I suppose it's a point in her favor being we play similarly and I think I do that more as town.

Yeah, I just mean that you said she was overexplaining with the other post, or was kind of worried as to how it would look, and that put together with this, where she wasn't worried at all, does it sway your opinion of her?

All it means to me is lily and thane might be teammates, if lily is scum.

Her being worried about how she feels about thane, but not how she feels about me.

Posted

I also see the possibility that if she's scum and called out on over explaining that she would be more cautious with her words, and she wasn't regarding me.

If Thane isn't her teammate, her lack of caution is towny.

Ok, I think I can see what you mean. You're still sussing her until further notice then?

No, breakfast lured me

I agree with your comment about Thane re: "This reads like you know Z isn't a wolf" - but I also wonder when people who have experience post things like "So that means there's 2 baddies, right?" Your vote seems reasonable, given the little amount of material to go on.

Sooh is null from what seems like a joke vote.

Likewise I can see where Eld is coming from (again, given so little material to work with), but I don't think there's any honest risk right now of a real train happening, it seemed like a bit of an overreaction? Would scum jump to push on a train so soon?

Why does theorizing over how many scums are in the game make you wonder? What does that mean? Is it a good or a bad thing that you're wondering about this?

I mentioned before seeing Taborline being very diplomatic, here she thinks Turin is reasonable while she at the same time sees Eldrick's pov.

I like Zander's initial posts. They seem like scum hunting Zander.

To come back to this: As a way of making a point of the fact that you're town, "I can't possibly be scum, I don't even know how many there are!" sort of thing.

I definitely don't have her as town. I don't have a reason to not suspect her, but she's never been more than slight scum, and still is. Pending hally's flip. Cuz I don't see them being teammates. Not in a game with probably only 2 scum.

I suspect everyone I haven't cleared as town.

Sooh brought a good point about the game balance. Turbo is 9 players. 2 scum 1 cop and 7 vt. It's balanced. There may or may not be a gf, if cop is the only power role.

Posted

Lily and thane scum team. Would lily have Thane as town, an unpopular opinion, if they were teammates, especially being she's getting heat and might be today's lynch? I don't think so.

I don't think so either.

Ok, yes. I can see that. I just know as I mentioned before that Eldrick found that a 9-er on 2+2 has that particular setup. There's no guarantee this game has the same seeing as those are turbos and this is a long game, but that's the theory I'm working from.

Posted

I'm not going to assume anything about the setup (except that there are 2 scum. 3 scum in a 9 player game is way unbalanced), but until a non-cop probably flips, I'm not going to worry about gf

Ok, I see what you're saying about the red.

The blue: I'm prolly unnecessarily slow here, but you kind of explained by way of a hypothetical scenario?

I'm not sure where you're getting 'hypothetical'. Can you elaborate? Do you disagree with what I said?

I neither agree nor disagree with that part. I was just having a problem finding out if what you were saying pointed to anyone in this game in particular being scummy for their actions or if you were just illustrating your point. (hypothetical in this case meaning you were illustrating). Sure it's done a lot, but discussing what scum and town would/wouldn't do is rather wifom IMO.

I think you're missing the context here? Zander said an action was anti-town. I said no, towns often benefit from this. It's not inherently scummy. It's a bad reason to suss someone.

I'd have to go back through and ISO him again. I don't have time right now. I'll do it as soon as I can. I might forget, so remind me, please, if I don't do it by tonight.

In the Biz we call this a Cop Out response.

Really? Because I'm busy. Wish I knew a WoT curse for the three-letter acronym I'm thinking right now. *sigh*

I'm on it as soon as I catch up.

Still catching up (page9), but here's a few thoughts:

Eldrick seems different from the last game we were in. We were both wolves there, and it seems to me that his playstyle is different in this game. I don't know if it's good, or bad, yet. Just something i noticed.

Shad is not in game solving made yet. I hope that will happen soon, otherwise he'll be someone to watch.

Zander is alright,for now.

Sooh feels kinda 'aggresive' in her play (lack of a better word atm). She does try to explain her line of thoughts, but she's not holding back. Interesting.

Lily... there's a good one. No idea on what to make of her yet. Gets sidetracked a bit too easily imo.

*continues read*

His reads here (with the exception of me) seem spot on with my thinking.

How do you feel about Sooh?

Again, asking about Sooh. You do know there are other players too, right? You'll need to figure out majority of them to be able to solve the game, not one single slot.

I would think my support for lynching Thane would clear me as his teammate, should he flip scum. Should there be any doubt, you can mislynch me tomorrow.

mmmm..... [v]Eldrick[/v]. This is a bit much for me to swallow. Your whole team bussed each other last game.  I don't know that you saying this tells us squat about Thane's alignment if you flip scum, but I'm not buying that it's an honest thought.

