Supernatural you joke voted BG, welcoming him back to the game. You decided to leave the vote on as a reaction test, because he didn't respond to your vote.

 

In this game, first you say you intended to remove it, but you forgot. Then, when I asked you about it, you said you don't normally unvote until you find a scummy target. Was GnD a fluke, then?

 

 

 

Can you point me to another game where you mention your joke vote, and leave it there without further reasoning? Because that is my issue here. If you can show me you doing it as town in another game, then I won't be suspicious of you doing it here.

Poorly worded is more like it. Turins' push on me sorta feels like Zander pushing lynches in his previous games (no offense, Zan) and they ended up lynching town. If Turin pushes successfully, you'll miss a VT next day. Me flipping town wouldn't automatically make him wolf, but it'd look... let's put it mildly... not too great.

Again, asking about Sooh. You do know there are other players too, right? You'll need to figure out majority of them to be able to solve the game, not one single slot.

this is... odd. Would people lynching me be town? Majority would be, if 2 wolves. Seems like you're trying to talk your way out of suspicion, with a hint of 'if i'm wrong, lynch me, that's a townie thing to say'.

Bottom 4 at this point would be Lily, Hallia, Eldrick, Tabor (in no particular order).

 

Hallia and Tabor both have been more or less in here, posting game related stuff, just to stay in the thread but not getting too involved. Eldrick, poor guy, is seen as scummy nearly every game. Last game i know he was, and this one feels different. Other style or other allignment? Dunno yet. But I feel his posts are weird. Lily hasn't done anything to convince me she's town this game yet. She's present, commenting left and right, but I'd have expected a bit more bite from her.

 

Townies, for now, would be Thane, Zander, Shad, Sooh, Turin. Zander feels alright, Shad is starting to show some involvement (which i hope will increase). Sooh is getting pushed, but reacts well to it imo. Turin is totally off with his read on me, so i hope he has different suspects lined up when i flip town. 

 

 

 

This is a weird list, Thane. Why so many town reads instead of nulls, we don't have too much to go on yet, and yet you seem alright putting them in town. Your scum reads are 2 people who aren't very active, 1 person who is easy to point the finger at (Eldrick), and Lily who admittedly doesn't feel great to me, but who has also had a FoS at her.

I've been pretty focused on Eldrick so far, so I can't say I have a solid impression. I know Hallia hasn't been around much, and I remember her talking about tanks, but not much stood out in addition to that. Taborline stood out to me in the post where she explained to Eldrick that I've done similar behavior with the voting before. It was a nullish post in and of itself, but it made me think that she was being very diplomatic, if that makes sense? I want to see if that behavior continues, though I don't remember her being very confrontational in mafia as either alignment.

 

 

 

I am usually pretty diplomatic on D1, though.

I don't read other games. I go by what happens in the game itself, and general feelings on how someone plays. I also don't listen to what someone says about their own playstyle, as that isn't to be trusted. If someone else can confirm they noticed that about you, then I will consider it.

 

I have a problem with you not seeing the issue of leaving a joke vote on someone. If that is indeed how you play, you should consider how that looks. This is not reaching, it's a legitimate bad concept imo.

 

Eldrick, I'm literally talking about the last two games which you were in. You have already read them. I did the same thing there. 

 

The ONE THING I find you CAN trust about people in mafia games is when they talk about playstyle, because it can be so easily checked. Like, I don't even tend to read when people talk about their meta, because they don't have to lie about that. The most clear example I can come up with here is Pizza. If he talks about his meta, then those posts ring true because they are 100% true. You can't ever nail him on that. IF I say that this is how I play, it is because that's how I play. The fact that I pointed it out should be null to you, but should also get you to reconsider your approach to saying the initial behavior is scummy.

 

There is no issue in leaving a joke vote on somebody unless they are in danger of being lynched. Like I said, had Thane gotten more votes than Turin's on top of mine I would have unvoted, flat out. I wouldn't have waited for someone more scummy to come along if he was at L-2 unless I actually thought he was scummy. The only danger I see in leaving a joke vote is if they get speed lynched, but seeing as this is D1 I don't think that was ever going to happen. Then it would have been a bad vote in that I couldn't ever have blamed anyone else for a possible bad lynch.

Secondly, watching how long someone keeps their vote on people isn't something I tend to do. You could very well be telling the truth here.

 

But I disagree with your reasoning on why you left your joke vote on. It's clear to me now that it's just an issue with differing playstyles. It's a scummy move to do so IMO, and is still a good enough reason to vote you. I am notoriously bad at reading you. I usually have you in null for a good part of the game. It's still the best reason for my vote ATP.

In both those games you were claiming like your character in one and your PM colour in the other AUTOMATICALLY LOCK CLEARED YOU AS TOWN. That isn't what either of them did. They gave the info and went about their business (or can you show me where either of them did). You are trying to compare apples and oranges.

Zander, this game is not the same as the supernatural game. This is IMO a vanilla game most likely. Also the manner they claimed and IMO motivation for why they claimed was very different from yours in the other game. They both merely claimed in a normal manner when being run up. Lily is right she was at L-2(i think Eldrick was also). [bTW, sorry Lily you did not claim early] You posted a picture of your character and posted under it something like probably important. You then tried to use that to force an automatic town read because you claimed a major character. So different reaction to different situation.

 

You implied that you were reading Thane town by your reactions to every question I (and I believe others) asked about him. Your most common responses were MEH I think.

 

If you can't see how the circumstances are different, I don't know what to tell you.

 

 

Youre arguing semantics.  It seems like you trying to make this fit your argument here.  In both the last games your were town in you went on about claims and now its cause its a different type game.  Well both of the last games were different as well and you still went on about not liking early claims. I see this as both a contradiction and a deviation from normal Town!Tuin Meta.
