I'm gonna reread when I get to work today, cuz I can't mq on my phone and know I forgot some stuff I wanted to respond to.

Sooh's vote felt like a joke vote. It was null to me, and didn't feel at all like Sooh and Turin being on a team together. Someone pointed out that 2 votes matter when there's only 9 people (5 to lynch) and that is why I reacted so strongly to there already being 2 votes on someone. Felt like someone taking advantage of a vote vote to get closer to a lynch. I didn't read Turin's vote as a joke vote.

Irt my comment at shad. I know having a headache affects gameplay. I just didn't want to see you use it as an excuse to lurk.

This post feels scummy to me. It's as if he doesn't want attention. "Nothing to see here..."

I didn't say it wasn't okay. I just said you shouldn't shrug it off as "no big deal." Every vote is a big deal when it's only 5 to lynch.
So do you agree with Eldrick that he voted an existing "train" of one?

Why isn't 1 vote considered a train? Especially in hybrid hammer, when lynch can be as few as 2 votes. My suspicion was a serious vote on the same person as a joke one. 2 people voting the same person is a train imo

I saw the vote, and the reactions after that are interesting for analysis, as is clear by what has happened up until now. I decided to keep my vote there, just to see, but be ready to move it if further votes landed on Thane, but then I fell asleep :blush:

My vote wasn't a joke. Sooh's may have been. If Thane had gotten to say 4 votes and Sooh kept her vote on what would you be thinking then?

I vote who I think is mafia. I don't really care how many votes they have unless it is hammer or L-1.

I'm fine with having an instinctual feel from a post, even if it's wrong. But you commented on me trying to not get attention, which is very much not true. I am out there and pressuring and prodding. How is anything I did "trying to not get attention"

I don't like that you can't explain that. Feels like you're going after the "scummy player" without being able to back up your reasoning.

That's a dangerous way to play. What if your joke vote gets a townie lynched because you left it on them, and didn't have time to move it?

Joke votes are fine. They are expected. Leaving them on without a solid reason is scummy imo.

I see merit in both ways of dealing with it. Calling you out on it before it becomes an issue brings other people's attention to my viewpoint.

While waiting for it to be an issue ensures that my focus isn't wasted if you don't lurk.