Shad has a point here.

Sooh. What's your reason for leaving your vote there now? I find it suspicious that you commented on planning to remove your vote, but didn't unvote.

I don't usually hard unvote, even a joke vote. I leave it there until I find someone scummy or more scummy. I would have in this case if there had been a quick train on Thane and more than two votes were on him, but right now my joke stays where it is

Ok. I went back to check the last 2 games. To compare them to what you did here.

GnD you voted Zander cuz of the petition. You unvoted when you woke up the next day, because it was a joke vote, and you thought he was town.

Supernatural you joke voted BG, welcoming him back to the game. You decided to leave the vote on as a reaction test, because he didn't respond to your vote.

In this game, first you say you intended to remove it, but you forgot. Then, when I asked you about it, you said you don't normally unvote until you find a scummy target. Was GnD a fluke, then?

Can you point me to another game where you mention your joke vote, and leave it there without further reasoning? Because that is my issue here. If you can show me you doing it as town in another game, then I won't be suspicious of you doing it here.

I'm not going to dredge through games looking for a reason not to vote you. Your actions this game are suspicious to me, and that's all that matters.

Things like this make me read you as town, Eld.  I for one will not be voting you after all.

Hallia was much more involved in GnD then this game.

Something to note.

I was, I blame you for the initial part with your distracting me with TANKS; apologies for not coming back, my sis came over and we played Until Dawn (Terrifying btw)

I will join Eld and

Vote: Lily

For the moment this is where I am happy.

Hallia: I didn't really see a reason for you to actually vote Lily... care  to clarify?

I'm going to see the deadpool movie tomorrow :D

i did yesterday, was AWESOME

Bottom 4 at this point would be Lily, Hallia, Eldrick, Tabor (in no particular order).

Hallia and Tabor both have been more or less in here, posting game related stuff, just to stay in the thread but not getting too involved. Eldrick, poor guy, is seen as scummy nearly every game. Last game i know he was, and this one feels different. Other style or other allignment? Dunno yet. But I feel his posts are weird. Lily hasn't done anything to convince me she's town this game yet. She's present, commenting left and right, but I'd have expected a bit more bite from her.

Townies, for now, would be Thane, Zander, Shad, Sooh, Turin. Zander feels alright, Shad is starting to show some involvement (which i hope will increase). Sooh is getting pushed, but reacts well to it imo. Turin is totally off with his read on me, so i hope he has different suspects lined up when i flip town.

This is such a huge quote and quite messy. I deleted some of it, and then gave up. The bolded are things that I agree with. Looking at them now, they seem like easy things to say. Moving Thane to my null pile.

After rereading that post about my fixating on sooh, I thought of sonething. I don't need to find a majority of them. I just need to find the wolves, which is in essence the minority. Wolf hunting is exactly that. Finding the minority.

The opposite would be finding the townies, which is not what I was doing with sooh.

After my reread, this is how I'm feeling. A lot of it is intuitive rather than having actual hard reasons, but it is what it is.

1. Thane – If I had to decide on him right now, I’d lean scum.

Read on Thane @ 2pm (My time)

Updated reads list:

1. Thane – Upon ISO, I see that he and I think some of the same things. Town lean.

1.5 later Hes a Town LEAN

ISO'd Shad. He looks very good. My solid town core is him and Thane atp.

9 mins later hes in her Silid Town Core

Updated reads list:

1. Thane – Upon ISO, I see that he and I think some of the same things. Town lean.

2. Shad – post #58 feels town. Need to ISO

3. Sooh – liking her posts so far. She seems to be thinking and honestly scum hunting

4. Hallia – scum lean. Really don’t like the vote with no explanation. Not liking her explanation.

5. Zander – Not sure. Want him to be town, but null for now

6. Eldrick – His meltdown felt like frustrated townie to me. Town

7. Lily – utterly townie

8. Taborline – null. Not much content yet

9. Turin – Not sure yet. He’s very focused on Thane. Tunneling may be his style.

What specifically about Thane is town to you/what are some of those same things?

Tab asks her for some of her reasoning.

I'd have to go back through and ISO him again. I don't have time right now. I'll do it as soon as I can. I might forget, so remind me, please, if I don't do it by tonight.

2 mins after Tabs question she takes the time to respond that she cant answer it shes busy but cant even give some off the top of the heads reasons without quotes, I mean she just did 2 reads list and said she just ISO'd Thane less then an hour ago

I dont know about anyone else but this progression makes 0 sense to me.

Added to the Eldrick vote then unvote is just very suspect.

I feel shes very conscious of how shes being viewed in this game

I think Lily's scum.  I dont know if shes spewing Thane scum or clearing him but...

[v] unvote [/v]

[v] Lily [/v]

A red flip here and imma take a real hard look at Thane as well.
