@Yates #132  I'm referring to what Sili quoted in #61 There's two quotes there, one by Clov and one by Lenlo. Clov's doesn't bother me as much as Len's up there, it comes off fake sounding to me. Reminds me of how I was dancing around the votes when I was mafia in Belicheck. I'll have to read a little more of Lenlo to be sure. Clov is bleh to me, I'll consult with Cory on that one.

I have expectations for Rack and we'll see if they pan out.

 

Sili is doing his town thing but has overinflated a few points imo--made it sound like things have happened repeatedly when I only noticed them once--which might be different from his usual 'overinflation' of blowing up benign posts into major talking points. Generally feeling town on him though.

Yates being more combative than I'm used to this early, not sure what to take from it yet.

Kind of digging Sooh so far, Zander's off to a good start and while I'm not going to underestimate him I've probably never tinfoiled on any town as hard as I did on him last game and I'm not going to let that happen again. I got a few bad vibes from him when I've seen him as scum and until that happens towny Zander is town Zander imo. Hallia taking Clov seriously was weird. I didn't get the issue with Lenlo but then this post:

Understandable, I didn't even mean to stay up this late, I'm normally working right now. Work is 6pm-5am Friday-Monday, and school is Mon-Thursday mornings-afternoons. So my mafia availability is whenever I'm not at work, in school, doing homework, barely sleeping, or talking to Cory. haha

Basically that how I interpret his actions to this point will depend heavily on what type of player he pans out to be.

I should elaborate so I don't seem like an idiot.

I don't think people either have nothing to say, or have a lot to say. IT isn't one or the other. Sometimes someone keeps it close to their chest and that's fine, but people tend to exist on a continuous spectrum, and if they are analytical like cory is they have something they could say. I remember last time Cory kept notes while responding and interacting with people to some extent on game related topics. So when he says he usually ramps up, yeah that's true, but he ramped up faster last game. This time he's been more absent early.

As for yates, he has like two stances. He can er on being passive or hyper-aggressive. I think he thinks in terms of tactics, which is why that duality exists. Also he's been busy in the past so he's been more passive as mafia lately. That's all. I've seen him be both. I've seen him be aggressive as town too, but perhaps it's more aimless then.
