The bold specifically is what struck me as town.

It's a Sooh thing.  The Sooh who thinks and then types uses difference phrases and levels of formality than the Sooh who types and then thinks.  If you see enough of the latter over time, she's town.

I don't know what this means, other than that you're good at reading me.

Stop. Focusing. On. The. Zander. Sooh. Thing.

Make. Some. Goddamn. Reads.

Cory you know Dice likes to get bogged down in mechanics and non game related stuff to avoid commenting on game related stuff as which alignment again.....

Why,me, Sooh?

Cory, for an answer, I say Darthe likeliest town because of my last catch up post reasons

Because currently I trust Cory and your play so far reminds me of your town game. I reserve every right to reverse this read later on.

At a glance this looks more like a town!Sooh thing to say.

I got the opposite.  The bold looks like mimicry to me.

Who am I mimicing?

townlike phrases that care common, mostly a cory one around here

and town never uses townlike phrases, right?

Your logic fails to impress me.

fortunately im not here to impress you, im here to catch wolves.  you can handle a little scrutiny

Well, ok. The comment surprised me because when we scummed together last month my willingness to take a stand on things in the first 24 hours was a huge factor in people clearing me at lylo despite a lurky late game. I'm not going to hold you too terribly accountable for conflicts with that game, because god knows I ignore my scum mates more often than not, but it did stand out as something I would expect you to regard as null.

Um pretty sure you staved off Lens lynch in GnD after my assault on him....

What Cory said intensely. GnD!Shad should be viewed as a sort of weird 3p role that wins with scum, not as scum proper.

But regardless of that, this is a... pretty weird thing to point out. There's a bit of an obvious gap between not paying attention to the specific cases for and against a scum mate and being oblivious to the fact that they just fake claimed 5 minutes from EoD.

What went through your head when you posted this?

Just something I remembered and thought I should point out.

But ya I guess GnD was a whole other entity in in itself.

Nothing usually goes through my head I just say what I say.....loolololololol

Do you think this comment is alignment indicative of me or were you just trying to see where I was coming from?

It had the sort of reachiness that scum!Zander exudes in bulk, but an occasional instance isn't troublesome.  I asked for an explanation because I wanted to see if you'd react defensively, which you didn't, which is a good thing.

Of course, Darthe.

I'm going to check out now. I'll be back after hopefully a good night's sleep, and then infinitely less work tomorrow. Have a good one, everyone.

Wild guess: I'll wake up to 13 new pages of posts. At least no less.

Last couple games I played with Verb, he seemed more vague and slow to start.

This time he seems to be more involved.

Something Im gonna be watching for sure.

Red, he certainly did in Chrono Trigger, and I had a pretty strong (incorrect) scum read on him for it.  I already feel better about this Verbal, and I'm not going to take that difference as a bad thing.

My first two games with him I read him correctly immediately (town, scum respectively), and I've struggled ever since.  I dunno.

Tina is the most obvious villager in the game. 100% clear. No question in my head.

Took me about 3 minutes.

That was kind of my thought earlier when you were still light town lean on her.  I've still got a ways to catch up; humor me in the meantime: did she post more recently that lead you to this, or did you reevaluate what she'd posted earlier?

Just the most basest observations:

- Tina's scum game is conscious of her post count limitations and generally has a lot of fluffier posts (both in generalities with people and general talk) to help boost it into more real levels. Especially early.

- Tina's ISO this game starts with immediate firepower and she hasn't spent much time stopping to be congenial. She's focused on the game, not on her volume or how people look at her.

- Tina's scum game has larger, game-play driven posts that serve an immediate agenda and generally are a precursor to a vote / push.

- Tina has had a mix of middle and longer game-play driven posts that clearly show her through process and aren't intentioned in another direction. Everything seems natural and cohesive.

- Tina's scum game generally pushes her to townread vocal players because her townie thought process tends to be a lot of "trust people who have shown they are town;" - she overcompensates here as a wolf sporadically to the point where her progressions lack depth and are developed too quickly.

- Tina has kept to her village principles but it's been a slow process. Her paranoia with me is something she'd probably forget to replicate as a wolf, for example.

I could go on.

She's a villager.

She has posted more, but I just compared her ISO from this game to World's End and was blown away by how quickly I noticed the differences.

I have this weird bell in the back of my head that goes off when I know Tina's alignment - you can ask her and she'll confirm. I literally never misread Tina ever and I don't think that streak is breaking today.

There are things you just know sometimes, you dig?

Yeah, I'm not disputing Tina at all.

But I'm going to keep asking you relatively benign questions like this all phase.  My apologies if they grow to be a bit obnoxious.  It's important to me.
