i AM listening pizza   i just think nols been good since he started turning up and im not sold on the NB thing cause  as i  tried to explain  i can see why someone would say things like null.

 

doesnt help that i suck at reading NB

 

I don't see the good in either one, and will lynch either one if possible.

 

But this is a team game and I don't throw tantrums if I don't get my way. If folks won't help me lynch Thane, then my vote is yours to command because I can't be arsed to find a fourth place candidate to try to lynch, and even though there's over a day remaining, I've had enough bad experiences lately with people not consolidating. I'm giving people plenty of time to react.

I haven't posted a reads list yet. I don't usually like to post one on D1 but I think maybe it'll help people connect some dots so I'll bend on that this time.

I'll post one tomorrow night but I'm not done getting reads yet. I want to be as sure as I can before making any hard statements like that.

Hopefully some of our quieter people can check in tomorrow.

Feeling like Alanna is probably my best town read right now but like I said I want to get a few more reactions in from people and collect my thoughts better so that may change by tomorrow.

If I don't get some help lynching my suspects, I'm going to follow Dice and lynch whoever the heck he wants to lynch, for consolidation purposes. That means John Snow.

I couldn't follow all the multiquoting discussion that happened over the past couple pages, and I don't think it was very productive. I think it was for show / active lurking kinda stuff, asking questions that don't really lead anywhere. That's my first impression of it, dunno how I'll feel about it later.

 

And I don't really get a strong town vibe from you. This makes me sad, but I'm going to blame the RNG, it's not like you did anything wrong.

 

 

 

Thane I know has legit RL cant log on at work issues.  That being said he does tend to post less as scum.

 

Youre kinda jumping around a lot imo.  I don't think you did that as much in Matrix though I'm going strictly off of memory.

It's really easy to remember stuff when you don't have to lie about it.

This! There are about two people I've started to feel like I can get a read one, and you were one of them, which is why I wanted more.

 

I gave some thoughts on Pizza and Len already - I feel good about Pizza (can we call you Nomi?), I like how he's putting it all out there, engaging people, and pushing people. So far, I lean town.

 

For Lenlo, I'm not sure. His back and forth with AJ felt weird, but I want to finish catching up in the thread first and look through his posts again. His suggestion of help to me at the end of the post quoted above does make me feel better about him.

 

 

It's actually taken me all day to catch up with the whole thread, and I still feel like I have very few notes.

 

I feel quite good about Pizza, though I don't really have much meta to go on there. I only played with you once in Mafia, but I don't think I can trust that meta as you were trying to disguise yourself (if your usual post style is like this, long and detailed, then it could have been quite the give away).

It should be noted, I wasn't trying to disguise my thoughts or my style of play, I merely tried to use a different account name to avoid a personal conflict between myself and another member.

 

It ended up being prophylactic, but not necessary, and caused more drama than it was ever worth, trying to avoid non-game-related drama.

 

All my thoughts and posts were in the same style as before. You'll note I was very open that game, and that some persons such as Cory and Zander figured out who I was anyway, mostly because I wasn't trying to hide me at all, just the name.

In general I might agree, but I find meta more useful early game while late game actual game interactions are more important.

 

Specifically Dice I think I've read him wrong once in over 9 months of either playing or reading games. And specifically in Matrix my initial read was that it was a topic that Dice could 'fake' conviction on. Although more accurately I don't think he is faking conviction with that sort of post, it's genuine regardless of alignment. There are maybe 3 games I can think of where Dice has had conviction as none town,

 

Avengers when he got 'annoyed' at Tommys fake claims and bullying(?)

 

Pokemon (3rd party) where he buried himself in game mechanics talk

 

Matrix where he was annoyed at the alt account stuff.

 

None of those are about providing in game thoughts on players alignments. I have never seen Dice mimic the conviction he feels as town when mafia.

 

Technically I misread Dice in Pulp Fiction, but in that my initial reaction was town, then he went quiet and I tinfoiled :/

 

In this game he's provided off the cuff/unpressured reads on several players, something far more likely to come from Town!Dice.

 

to be clear when I say tone, I probably mean conviction and it's to do with how he presents game content rather than how he sounds in the out of game stuff.

 

It's not locked in, but I'm pretty sure I'm right here.

 

I can go back and pull up the actual posts I mean, but it will have to wait till I'm on my tablet later.

Can you touch on Tab please AJ, I made a comment about feeling like she feels almost a little "timid" to post which makes me think she may not be Town here because the last couple games I've played with her when she was Town!Tab, it felt like she was gaining more confidence with each outing and not afraid to post more of her feelings and comment more on stuff and do more real time convo's.

 

 

 

I don't have much of a read on her atp. She's posted a few times, maybe 4(?), and none of her content is really sticking in my brain which I guess could be a bad sign. I don't know her that well and haven't played a lot with her. She was someone I didn't have a read on in the Diablo game and likely would've cased her at some point if I had survived and she wasn't SHC

 

So like I said, she's not orange so much based on her posts (or lack of posts) but through mostly POE. I feel more strongly others are town

Not in a malicious way, but I do think you could do a little more musing before you post sometimes.

 

In a game this small with some good townie play the wolves can be POE'd quickly even if they aren't particularly wolfy. At some point you may just have to stop searching for suspects and ask yourself "well, who am I not town reading by now and go from there.

I try to post things as they come to mind as I am reading, because its worked better than what I did before. I am of course still learning how to do this whole trying to win thing well though.

 

In this instance I am Null on Thane though, cause I just cant remember what he has done. I know he has posted but none of it really sticks out enough to remember. I suppose that isnt a really a good thing now that I think about it...
