Clov, the point i was making was that Cory, as town, is inclined to form a town core and trust his core. I was pointing out that Cory was not accounting for his core's reads, and I think that is still true where it comes to Dice regardless of what you personally believe.

 

I can work with this, but I don't know if I agree with it fully.  Cory is inclined to form a town core as town, but I've seen him do it as mafia, as well; I don't know that I've ever really defer to the group mindset and set aside his own (unless it was in regards to a lynch he simply would be incapable of securing enough votes on).

 

 

I genuinely appreciate you having the discussion about it, though.

Lenlo   keep going back and forth here   i liked how he responded to rack. hes tried to work around with zander

Cory/laine   have seen things i associate with towncory but hes not the force of mafia nature as per normal. that affects the tone i hear when i read him. Not enuff laine for me to have an idea on her. Leaning town here

 

 

I dont really have a  scum lean bunch as such.  I was wrong with Nomi obviously but some of the people left COULD be scum but I cant sit here and say because of this and this and this.

i read whatever i care about and i haven't paid a lot of attention to clov or thane. i dont know if thane is relevant. if you can show me you're consensus town, that's another matter. From what I've read of late however that does not seem to be the case.

After realizing why I had positive reads on Clov and Shad I was trying to think of why I had a negative read on Cory and I think I've figured it out. It's the exact opposite of Clov and Shad. Now this may be another case of me misremembering and I'm on mobile so I can't really check but I don't think Cory has actually said anything game related to me throughout the entire push on me. I remember one time he quoted me about the legendary Jim Bob Cooter but nothing related to the game or his vote on me or anything. Now again, this is completely off the dome and I know my track record isn't great but if true that's not the type of behavior I'd expect from Cory and it explains why I don't feel great about him this game.

 

 

Rack how much have you actually read

 

 

I've read the whole thing but it's usually been in catch up mode and on mobile so I've been like speed reading it. I'd like to see some examples though to prove me wrong.

Rack/Pral probably contains at least one wolf and as much as I don't want to go through the Pral grinder again it doesn't necessarily make him a villager again

 

Rack is a bit harder to read but I've seen him be villagery as a villager before and in absence here you should understand exactly where that marks him

I'm not confident enough to throw anyone in blue AORN and there's a definite gap in the null list but I think I would still be surprised if there was a wolf in the top 6. I would wager heavily there aren't > 1.

 

Pral's posts seems different to me than Ragnarok where I admittedly misread him but there's more posturing here than otherwise and more of a "making a case and leave" as opposed to the sort of little bits he was giving out. Just doesn't feel genuine to me.

 

 

 

This whole "I'm keeping my cards close to my chest" and "I'd rather they didn't know I was looking at them" thing, is that common for him as town?

Nomi I think it's a dangerous dangerous assumption to believe that wolves are going to play well.

 

 

I'm saying I have seen numerous games where villages have chosen to lynch villagers over wolves becase "player can't be a wolf, look how poorly he's played / he's not defending himself / he's not attacking anyone"

 

For the most part I'd argue low-impact slots are by nature a teensy bit > rand wolf in the first place.

 

But DM wolf culture has been so "lay low and hope no one notices" for so long and I know that doesn't apply to Rack but WF wolf culture is very very similar.

 

I just think it's incredibly dangerous to ever think "this guy is too incompetent to be a wolf, so I'll defend him" and is the sort of thing that causes extreme distractions for villagers down the road

 

 

 

Also I don't think Rack's game is an example of an incompetent wolf, nor does he strike me as a player who would be.

I have pretty extensive experience with him, so I'm going to take my word for it over yours LDO

I don't think I missed anything Cory said about Rack, but my tablet died and I lost the quotes and a more detailed analysis once already.

I don't really know how to explain what I mean in the above. It's just, I ISOd Cory in Ragnarok, and HoC (since I did misread him there) and in both Cory is more interested/involved. When he suspects somebody he talks to them, he's more open with his reads in thread. I dunno. His posts today are more involved, more explained but right now I'm kind of distrusting the motive behind it.
