We were v/v in Discworld but we don't talk about Discworld.

Other than than... Red Wedding/ABBA/House of Cards/Ragnarok. I was a villager in every one and you were a wolf in every one. I got used to lynching you.

People commenting on Shad's perceived eagerness to play. Is this unusual for him? He was more reserved as the devil in Clov's game that I played, but his in thread actions werent really all that important (compared to a normal game). So curious.

For me it isn't his eagerness to play. He does like to mafia and IMO he is happier to be mafia than town. What is really pinging me is that he seemed to work a bit too hard to get into the "backslapping" fest that started the game.

Dice, buddy. How are you doing?

Are you a wolf this game? Why not?

The fact that you phrased your question in this manner leads me at least to think you were predisposed to thinking that dice was in fact mafia. The second question is superfluous if you have a null read on him.

so what is your actual current read on dice? Reasoning?

My actual read on Dice is null, with very light town lean. I'll need a bit more to be able to read him better. But, seeing it's early in the game, that shouldn't be a problem

Good morning folks. Havent read a single post yet

 you can always watch me!

By page four darthe has hally as town, and he had an unrelated semi

Darthe!!!!

Hey man how you been??

Reading through some of your content now.

Oh snap shots fired.

Howeeeeever.

[v] Turin [/v]

The interactions I have had with him this far prompt this, mainly around Sooh, but also in regards to Thane.

Hallia, I see some stuff I dont like from Turin as well.  But can you explain this for me a bit more.

This post is kinda sketching me out.  It kinda reminds me of Chrono Trigger where I was Minority Villa with Turin,

He starts to build a case and push of something very weak and starts his "subtle" push.

Im not a fan of this,

Quick thought.

Turin's posting style reminds me of his last scum game. The style--how he organizes his posts and presents information.

But the arguments themselves, at a glance, seemed to lack a key component that was sort of his biggest tell last game. I didn't get the feeling--at least in his case on me since I didn't need to fact check--that he was spinning information. He was just making mostly null statements and concluding with a vote. I expect scum!Turin to present them in a more damning fashion.

And that's what I need to reevaluate tonight.

Yah, after that psycho analysis I got nothing. Talk about something else where I can possibly read someone or analyze me to death and lynch me.

Sooh again you KNOW I love you very much!!!

I get that frustrated Towny is a fairly common thing....but you know I hate posts that ring to me like AtE...and Im sorry if im wrong but this does to me.

Seriously zander is my spirit animal

<3 <3 <3

#FULLDARTHZAN!!!!!

Yep this has been a town Cory game so far.

I think so to.

And I hope Cory dont hate me for saying this but we'll know for sure if his Scum reads start flipping Town.

Cory CAN be wrong on someone as Town, but its not gonna happen very much during one game imo.

Weak town read on Zander. I don't think he would keep his vote on me as a wolf, knowing it would be a mislynch and scrutiny would follow.

Shad has a bit of an "eager puppy" vibe going on right now, and he hasn't to my knowledge taken any stances on anyone. This makes me suspicious of him.

I don't know how I feel about Turin's town lean on me. That alone doesn't make me want to accuse him of TMI, and given his suspicions of Shad I'll leave him as neutral at this point. Like, there are things telling me he's town and things telling me he's scum, but right now nothing weighs more than the other in my eyes anyway.

Dice is similarly quite null for me, given him saying he doesn't think it's alignment indicative and hasn't made a conclusion based on it.

Cory I have no clue on (I literally typed your name as Cosy). Could go either way at the moment.

That's it at the moment.

[V] sooh [/v] I remember teaching you to do this as a wolf. Commit to something but tone it down.if If people challenge it, so you dont backtrack but also soften them up some. Tends to work over time and youve been consistent in it.

Im not really sure on how to read Darthe all that well and its been awhile since I played with him.

But I like the observation he made here.

Want to see what Sooh has to say about it.

Verb did you say how you felt about Hallia yet? If you did I missed it

Curious

I did not.  I only commented that I cringed when I saw her comment to Dice about who's online.  It was not game-related anyway (I agreed with her and the cringe was definitely not in her direction, heh).

I like her attitude thus far - I can see she's paying attention and tossing in some lighthearted banter, but nothing swaying me solidly one way or the other.  I'm also guilty of mislynching her plenty of times before, so I really try and see if people I'm townreading feel the same I do about her as the game goes on.  Like, this just happened in another game, so I know it works, heh.

There is exactly one dice post I am struggling with that makes me think he could be a villager.

Literally the rest of his posts make me want to bury him and never look back.

Which one?

Verb are you overthinking or am I just retarded?

Last couple games I played with Verb, he seemed more vague and slow to start.

This time he seems to be more involved.

Something Im gonna be watching for sure.

Dice is scum. Dice didnt jump and joke around,

He called out my vote on nothing but doesnt even "consider" the idea I wasnt even trying to push her as Scum.

Doesnt vote me for it.

Completely over reacts to the vote and uses false statement to try justify it.

So vote him (unless you already are... Are you?)

I am.

I think this game has significant GOAT village equity as well as potential WOAT village equity.

Should be a fun game.

Can you explain this a bit please?

Either you get it or you don't, big Z

lolololololololol

I´ve read the thread a little now and then. Focus seems to be on Sooh´s early post(s) and now on Dice´s defense of said post. Sooh could have written that as both alignments and Dice as well so I count them both as null. I will re-read and see if there is something to find.

Worst intro yet

Why?

Ive actually liked Tina so far but I admit Im not very good at reading her,

it's D1, he seems genuinely frustrated. He doesn't do emo stuff as wolf as far as i can remember. His content over the next few days will make him easier to read, instead of falling back to what had happened. There's more for him to work with, let him prove himself.

Tina entered the game by giving a summary, completely skipping pleasantries and simultaneously failing to inject herself in any meaningful way with her opening post. I find that sort of behavior fairly blase and somewhat wolf like in presentation

Verb, do you still enjoy being a wolf? Also comma How long has it been since you were a wolf?

Yes, but I'm not nearly as good at it anymore.  I've only played a few games in the past few months, but I was town in all of them.

Des would nitpick that this implies you are a wolf this time but I'm above that.

Albert Pujols signed a gigantic contract with the Angels in 2011 and then proceeded to be slightly above-average instead of the baseball god he once was. He pretty much comes out to overpaid / overrated jeers nowadays.

Josh Donaldson probably a good person to throw in there for someone more modern. Giancarlo Stanton. Joey Bats.

2 Bluejays in this list!!!

Cory <3

Darthe I'm like 95% sure I know your alignment but I'm not sharing it yet for secret reasons.

Just so you know.

You'll be talked about at length when I'm ready  :flamingsword:

Eating-Popcorn-Soda.gif

Darthe - meet me in scumchat immediately. We've got Cory issues.

Said every Scum ever who played against Cory.

@Zander

Turin's assessments and level of effort read town to me. Her and now Cory are people i would have in my gotta be town camp.

I call it Camp Wombat.

I disagree irt to Turin and agree irt to Cory.
