and maintains distance from them by giving a hedgey read (ie you could be sus);

- Contradiction between what you state is your opinion of AJ's play (more wolfy when being logical), and how you ultimately lean him in your post.

The last process was explained logically with your clarification post so is discarded tinfoil. I think essentially we had a similar thought process wrt AJ (leaning certain posts towards more-likely Town, being ultimately undecided on his role). Which means you could equally be hedging or Town us are legit unsure of AJ and each other and dancing in circles.

Your push of me/responses leaning heavily on my earliest game impressions, commenting on nothing else and not seeming interested in actually trying to figure me out are probably the things which tilt me out the most.

some wolves like to be right. they feel it gives them credit. but my main take away was that those reads don't seem legit coming from you. in my opinion at any rate.

cass you give aj a town read. and the only justification you present is that you could follow his logic.

and to clarify, i didn't see aj being 'logical' i'm just taking your word for it. my read of aj is separate from yours, and so there's no contradiction here. i'm just not curious enough about wifi or aj to investigate further.

it's sus that you vote me for comments about her play if you haven't analysed her play yourself.

if i investigate wifi maybe i find something suspicious about wifi, but regardless of my findings the reason you gave for your read was weak, certainly in the context of wifi's meta.

Being new doesn't mean you shouldn't be pressured by players who find your actions odd.

well at the time i thought you had meta on wifi because i thought you were an active player on whatever site wifi learned from.

i'm reluctant to call this track irrelevant now, but it probably is wrt your alignment.

I'm already kind of laughing to myself about it.

We may never get along Nyn, but we can probably still win a Mafia game together.

I forgot to ask....wth is a "mash"

Basically like 60+ people playing together with lots of events and massive killing power on both sides. Super awesome but really time consuming.

Sili, that was my second post. I said I kinda liked AJ. I saw thought, deliberation and logic in the post and gave it (the post) Towny points. It does not a be all and end all on AJ make. IIRC I even mentioned that I didn't necessarily agree with his view. Objectively though, players who are working to figure others out are more likely to be Town (Thank you Correh and players of WoW). If AJ continues posts like that, I'll continue giving those posts Towny points.

Ok for the contradiction, that was under probable-tinfoil-due-to-crazy-lady-versus-Sili anyway.

IMO there's a decent enough chance that our personalities are spinning each other in circles here that I'm going to rely on other's experience to help me out with you for now. But as before, if you continue to base a wolf read of me on that post without further consideration of my actions since then, your reluctance to look further gets negative points on my sheet.

You don't have to investigate WiFi or AJ further. Pick anyone other than me and give opinions/thoughts on their posts. Pick any post of mine on anybody but the people mentioned in that first game-post and think about/give points on that.

Find something else besides that one post that interests you in the game and talk about it.

Sili you've set the standard to read you by.

And yeah, apparently it's a thing to wagon me for past games. Considering four people have voted me stats say at least one wolf did.

Kat, Wifi, Tiink, Zander

Kill one imo

fwiw, I think Zander's vote felt natural and i don't feel like he was taking advantage of what was going on. The other ones, debatable. Kat and Wifi seem paranoid. But would they be playing off of it? Between the two, Kat not willing to commit and sticking with it looks eh, but i think she struggles early on for reads and maybe she's just letting herself get stuck on the wrong thing, so I'd like to see where she goes from here. Wildfire backing off after dice and, I think also Hallia, chastised her, doesn't bother me. But I didn't like her egging B-dog to vote there before that, it was pretty gross. Sili's vote? I'm not even going to venture a guess. I have no freaking clue.

To be clear I wasn't declaring a scum read on each individual in that group just for voting me, just stating that there's ~plausibility of a wolf being in there because of simple probability. I'm not really bothered by Sili's vote and Shander reads fine to me. WiFi is being WiFi as far as I can tell, but I'm beginning to wonder when she's going to get off this crutch of voting people for 'claiming' scum in games when it's been more or less proven in several games that it means nothing. Kat is the new founding member of the AJ fan club. I agree that I'll wait for her to do some other things, but she should probably learn that parking a policy vote on me gives me an easy excuse to push her when I'm scum. It worked for me last game

Already gave thoughts on Nyn's post here, AJ can you elaborate the bold please?

What standard do you read Sili by?/How are you reading him here?

What does 'WiFi being WiFi' mean wrt alignment?

Why don't you mention Tink here?
