I had a theory as to what happened n1, but didn't want to bring it up at night. Maybe there isn't a role blocker. Maybe you didn't get a read BECAUSE you viewed laine. Don't know why though.

I didn't actually view Laine - that was a smoke screen. If I get a null result, I never tell who my intended target was - until they die. I actually had attempted to view Rey, as he was also in my scum category as well as being sussed by others. If I am a cop, I'm not going to waste time on someone only I suspect, and a lot of people have her as town. Same reason I viewed you - you were in a majority of people's scum lists, so I chose you so that the pools for multiple players got smaller, not just my own.

Well, adding Eldrick as a confirmed townie that the mafia will have to kill is not a bad idea. At least we don't have to waste a lynch.

 

I'm going to go through the game from the beginning same way as Nikon. I was thinking that I could avoid reading every post, but it looks like I need to in order to get some real reads.

I really don't like this post from Tsuki. He made it appear like he had viewed laine. She was his top scum read d1, and his response to "who he tried to view" was something along the lines of "exactly who you think it would be". Assumptions were made that it was laine.

 

I think his attitude towards her changed too. I'll have to double check that. Which would coincide with this read that he apparently didn't have.

 

Also, waiting to mention your null view until said view flips is such a cop out.

 

The only reason, only reason, I'm not stringing you up right now is because your claim is uncontested. I would expect the real cop to have viewed you by now if you were lying.

I really don't see the governor ability as a threat to scum. If they are in a position where the governor could freeze the main target, and the second one is scum, they are already in a tough spot.

 

Maybe cuz he was consensus town. But if they have a rb (and didn't use it on Tsuki last night for some reason) Then why didn't they block and kill hally?

 

I was so expecting that to happen. When the flip was Rey, I was like bwah?

Eldrick, I sussed her until she came out and said it was in her first post of D2. I then went back and lSO'd her and saw that there was a fair amount of Doc hinting there. Like I said I generally do not look for PR hints as town. Once I actually took a look there then I clearly saw it was there and that there would be literally NO WAY that mafia would miss it. 

 

I would say that there is only a small amount of tinfoil there just because if there was a true mafia RBer then I don't see a world where she is alive today.

 

As for why Rey died, PoE is getting tight for mafia. If they are trying to suss two people and then just happen to pick the one that is town then  the Governor role is very valuable.   This situation is part of my lingering little niggle about Alanna. We were both sitting there looking for an alternative to RTE yesterday. Me because I thought the reasons people were giving were not good, her because she was saying that she had a suspicion he might be town. she said that she would be willing to consider Shad but when push came to shove she elected to go after Rey. We now know Rey was town.

Actually it wasnot at start of D2. It was when I reread her D2 posts that I realised she was actually claiming Doc and a protect of Tsuki.  So more Like the 19th.  Below is that interaction FTR.

I´m so jelous, Hallia! I wish I could be at JordanCon as well. I hope you will have a great time. 

 

 

It´s weekend and mafia time! I will say right away that I don´t know how much I will be able to get on Saturday and Sunday. My daughter is here all weekend and I´m going to spend all time possible with her. I will be able to check in though.

 

Today I have time to do the rest of my iso´s. I will start with Shad. I was going to do BFG after that but I´m not sure anymore. It depends on how far Nikon is in his read. I don´t want to be rude, but I have a hard time reading peoples comments as they read along. I think it´s easier if you read everything and then chose what to comment on. 

 

 

I´m surprised by the nk but it also made it a bit easier for me. I was still suspicious of Rey and might had gone after him today as well. My bottom three was Lenlo, Hallia and Rey. Rey was town and Hallia has claimed doc. I gave Sooh some time to read up. Will see what she has said today. Anyway, this will mean that I need to re-evaluate my reads a bit.

First off, I never said she wasn't a scum read (and continues to be one) - I said I did NOT view her because the only person who thought she was scummy was me. My role as Cop is not to find out MY scum suspects, it's to help town in the best way I can. That is why I viewed Rey the first night, and you the second. Both of you were in multiple people's scum pools, and it is my job (IMO) to make views that will have to biggest impact. Say I viewed Laine, and found out she was Town - everyone else would be like 'duh', and only I would have a smaller suspect pool. And as to why I lied about who I viewed - why that fraq would I warn someone I was viewing them?? If I said I tried to view Laine, and scum KNOWS she is Town, they might just let my view go through, on the premise that me finding a Town is a better deal than them having no idea who I am targeting and risking me find a scum... I shouldn't have to explain why that is definitely pro-Town, and pro-Role...

FOS back at you, for continuing to act like my claim may be fake, and acting like you could 'string me up', spewing suspicion... You shouldn't even be coming at someone who just confirmed you - not a good look.
